how to root asus tf300tg jelly bean 4.2.1(build number www_epad 10.6.2.3)?
Use motochopper - it works on myTF300TG with JB 4.2.1 and it is not necessary to unlock the bootloader.

I used motochopper and it looks like it works installs supersu and reboots but its still not rooted?
It is not working after updating to a newer version anymore. I then rooted with Kingo but be aware that XDA warned about using Kingo.

Hello, my tf300t is on 4.0.3 stock rom, rooted and unlocked bootloader, what would be the easiest way to upgrade to jelly bean? Could I just download the file from Asus and flash it via clockwork mod and redo the rockery after updates it it works? Do I need to factory reset before I flash it? Thank you

I flash the hydro JB ROM ... it works great... bit when i flashed the update 3.6 i stuck in bootloop... i flash system blob from Asus site... so i installed the cmw for ota... root the device... band after i flash again the hydro.. but i stuck again in boot loop... please... help me...
