[Q] Upcoming AT&T Phones? (Sony) - General Topics

Are there any flagship devices headed to AT&T anytime in the near future from Sony?
I've been mulling over the HTC One but the Sony Z impressed me and I was hoping to see a Sony device that may compete with the HTC One on AT&T.

Why no good Android device for AT&T?

I really like the Droid X and Droid Incredible, but they are not offered for AT&T. The only thing I could find right now that I am interested besides the apple 4G, is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Any recommendations, or inside news about upcoming models to AT&Ts lineup?
why not buy the phone and get a sim only contract?
Will the Droid X and Incredible work on AT&T's network?

[Q] Best android phone that uses SIM cards?

So my college didn't cancel my scholarship, and I have some extra money on my hand now that I want to buy a new phone with.
I have AT&T phone service, and I'm using an unlocked Xperia X1 with it.
I want to buy a new badass android preferably with a big screen, that uses SIM cards so I can use it on my AT&T network. I don't care about mechanical keyboards since I'll be using Swype, and 4G is a plus!
Suggest me some phones! gogogo!
Are there Phones that don't use SIM cards??
The HTC Thunderbolt looks all kinds of awesome and is coming soon.
CDMA phones like the Evo 4G doesn't use SIM cards.
HTC Desire Z and HD

I'm considering the HD, since it's decent.
Keep them recommendations coming!
There are a whole host of new devices coming soon, including dual core phones.
Have a look at sites like Android Community and read their coverage of the recent CES show. There were so many new high-end devices launched it makes my head spin!

[Q] Will the HTC One (M8) Or GS5 Be Best To Get For Custom ROMs From T-Mobile?

I have the Xperia Z1s and am waiting to see if the Z2 comes to T-Mobile in the next couple of months, but as much as I like the Z1s, there isn't even root for it. So next week the S5 and HTC One will be released and I'd like to keep it until the Z2 is released of some sorts in the U.S. I've read that the S5 will have a locked bootloader on T-Mobile but nothing yet about the HTC One. Any thoughts?

[Q] TMobile Z3 vs Sony Z3

Hey guys,
I am looking into getting the Sony Xperia Z3. I just have one quick question.
A while back I purchased the Xperia Z (C6602) from sony directly and I used it on tmobiles network. After purchasing the phone I found out that tmobile sold the (C6603). These phones are similar, however they do have different specs.
My main question is, is there any difference between the Xperia Z3 that tmobile is selling compared to the Xperia Z3 that is sold directly by sony? (other than the available colors)
Thank you for your help!!!

Two things primarily: The T-Mobile model has 32 GB of RAM vs. 16 GB and its bootloader is locked.

Also the T-Mobile one has LTE Band 12 which no other model has.
You mean 32gb storage, it has 3gb of ram
Tmobile version has band 12 and wifi calling.
And the T-Mobile is only in black and carrier branding...no thanks!
Sent from my Xiaomi Mi4
Reason I would reccomend, TMO version is the 14 day replacement/exchange period. I went through 3 and on 4th and possibly final one. If you buy from Sony directly you will be stuck without a device for weeks if you send it in due to defects only to probably get a refurbished one.
The TMO emblem is pretty conspicuous unlike Verizon so that should not be an issue.

I think you mean to say "inconspicuous" . Anyways I agree, looking at it, it's also a much lighter shade of gray/white than the Xperia or Sony logo, so it actually blends in quite well. There's also no T-Mobile branding on the front, which is really nice.
Hardware differences:
32GB Storage
T-Mobile Branding on back
Band 12
Software:
Bloat: http://imgur.com/oXLCzjj
Bloat not removed: wifi hotspot needs hotspot on plan, Device Unlock
Bloat that needs PM BLOCK: CarrierIQ
No bootloader unlock
I believe only the T-Mobile version has wifi calling.
You can opt out of Carrier IQ, the bloat is not so bad actually fewer than most carriers and they can all be disabled. For the extra 16GB its worth it. Only thing for you to care about is the boot-loader unlock. WiFi calling is also a plus.

HTC possibly announcing a new model/device?

Signs point towards the rumored HTC U11 Plus model. What are your thoughts users/developers?
I read that it will be china specific
