I would like to show you my rom. I created just for myself, he had to be stable Jelly Bean for everyday use.
In view of the fact that a lot of users looking rom that would be fast and low battery drain. I decided to share my Mint!

Now I will give you a "configuration" by the Mint is really rocket (ho, ho, modesty )
Performance> Processor> Manager set to smartass (gives better results in games, in normal use, leave the interactive)
Next, Performance>Memory management> zRam> 18%
Performance>Memory management> On: Allow purging of assets and Kernel samepage merging
Developer options>Window animation scale> 1x
Developer options>Transition animation scale>.5 x
Developer options>Animator duration scale>.5 x
Developer options>Background processes limit> At most 4 processes
Go to the menu and select Settings HWA> Uncheck all except:
Android System
-Holo Launcher HD (depending on the version of Launcher rom)

-Settings

I stress that this configuration which I use, I'm happy.
Dialer open in 0.53 seconds. which I think is a good result.
Of course, I recommend using Greenify.

Although the ROM is Beats eq, but I think it is unnecessary.
If you appreciate the clean, deep and mellow tone please use Noozxoide EIZO-rewire. If you are using a headset, enter the Line-Out Audio Monitor and choose interesting settings. I'm on headphones Audio Technica SJ55 use:
-On the monitor size Increase
-Effect Strength: Medium (((WOW)))
-On Deliver balanced natural
-Digital Presets [something written in katakana] set to Audiophile

Rom does not work at all on green lens. If you flash it on your defy with SOC, you get a blackscreen. In a few days will prepare a version of the green lens
I'm happy with a new rom, but is it actually usable?
I'm tired of JB roms that lag the **** out of me when I most need it.
Quarx has written that "Allow purging of assets" is causing lags and since its based on his work I think it should be disabled. Noes?
why so few comments? how is this rom? someone tested it for a few days or so?
what is its base the last epsy rom?

that is not ROM's problem! JellyX sometimes doesn't boot on defy green! just release kernel update(zip) either from kayant or quarx! that would do it!

doesnt boot for me, goes pass over the moto logo, red light then buttons give lights for few sec then turn off a few times, Ive rebooted and reinstalled just in case but no luck

defy red lense (mb526).
I installed this ROM 4x on my red lense Defy (BL7 rooted) and I can get it to boot and everything runs fine on first boot. Tried leaving everything default on a try and tried changing settings using tweaks in step 5 of OP, but once I reboot the phone it only shows Moto logo, blue led (changes to red) then a blank screen. Hopefully somebody gets it to work, looks interesting. If anybody has any ideas I'm willing to try. This Defy isn't my primary phone so I'm free to test on it has needed.

How to install (for all models):
1) Download the ROM
2) Copy the ZIP to MicroSD
3) Reboot in CWM
4) Make a Full Wipe (factory reset, mounts & storage > format /system, advanced > wipe Dalvik cache)
5) Mount /data and /system in mounts & storage (only for be sure)
6) Choose zip from sdcard, install zip from sdcard, choose the ZIP you downloaded
7) Wait then fix permissions
8) Reboot
9) Wait boot (can be long) and Enjoy!!!

wifi and bluetooth is the only problem i've got ( on my try to port it )
it's good that someone start miui v4 porting for u8160 , and nice bootscreen
if i fix something , i reply at this thread
New version this evening or tomorrow with less lag and other.
I'm also trying Wildfire miuiv4 port so... stay tuned
UPDATE: New version based on 2.7.20 in testing. Wildfire port have some problems so will be postponed

OKay, Wifi, keeps looping, Bluetooth turns on for a minute then turns back off, giving off an error.
All else works fine, great rom fast but gets buggy, Set CPU is force closing?

Turn phone off and turn it back on. Wait 30 seconds after it boots up so everything can work as its perspective and it shouldn't give off buggy results.

How to install:
Download/copy Rom to the memory card
In recovery make wipe data, wipe cache, and wipe dalvik
Select Install zip from SD card and select the file zip with Rom
Repeat wipe cache and wipe dalvik (Important!)
Reboot system now (the first run takes a few minutes)

Important information on latest version 11.06.2013::
To update the rom with previous version (09.05/03.06), in recovery enough to do wipe cache and dalvik cache. Everything including wifi should work. If some application isn't working properly, clear the application data in Settings > Applications
Rom for a few minutes after the start may a little slowly work. Wait for all processes to be loaded and then you feel the speed
For improve the working of rom, I recommend to delete file "99seeder" in the system/etc/init.d
You can do this a file manager with root privileges (eg root explorer).
When you delete the file, mandatory make restart phone.
Recommended options:
I will recommend changes clock speed CPU Clk4 at least 1100 and possibly change voltage Vsel1-Vsel3 5-10 less. These changes have practically no effect on the battery and phone noticeably better working.
To use these options, run phone again in Bootmenu > CPU Settings and set an appropriate value (eg as above). Finally, slide down and press Save. Changes will be saved permanently and will not change when you reboot the phone.

