[Q] bootloop after installing ANY custom ROM

Hey there,
I have an interesting problem, and it has completely stumped me for the past couple days. I recently S-Off'd my Sensation, put cwm recovery on it, and set my CID to 11111111.
I haven't had any problems with that (except that I had to change computers to do it, Revolution didn't want to run right on my laptop or set the CID, so I had to use my desktop).
Now the problem comes when I try to flash a custom ROM. The first one I tried flashing was CM7. When it booted, I got a bootloop problem of the CM7 mod logo over and over. I decided maybe it was a problem with CM7 still being in alpha. Then I tried flashing HyperSensation 1.8, and got the same error (bootloop) on the loading screen. After trying various other ROMS, I realized that it was a common problem with all custom ROMS. Luckily I had backed up the stock setup, and was able to get into that. So it's not a problem with the hardware. I have only tried flashing gingerbread ROMS. I know that ICS ROMS need a new firmware, but I dont want to mess with that unless I can actually get a gingerbread ROM working first...
Any ideas? There was a thread or two about this (on other phones) but didn't have any solutions listed..
Thanks for any ideas people can give me!

Hi,
Did you root your phone?
Did you flash the superwipe zip first?
Also are you getting full reboots with HTC splash screen then animation or just the animation looping? Sometimes I have to let mine loop for 5 minutes after first boot of new rom before it settles.

I guess I hadn't done everything.. I didn't factory reset before flashing the new ROM... As soon as I did that it boot right in. That's a bit odd to me, as I didn't have to do that with my last phone.
Anywho, solved.

[Q] New to all this. Rooted nowww?

I'm nre to all thiis
I got an HTC Inspire 4 G that i bought on eBay.
I got it unlocked
I'm not living in the US
I rooted it a day ago
Now I'm trying to put on a rom it has been unsuccessful
I've downloaded about three diff ones, none work. One actually booted up, when i went in about phone showed be 4.1 but the look of the phone looked nothing like what was in the ROM description.
I tried even getting an update from ATT which it actually now saying (after I rooted it that I do have an update), but the download stopped so it's corrupted.
So I am stuck. I just need a simple brief instruction on how I get a rom loaded oh I'm using clockworld rom.
Also when I got the other Rom loaded it didn't give me any wifi or data access.
And one the phone didn't even boot up fully it kept rebooting till putting me back to clockworld boot which (good thing I did) was able to recover from a backup I have on the SD.
thanks in advance guys

[Completed] [Q] MY HTC Pico A310e is DEAD! :X

HI all,
i almost a week ago cam to know about rooting , after a lot of hardwork i made it unlocked and rooted. now the thing is that i saw many sites for flashing roms, and they all said to make a nandroid backup ( backup made from the Android-BIOS thingy) , i did that also in case... At first i used CM 9 rom from your site, flashed it carefully while reading the instructions. I liked the idea so i flashed another one CM 10... everything worked fine until i needed to call my mother. when i called her the screen went black and the phone operator said" u have insufficient balance " This made me stressed. i tried to recover my previously made backup , and when i booted it showed me the HTC logo (without the "quietly brilliant" ) and then the HTC Logo (with "quietly brilliant" ) kept on coming again and again !
I googled this prob and they seemed to say that try flashing a custom rom like CM 9 or CM 10 , since than this is my 9th day and my phone is still stuck at the boot screen ... i tried Stock roms and custom roms ...
All this mess-up had made so frustrated that i accidently broke its screen and also bit off my SD CARD into 2 pieces...
P.S. > i need immediate help because my father doesnt know about this yet and still thinks that it is with my friend... PLZ help me !

HELP ME some one
hi i have a galaxy S3 i9300 i installed previous S5 sensation rom v8.1 it was good but a little lag. after 2 months i was bored of it so again i flash it to Stock s3 rom QS-i9300-JB. it was fast and efficient. in that time my friend show me the new version of S5 sensation rom v11 in his S3. i liked it so much so i copy the rom from him and flash it in mine with twrp recovery mode. i finished the aroma installer then i click reboot . we know that first reboot will take time so i waited it out. its gone around 1.5 hr and just that "SAMSUNG" logo. i think it was some problem when i copy it from him so i downloaded the S5 sensational rom v11 straight from here. i flash it but the same thing again the phone is not booting. i tried the older version that i have S5 sensation rom v8.1 but same problem its not booting. just that "SAMSUNG" logo.i feel so scared , then I TRIED S3 STOCK ROM QS-i9300-JB IT WORKED , IT BOOTED SUCCESSFULLY .
