Droid Charge Cases

So far a few cases have popped up but the pickings are slim. I'm sure Verizon will have some over priced cases. Here are a few I found so far.

I really like the shell holster combo from verizon. It has a built in kick stand, which I stick my right middle finger through and it helps balance the phone and I can use 1 hand and touch every part of the phone I need to, lol...y'all should check that 1 out.

I concur, the verizon store manager threw in one of these for me, and I really like it. I only wish it was a little less slippery.

Theres an Incipio case available on Verizons site. Its probably the best case out at the moment.

It's nice - very bulky though. My mom has it on her Charge.

I just got the Incipio double cover case and its very nice. Its not a snap on case so if it drops it will not come apart. Its a silicone inner shell and a hard soft touch shell on the outside.

The double cover is going back, there is no cutout for the hdmi port so you cant use it with the case on.

anyone considered an otterbox defender or commuter? their charge case isnt out yet but my buddy has one on his evo 4g and its extremely rugged and includes a holster

Yeah I'm waiting for otterbox to release their Charge cases. In the meantime I'm using one of the cheap gel cases from the Verizon store, but it slips off easily so not really a long-term solution.

I bought the incipio case and while there is no opening for hdmi, a dremel will fix that

TPU Case
I'm using the Samsung Droid Charge TPU case and I must say I'm impressed. It's a semi-hard/soft case and not flimsy like other rubber cases I've had.
My TPU case fits like a glove and easy to put on and take off.

Yeah I got it and like it. The commuter has two layers, one is gel and the outer one is a thin hard plastic.
It fits the Charge like a glove. There is a big open area for the HDMI port. The usb and headphone ports have a cover that you pop up to access.

I just got ghost armor put on my phone and can't be happier. Since all I am looking for is scratch protection and not to make the phone any larger - this is the perfect setup.
I got matte on the back and sides, andthe regularclear over the screen. This is so much better of a product than the zagg shields. Not only is the materialbetter, but it is cut to perfection so every little piece of the device is covered, even the buttons.
Also, the matte back and sides drastically improves the appearance of the phone. It looks like an aluminum unibody phone, rather than cheap shiny plastic.
Awesome. Best 40 dollars you can spend on this phone.
Oh, and if you go to one of their kiosks and get it rather than ordering it online they install it fir you, and they are very, very good at it.

I just had one in my mall right in front of the apple store. Go on their website, if they don't have anything there regarding where to find a kiosk give them a call - they are good at answering their phone.
I can post pictures tomorrow, but they probably wont show.much. you really can't tell anything is on it, but the matte back and.sides makes the phone look less plasticy.

On their website I found a kiosk locater after posting that. As far as pictures go im just curious how the matte looks on the phone.

I got the Otterbox commuter, it's great as all the otterboxes i've had are. It does add some bulk, but protects the phone very well with the 2 layer design. I'm not exactly gentle with my phone so I need the extra protection.
$26 shipped from an ebay dealer.

I'd like to see a commuter in person. I don't like the TPU much, it obscures the power and volume switches too much for my liking, and the charger dislodges really easily, but I bought it for a whopping 4 bucks on Amazon.
Might grab a cheapy silicone case in the meantime.

i-Blason Clear Hard Snap-on Case

For those looking for cases, these are pics of my just received "i-Blason Clear Hard Snap-on Case for Google Nexus 4 Smart Phone (Crystal Clear)". Snaps on just fine, doesn't protect the top or bottom of the phone, but protects the back and sides just fine. I love knowing it's more protected than naked, but still able to show off the phone in all its glory and shiny back! Yeah, the plastic scratches easily, but how cares. It was just $10, so I might order more just for spares.

Just noticed this case myself on Amazon, which cued me in that the Chinese are finally cranking these long awaited crystal clear cases en masse. Just ordered mine from here for $4: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251200525677?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
$10 is a rip for these cheaply made crystal clear cases that scratch if you so much as look at it sidewise. I am surprised that i-Blason didn't plaster their logo all over the back like they did with their TPU cases, at least there's that.

It's not the exact same one, just slightly different. But, it's close enough. Holy **** that's cheap!

Every crystal case I've owned in the past for various devices....over time, stuff builds up between the case and the phone. It'll scratch either depending on the content of the "stuff".
Just make sure you clean it regularly.

Good thing i have a full body skin coming in the mail already.

Dang, that looks so much better than the clear S-wave TPU case, it's not even funny.

Is that the wrong link? That one is Frost Clear, not Crystal Clear, and it's a soft gel case, not a hard snap-on case.

