Clipboards - Asus Transformer TF700

Can anyone recommend a clipboard manager or are they all about the same?

I use Multi Copy Paste!, as it saves everything I copy untill either a set time or I delete them manually. (texts only, though). I can also paste any of them again an infinite number of times.
It also works with the Ctrl C combo on the dock. Very useful

[Q] WLAN access from TF - copying files

Is there a way to have my TF be able to see other computers on the home WLAN (like we do from our laptops) and be able to access files from shared directories on those computers?
I want to copy files from laptop to TF to take away with me, but the current microSD and Dropbox methods are slow and patchy, respectively.
You could try " es file explorer," it has a LAN feature that you and use to access your files
thanks - that did the trick!
+1 on the ES FileExplorer. I use it, and its very good.

Access your phones Sd card from your Transformer

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201791
use this method to see your phones SD card contents from your transformer or vice versa, to copy and paste between devices wirelessly.
ps, just a re-post, I take no credit for this.
Great find, thanks
I like wifi file explorer. Same thing but you can browse your whole phone, upload, and install apps from the web interface remotely. So you can upload an apk and install it without touching the transformer. I think the pro version is .99 CENTS and one I support.
This seems like an addition to file manger which I don't use (I use root explorer).
Plus wifi explorer you can set passwords to and closes when you close the app... so it's not open all the time.

Thanks for that,
Just installed that, i'll give it a go later.

apps to use gingerbread and honeycomb together?

I have an hd2 using an miui rom. I was woundering what apps would create synergy between these devices. i am using 2 right now. Does anybody else know of apps to fit this catagory, or better yet a list to fit this catagory.
bluetooth file transfer -- file manager that works for multiple android devices
textab -- text on a tablet through your phoe.
your question was a bit confusing, but i think i understand what you're asking for:
"can anyone recommend any apps that works on both honeycomb and gingerbead with these functionalities:
bluetooth file transfer
send text messages from the phone, via the table"
is that right?
dunno about the second, but for the first question: ES File Explorer is generally a good all around File Browser. just long click on any file, share, and pick bluetooth. you'll be able to pick any phone that is paired with yourd device, and you can send those files via bluetooth. works on both HC and GB

Need a Working Folder/Photo Locker App

Need a recommendation for the TF700T. I need an app that locks a folder via password and that will see the microSD card. I want to store some items in a folder on the microSC card that can't be accessed without a passcode. I've tried several folder locking progrms on the AppStore but none see the microSD card. I've tried about a half a dozen "PhotoLocker" apps but they either crash or are very slow and laggy on the Infinity.
Any ideas?
I've tried:
- Hide Pictures in Vaulty (continually crashes)
- iLock Pro (looks perfect but doesn't see the microSD card)
- Gallery Lock (slow and crashes)
- Keep Safe (slow and crashes)
- Private Gallery
... and others I can't find now.
you want to hide photos/videos, or entire folders?

Mostly photos but if there is a cleaner program that does folders then great. The built in image viewer works fine as it's pretty fast so just to lock and unlock and image folder would be great.
I wonder why . It seems to be a weird problem caused by how the SD card is mounted, it isn't the app I don't think in most cases

I am going through this with the samsung galaxy SIII. Great phone but the internal memory is called "sdcard" and the micro sd is called "extSDCard". So many programs are only written to look for "SDCard" and thus don't see or can use the microSD. The program has to be updated. Looks like Asus is doing the same thing but just calling it "SDCard" and "microSDCard" respectively.
There is an interesting article here: http://www.chainfire.eu/articles/113/Is_Google_blocking_apps_writing_to_SD_cards_/

get an app called File Copy. that's what i use. it hides pics and vids. it moves them to a folder that cant be searched and renames the extension. when you decide you want to view them again, it will go back to the way it was. the app has a built in image and video viewer. so although your stuff s hidden, after putting in your password, you can view it in the app.

Ouch! Trying to find something that will read the external SD. I have an email placed into a couple programs' authors. Thanks for the help and info. Preciate it!

Keep file date/time when copying files

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand with an issue I'm having.
I've noticed that whenever I put my camera's SD card in the Transformer and copy or move the files to the tablet, they lose their date/time attributes. This is messing up the gallery for me, since the photos get all mixed up.
I've searched other forums and the only insights I've seen involve using the terminal to copy or move the files.
Does anyone know if there's any file manager application that by default doesn't change the file attributes, or one where I can change this in the options?
Thanks!

That was the original reason why I had to root my tablet - for some reason only root can change file timestamps.
