Missing developer options - Asus Transformer TF700

I have JB 4.,2 on this TF700 and just ran the unlock tool with the intention of switching to CROMi. I was going to install recovery when I noticed that Developer Options was gone from the settings! How can I set USB debugging on? I THINK I set it when I had ICS, but I now have no way of verifying it.

Thanks! I knew that (duhhhhh . . .). This will teach me not to do anything interesting on this tablet after an all-nighter. I'm getting too old for this.

DPI seems too big

With the advice of one very helpful individual i decided to use cromi as my new rom, but in the set up i choose 240 dpi, that was wayy to big, then i went to 213, this still seems bigger and more pixilated on app icons compared to the stock asus rom, does anyone know what the dpi on stock is? Or what dpi looks really good.

Stock TF700 uses 240 dpi.
When did you flash this rom? If you did the bugged Cromi it will mess up.
Tylor
240 dpi indeed is a bit on the large side, but 213 dpi is generally accepted as a nice middle-of-the-road setting -- icons are not too big, but the text remains relatively easily legible (as long as your eyesight is more or less normal, obviously ).
I'd say that something went wrong during either install or configuration, and the new CROMI version (v.3.4.5 at the moment of writing) does have some issues here and there. (I'm going to stick to v3.4.4, methinks, until v4 comes along.)

The latest one's only problem in the Cromi boot logo. If that is not installed then everything is fine. That boot logo is not being very nice but other then that the rom is G2G.

Ive stuck with 213. It works.and i heard about the boot logo problem. Mine worked and i have it, should i switch anyway?

I think the new rom just released fixed most of the problem. I am gonna try a nandroid and reinstall the rom with the Cromi loader and see if I can reboot successfully.

Use either the Stock Kernal V4 that is in there, or the Hundsbuah V2 (seperate download) But the V4 stock kernal seems to run best as I can tell.

[Q] TF700-t not loading ******* links

Hi i have a tf700t with cleanrom inheritance running. i tried loading an adfly link a few days ago but today no links are opening. I am using google chrome mobile and it justs stops loading it doesnt show site not available or anything please help
Did you install the crossbreeder patch or adblocker/adaway patchers in the installer? UIf so try reflashing without them to see if it clears your problem. Also clear cache on the browser apps as well.
I will agree with you about the adfly's not loading and It has to do with the cross breeder app. Just reflash Cromi without it and it should fix the problem. I had the same issue .

Just reflash the rom, and keep Crossbreeder unselected. Clear cache itself wont work, you need to get rid of Crossbreeder.

Stock launcher settings

I am not new to the tab but I am fairly new with the stock launcher. Does the stock launcher have settings, if so I must be over looking them. Where are they?

Sorry to ask here...

But does anyone know if a Transformer Prime running Jelly Bean can be unlocked with the tool on the official site (it only mentions ICS). I've asked on the TF201 board but it's dead over there and I need to know ASAP .
Thanks.
If the tool is for the prime then I would say yes. The tf700's tool says ICS too but it unlocks on ICS or JB, dont matter which you are on for the tf700.

[Q] Tf700 only using one core?

I'm a bit od a Noobe to android, so I hpoe this isn't a "Stupid" question, I searched the Tf700 forum and couldn't find any relevent post specific to the TF700.
I'm running CROMI 3.4.6 ROM, that kernel and Data2SD. The device still seems to lag and run generally below expectations. I installed and ran Trickster Mod and found that onle one of the four cores is enabled and the other three are "Offline". Is this normal? If so, why would they use a quad core processore and only run one core? Is there a way to enable the oother cores to awaken the power of the device?

Try turning the minimum frequency with Trickster to 475000. You tablet will use what it needs as it needs it. My personal thought is it takes a moment to get the cpu out of sleep mode, aka the cause of lag. If you set the minimum frequency a little higher, It wont need a moment to change speeds, it will just process it quicker at first than it would getting out of deep sleep. Only personal preference but it does improve the lag.

By default your device is set to balance mode and in this mode it only use 1 core and if needed 2 core, to provide enough power but also to save battery life. If you want all 4 cores, just go into settings and set to performance mode, then all 4 core will be using under loads. So to answer your question, yes it's normal in balance mode.

Even in balanced mode all 4 cores are used if there is enough load. Just the maximum frequency is capped.

+1 Put some load on it and it should use all 4 cores.
If cromi is still running slowly then don't install fullscreen or asus studio and try a clean wipe.

Which kernel? Some kernels don't OC. Also you must be in performance mode to see 1700