That's the correct link, but they have modified their listing. When I purchased mine, there was no "Pink". "Clear" was where "Pink" was. There is a link in this thread to an eBay listing that has the clear case much cheaper ($4).

I got the same case 2 weeks ago- so far, so good! First crystal clear case that I like

My clear case is now scratched up, but who gives a **** because I would rather it get messed up than my beautiful N4. I'll just order a cheap replacement down the road.

[Review]Acase dual layer Case

First, the case's full name is Acase Superleggera Pro Hybrid dual layer Case for LG Google Nexus 4.

FOr me, the seller shipped from IN, I dont know if they have any other branch. IAmazon said it would be delivered on Thursday, but I have received it on Wednesday.
I am not good at English, so I will use a lot of images to review this case.:laugh: I also take picture the case with the Nexus 4 adapter, so you can compare the demensions.
The case fit perfectly to the phone.
The case has two layers which are seperated. One is soft and one is hard.
I have a back, front and body wet-protector, and this case haven't peel my protector yet. Hopefully it won't. However, with a soft cover, I dont think it will peel any corner off.
THe back of the hard part is smooth. Hence slippery or not, I think it depends on each person. For me, it's not slippery. But the fact is it's smooth, so it can fall off your hand if you're not careful.
Buttons can be used very easily.
I dont have a Wifi charger in case someone ask me for this.
Last thing, any grammar error?
EDIT and WARNING: Because this case has a ruber layer (it has two layers: the soft ruber one and the hard one), it collects dust very easy, especially when you put it in your jeans' pocket. This is no problem to me, with a fiber or tape, I can easily remove them.
I also confirm again, this case doesn't peel the corner of your screen protector off.
However, with the Ballistic one, it will peel your corner off very easily because the top and bottm of the ballistic aren't fixed. I have borrowed the Ballistic one from a friend and used it for two days, at the end of each day, I had to apply my screen protector again. If you need some images on the Ballistic one, tell me, I will do some for you.

I also got this case in white, i absolutely love it except for the fact that it's white, and gets dirty if not taken care of. Other then that, it's awesome. I don't use it now, because i have lens for my phone camera, but when I did use it, i wasn't afraid of dropping it.

I'm still waiting for the Superleggera to arrive (7-10 days). As soon as I get it I'll update what I find, compared to Ballistic Shell Gel SG.
I tried the Ballistic one from a buddy of mine but I personally did not like it. The build quality is very good with the ballistic and it feels like it's going to protect the phone well. But from day to day usability it's not very practical.
The inside silicone piece of the Ballistic is very soft/loose. It fits the phone well but without the support of the hard shell it tends to come off. That is why some people complain that the top and bottom of this case is not very fitting, since there is no hard shell support there.
The soft silicone with the protruding corners of the case sometimes gets stuck taking in/out of pant pockets.
In the YouTube reviews and the pictures by OP by the look of the Superleggera, the silicone seems stiffer than the Ballistic and the hard shell supports all four sides, hence more form fitting than the Ballistic and should not have any pocket issue.

nice review, looks nicer than the two later one i bough a few months back.

it's not just germany, any country outside the US pays around that much to get most things shipped from US amazon. Try to find it on another website.

Acase's are really good I have 1 on both my S3's and love them. I bought a Diztronic for my N4 as these were not available yet. Will be ordering 1 tomorrow.

Can anyone with this case (Acase Superleggera Nexus 4) comment on whether the case lip interferes with edge swiping (e.g. useful to switch tabs in Chrome). Thanks!

How slippery is this case? I'm assuming the hard case (outer cover) is, but not the inside tpu bit. Is that true? So can I remove the hard case and expose the tpu while setting it on an uneven surface?

Spigen Case Slim Armor

Hey Guys, i just wanna share this case,because many people has talked about the case but i dont know if anyone got one.i Have one of this, and one Neo Hybrid.
Definitly this one gives more protection but makes the phone a little bigger as well.
on everyday use, i use the Neo Hybrid,but when i know im going to a place like a club or something i know i have the possibility that my S4 drops on the floor i put the SlimArmor.

Oh wow, that indent is so deep on the camera lens and flash, it seems like trouble on the long run with dust trapped inside.