i love this rom..but the battery i notice after using for one day..android OS and media server take up too much battery..any solution? overall this rom is really smooth..fast..i really like all the features and fluidity..good job man!!
Maybe restart your phone. I think that after second charge phone battery will function normally. On my phone, battery works just like the other CM10.
Any opinions? Rom has been downloaded more than 220x and silence in the thread
Looks interesting, I've moved on from my Defy but I'll try it out as I'm quite happy using slim bean on my S3 and Nexus 7. Would be nice to breathe some new life into this phone.
Edit: Has this ROM been tested with any of the available custom kernels (i.e JellyX)?
I haven't tested custom kernels. Probably one of the older jellyx will work.
I think that no need for custom kernels because standard rom is fast.
solve my battery problem with draining the battery and recharge back...definitely a keeper..thanks taki_jeden..awesome job with the rom!!! ^_^

Just flashed this ROM. Wi-Fi reception is a bit weaker than other Quarx ROMs, and can't connect to other access points I'm used to, but lucky for me I have several access points, so not THAT big an issue. Aside from that, loving it so far, already managed to record a 2 minute video with stock camera app without the audio cutting during the recording, so depending on battery life, I'll probably stay on this ROM.
Also, very customizable. Nice work. :good:
Edit: Boot also takes a bit longer than what I'm used to, not a big issue though, just an observation. And sometimes it takes a while for my sim card to register to the network, will see how it behaves during the next few days.
Very nice rom, snappy and interactive. Only problem I'm facing is my text messages don't get delivered. It always fails please let me know if there's a solution?

SMS messages are working fine for me, but I did have this problem on one of the CM10 roms. The only fix was to wipe data/cache from custom recovery. It also might be a problem with your message service center.
Dial *+*+4636+*+*, then go to "Phone information", and scroll down to the "SMSC" and press "Resfresh". It should show a number that corresponds to your carrier. Call your carrier and confirm that that is the correct SMSC number. If it's not, ask them for the correct number, write it down in the box and press update. Not sure if you have to reboot or not, and generally this is not necessary since your phone should find the correct number automatically.
If this doesn't work, I'd wipe data and check again; that's what worked for me anyway (can't find the source right now, sorry), so you never know.

You do not have an HTC, the bootloader does not need to be unlocked!
Just flash CWM and all is done.
Doesnt Work on new Build

What is the android & kernel version of this ROM?
Is this a Kitkat 4.4 ROM or Jelly Bean 4.2 themed as Kitkat?
Its not themed basically i tried to combined 3 roms JB, Kitkat, CM11 but yes base is jelly bean and almost all features of Kitkat except Battry Drain !

Its nice rom with great battery backup...I didint even realised its JB based

Issues I faced -
After updating Google app and restarting phone...launcher not working...blank black screen appears..can not access the Homescreen or Apps
May be Google launcher stopped working
AFter updating xposed to latest version it does not work...want to use tinted status bar which requires latest version of Xposed
I had to revert back to previous ROM as I am not able to use phone due to Launcher problem after google app update
Hope you solve it ASAP...otherwise great ROM...
Must mention - Beats audio sound mod gives awesome music experience

Installation
NOTE: if you are already on an EXT4 ROM jump to step 5. If you don't know, flash stock ROM and follow ALL the steps.
(RECOMMENDED) Be on a stock ROM, installation will be cleaner, otherwise, corruptions may occur.
Download EXT4 tool, the Kernel ( You can use black reactor kernel too).
Flash on Samsung recovery (or your recovery if you are not on stock), bielt.v 's temp. CWM. Link
When you are on the Temp. CWM, flash the EXT4 Formatter tool, so the whole system will be converted to EXT4. (Stock filesystem is RFS)
After the installation, flash bielt.v 's kernel you have downloaded before.
When the Kernel is installed, go, on the CWM, to advanced --> reboot recovery (this will reboot the device, and turn it on on the new CWM of the kernel)
Wipe data, cache, and Dalvik
(IMPORTANT) Go to mounts and storage, and Make sure the system is mounted (will show unmounted) mount it 2 times or more! Otherwise, ZIP won't flash, Every time you flash a ZIP, U need to do this
Go to install zip from SD Card, choose zip from SD card and install your ROM(from downloads section) (MAKE SURE installation last more than 5 seconds, if it is less than 5 seconds, your system is unmounted! repeat step 8 ).
Bielt.v's kernel has a "bug", if you don't mount twice before installing, ZIP file won't be installed! Make sure everytime to mount system properly!

TRIED Androoster with Stock ROM 4.4-AFANEH's one(TWRP), without any tweaks
with my settings, and GOD Almighty
THE PERFORMANCE was Double of every TWEAKED rom(4.4.x) sorry but yours ALSO!

The method is SIMPLE!
if you ever downlaoded a 360p video file, you will that the Bitrate Quality is higher(for SGY), which MX player does supports ,but are laggy!
METHOD: Just download NewPipe Which ofcourse now supports 4.4(armeabi), and download videos there, it will downlaod it and will process it to a few points lower that those of OTHERS!
and be sure to Tick the Autoplay options and change th auto Resolution to 360 and FLoating to 144p.
and Video Format to 3gp!
and YEAH i almost forgot,
did u check the AURORA Store
it now also supports 4.4(armeabi), i've tried that one , and it worked!
A good app to replace PLAY store!
