Help flashing

Hi I'm new to android and this is my first android phone so basically I really don't have any idea how to flash the phone with new Rom. I just wanted to ask the help of the community to help me and instruct me on how to step by step flash my phone. I've heard that the revolution hd is the most famous one so I wanted to try it on my month old pure stock sensation. Thanks in advance XDA community.

Read THIS GUIDE from start to finish twice And use the thanks button when someone helps you <--- good way to get help

HELP REQUEST (already searched around but confused)

Hi I'm new to this forum I just received the phone today I was just wondering how do I root this phone or put a custom rom on it when I'm on the google update 4.0.3
Please help p.s. I searched around for a couple days and still confused what S-off stands for or how to get to recovery... I'm more of a samsung man.

Hello everybody I'm new to sensation 4G running a tmobile phone here in Canada
Can somebody point me to the topic of rooting and custom rims please
Also what is sense? It's functions advantages or disadvantages
Also a rom which has good battery life and is light
Appreciate all the responses

Hi,
Are you still s-on?
If so ,you should probably visit THIS GUIDE
Post if you want to root,s-off ,etc.
Everyone is different in their usage and likes,so,I cannot possibly say what will be the best ROM for you.
Experiment with both Sense,and Non-Sense ROMS.
You will quickly see which ones you like.

S is off and I don't know the difference at all between them but i'll check out the post and thanks for your response

Hi,
If you are s-off,then,you are rooted as well.
You can flash anything you like.
A word of advice,make nandroid backups BEFORE flashing.
This will get you safely,and quickly,back to a stable system,if you do not like what you have flashed...