Did you just push yours into your case with the TPU and the shell already mated?
My phone doesn't stay in well and there is more of the Silver bezel showing than what I see in your pictures.

no i didnt receive it in this package, i put it there so i could show you that even the original ones fits on that package as well,because so many people get theres on that kind of package.so it makes no diference fake or original, mine broght the serial number to confirm its autentic, and a label inside the case itself to proof that was the real thing :laugh: but how can you tell if its fake or not without the numbers?i like to know those kind of things.

yes i saw in a review on youtube its better to put the phone in to the case when they already mated its easy and i can confirm that,the other way around i take more time to put it through.
im going to put some more pictures today just you to see more detail of the cover. but i guess was you didnt put the phone on the cover that is already mated that can be youre problem.mine i think is doing the job is suposed to do.very protective and still not so big,but a little bigger than the neo hybrid that is the case im loving right now.

I got this case on black last night for my black S4. Coming from Otterbox this case will not protect against decent drops as its far too thin. Its nice for low maybe 3 foot drops. My only grip is that the gloss hard Cover shows finger prints heavily. Extremely heavily. And, it's hard to wipe off even with a cloth or shirt, etc. Nice designed case though. More for looks than protection.

i think it can protect fare enough because its made of tpu material and on top of that plastic. i had on my S3 only a skin case that doesnt protect at all,it only spare me at the riscs on the camera when i put it on top of a table.so for me this one protects really well because im not planed to get my s4 fall of my hand at a great distance.its only an extra protection if im unlucky at some point. because as i told before i only use this case when i go to a club at night or to a place that is full of people. on every day use i use the Neo Hybrid that i prefered. i really like more neo Hybrid and that one protects even less but my only concern is when i put on top of a table or something to not make scratches on the back camera lens

i ordered mine directly from spigen SPG in california und it looks different.

but they send me the number, and i bought from spigen uk on amazon either way protects so its better then my slim cover that i used on S3 that cost me only 3£ so if its fake its fake,thanks anyway for let me know.

Just saw this pop up on Amazon so I ordered a smoked grey one.
I loved ringke cases on all my nexus phones. Very good quality. I have the Samsung flip cover case, generic hard plastic case from eBay, and the Incipio dualshine pro case. I prefer the wallet case right now. The hard plastic case from eBay fits great and keeps the phone super slow and sleek but provides almost no protection.
The Incipio is a tad bulky since it's dual layer protection.
I'll let u all know how the ringke is.

I went through two already the bottom left corner of both of them were warped. It fit and felt good everywhere except the bottom left ...good luck with yours.

My bottom left is warped also.. other than that case is good

Mine's expected to arrive on the 1st. Never used this company before but seems pretty slim so shouldn't add too much bulk. I don't drop my phones...seriously! My concern is scratching while sliding on a hard surface.

This Ringke case is nowhere near as good as the similar model cryatal case I have for my note 4, as you can see it only has a 3.5 star rating on Amazon. It has a feel of a $3.99 case. But right now there are only a few cases to chose from, so what can we do.

Decent case
I received my case on Saturday and I am pleasantly suprised with it. I needed a case because the UAG case I ordered has been put on back-order. I received the smoke edition and it gives my phone (black) a sleek unique look. I've read a few people had warped cases but mine was fine and provided a good snug fit. Case doesn't add bulk to phone and fits my hand well. Keep in mind it is a gel case so it wont protect the phone from a lot of drops but is an excellent case for me until my UAG case comes in. In addition it was only $12 and free 2 day shipping.

I don't know about anyone else but the top of my phone doesn't fit securely into the lip of the cover. I can literally run my thumb across the top of the case to separate it from the phone. That's means big trouble if I dropped the phone. If you get this case you still have to be wary of damage if dropped because no way it'll will stay in this case so this should be temporary until you can get a better case ASAP. Really a shame because Rearth cases are normally pretty good.

Just got mine. Very impressed. Great case. Fits tight. Highly recommended.

Love the concept and look. Got mine last week, power button doesnt line up, spen cant be pulled out inless you pull up on the case directly on top of the spen, ir blaster doesnt line up, barely holding the entire top lip. This thing is worth 2 bucks if that.
One good thing i wrote them an email and they said that i received a fluke and they sent me a new one today for free claiming it will fit better. We shall see and i hope so cause i really like it especially how nice and slim it is.

sounds like you got the same "flukey" case I got, but I didn't even bother contacting them I just chunked it in a draw and put the incipio case back on until I can find something thinner that'll actually fit to use. Maybe I'll give them a chance to redeem themselves with a replacement case.

I had a ringke case for my Note 4 and the first one was warped on one side. Clearly an issue they have. Replacement was excellent.

Quick update . Have had this case for a week now and I have no desire to order anything else except the flip wallet. Nice and tight and feels good in the hand. $13 is a good deal for this.

just received the Ringke Flex S from amazon and couldn't be happier. my son literally dropped my phone 3 secs after I put it on and it survived fine.
