Pleas help how root my Sony Miro with 11.0.A.5.8 firmware
I have not found a solution to my problem anywhere.
Possible the root with te new firmware PLEASE HELP :crying:
did you try the program unlockroot?
you must be on 11.0.A.1.0 firmware
download thi firmware. it will be a ftf file! then flash it with flashtool! then root!
if u press thanks, it will make me happy!!

Unlock bootloader by company method or by flashtool plugin and flash latest version of vengence kernel it has autoroot

I can't unlock the bootloader not allowed :'(
its a sim locked version.And i dont flash older firmaware without not BL unlocked the phone.
where did u get the firmware. its not available in india yet

I look everywhere and i couldn't find a ftf file for relock my xperia tipo dual, i'm using (11.0.a.6.5) version.
Please guys,helpe me....... i'll intend to use flashtool to relock..

Edit: I use a FTF file to relock my bootloader (xperia tipo dual) and is ok and 100% working ... Just flash it in flash mode with flashtools.

Yep, Tried it, but to works i need a tft file for xperia tipo dual to relock bootloader....
I root my device but i can't update firmware with bootloader unlocked....

Thank you for the link worked flawlessly on my Tipo. Was able to successfully relock bootloader & update to the latest version OTA.

I´m waiting for cm10 works on tipo dual to root my tipo again.
Now i can root,unlock bootloader and unroot and relock again, just drm rigths that wont work anymore. and i really don´t care about it.

Get the UnlockRoot. There's a free version to download.
Uncheck the toolbars in the install.
Worked in my Xperia J with 11.0.A.7.5 firmware without downgrade.

Yes, in the first times it happened to me aswell. I changed some security policies in my router and it downloaded with no problems.
Check you firewall and connection properties.
My Xperia J says there's a new firmware to install.
Anyone knows what's new with this firmware?
Edited: It still can be rooted with UnlockRoot

Clockworkmod still won't work on it will it? Im sill on 3.28 because of that

clockwork works even with the .75 firmware.
New firmware 11.0.A.7.8
I have upgraded to the new firmware 11.0.A.7.8
straight to the Xperia J
I have not used PC companion
to my surprise. it was the super user. I did not lose root
lack developers look for users Xperia J
CWM specific Xperia J - Bootloader locked. ????????

A give him venegeance and cyanogenmod kernel need official files thx for help
Search for the firmware file in the threads here. Download and flash it via flashtool.
Guide is provided in the forum.
Use search feature.

I have also tried SrsRoot and Framaroot (Gandalf) I Just Get Exploit Failed on both Programs!

i have my xperia E 11.3.A.2.13 rooted locked bootloader
first flash 11.3.A.0.47 firmware and root with your favorite (unlock root, framaroot or srsroot) reboot.
after go to update center app and upgrade your firmware directly on your device, over the air, wifi, wait for it to download and install
then your device restarts you have the new firmware 11.3.A.2.13 ROOTED

hey, dont try that, its useless, u cant do anything except pay to technician and unlock bootloader.

What do you mean?
So your telling me I cant flash a kernel via Flashtool and then root using Framaroot etc. and then update to latest one.
I've had people do this and had a success.
