[Q] Desire XS/ Problem with Google Services - HTC Desire S

Hey Guys,
today i installed Desire XS 1.1 Rom, flashed boot.img and Gapps.
When i try to open Google Play Store it closes instantly(Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped).
And whren i tro to add my Google account it also closes(Unfortunately, Google Account Manager has stopped)
How can i Fix this?
Edit:
Now i flashed Desire XS RC1 and everything works, but i would like to use XS 1.1..

Don't flash Gapps on sense roms, they're already included. And flashing other versions might mess up the system.

Damn Mate you saved my day, thank you!:good:

@galaxyfreak .. Pls press thanks.. I want my first thanks from u
"Ok Google " Keyword
Found a way to get OK GOOGLE keyword to work on pico using @galaxyfreak 's CM11:victory:
go to build prop
find the line :
ro.config.low_ram=true
change this to
ro.config.low_ram=false
Save and reboot..
If you want it in your homescreen , just set google now launcher as your default launcher..
Its that simple:victory:
Google now launcher
Google now launcher is included in full gapps.. or you can download it from somewhere else..
without the launcher you can only use the keyword when on the google now app
browser crash
the original browser even can't launch. All the app with webview carsh.
thanks
that bug are in beta5.
RC1 is great but GPS is not working.

Here are the answers:
1. As of now overclock kernel is not available for RC1 you can use cody kernel : Here
2. Apps are removed in the package so that basic services are installed in our /system partition as our /system has less space.
You can download from playstore..
3. Yes. Play services are needed as this services contains syncing services for calender, gmail etc. This services are also needed for the play store and connect your google account to google servers..
In short its very imp and indeed needed.

I think it should sync.. Open the calender app.. then in settings connect your account.. I never used it so dont know if it will work for you or not..
To flash the kernel you need to have 2 partitions.. SD ext and sd-cache.. Total 3 - fat32-ext4(SD-Data)-ext4(SD cache)(65mb)
I hope you know how to make partitions..
After making partitions only you can use this oc kernel..
If you are palnning to this..
Then take a backup of your ROM..
Partition you card..
Restore the backup.. Reboot once..
Thne flash the kernel..
I just registered to xda, rooted phone like a week ago, had no need to post since community is awesome. But, for now I can't post links. Sucks ass.
Anywhore, calendar sync..
Whore it was to get it to work. I did it. Now, what you need is surprisingly simple:
GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk
Google it, its 140KB apk and install it like any other app. With it calendar works like a charm.
BTW, galaxyfreak, awesome kitkat, looove it! Cant wait for RC2, but since it won't get on any time soon and this RC1 isn't bad at all, you will get a lapdance, my treat
Move to Kirmani's Weeklies
Since galaxyfreak has stopped his work on Kitkat, move to @kirmaniarslan's Weekly CM11..
More smooth than galaxyfreak's rom as it does not have any frame capping..
No bugs to specify..:fingers-crossed:

[Q] How to fix Google Play problem on CM11 HTC Explorer?

Hi,
So I recently installed CM11 on my HTC Explorer A310B and everything successfully works fine except for Google Play. The issue is that everytime I try to sign in I receive the message: "There was a problem communicating with Google servers......Try again later." Does anybody know of a fix for this issue? I have tried multiple GAPPS files and CM11 installations but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Sorry I can't post links as I am a new member but the Cyanogenmod 11 I installed is a unofficial release canidate from galaxyfreak's development page and the GAPPS packaged I installed was the one from the Cyanogenmod wiki.
I have also tried other GAPPS packages such as the one galaxyfreak posted on the CM11 development page but to no avail and I am now about to try the Paranoid Android GAPPS micro modular package.
Thanks.

Cheers I will try that. I had a feeling it might have something to do with Google Play Services as none of the other GAPPS are working properly as well.

Ain't you on the XDA platform?
Well if you are not then this CM12 is Android 5.0 build for the Desire HD.
As it is in its early stages, I made a gapps for it Until PA officially release it GApas for Android 5.0
play store
thanks for your work, does this alpha release has the play store and does this works on doge2 build?
great job Xdagee
thanks for the gapps package. The installation works, but the first boot assistant didnt worked right for me. He asked me for location and wlan, but not for my google account infos. So I cant get my google account infos in the phone, or is there any way to do this after the first boot assistant? Without the google account infos the gapps package is useless for me, because I cant open the playstore.

This shouldn't be in desire Hd forum
I tried a second time to install the doge 2 preview rom with the gapps, but I got the same error again.
First I have to select the Language, when I choose one I get "System UI has stopped" but after some seconds the installer runs normal to the next step. Then I have to choose my home wlan, this works too. But after I get a successful connection to the wlan the installer wants to check the connection, which takes around 2 minutes, after that it checks for updates for 3 seconds. Normally I would now be asked for my google account infos, but the installer just asks me for my name and quits after that. I think there is an error while the installer checks for an internet connection, so that the installer thinks, that there is no connection to the internet, so he doesnt ask for the google account.
I tested it two times with the same results. I even tried to create an google account afterwards via accounts, but I can only add an normal email account.

Yeah it includes the Playstore; Search and Play Service 1.8
... may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it
Hi,
Thanks for sharing this.
But, I got this warning message after download the gapps zip: "... may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it". Only dismiss button there. Not sure how to handle this. Is there any malicious apps included?
hello mate just wanted to ask a question before installing both doge and gapps , what about the android Android 5.0.1 update , will it be added for this later?

i flashed it, play store is there but it doesnt run at all, it pops up and then closes, why i'm having this weird issue?
Did the installer ask you for your Google account? It didnt works because you need a google account for playstore. I have the same problem

Quick update on Playstore not opening.
Hello guys I have been debugging on the issues you have raised prior to the upload I made. Thank God I have a solution to the problem. Hopefully I will upload a new build as soon as I get a stable connection. Whiles you wait for it. Keep in mind that this package is tested on Mustaavalkosta's CM12 Doge II builds on the Desire HD. Any other issues with regards to others device, ROM related or gapps packages should be addressed to the official PA builds or to the ROM developer.
Have a nice day & enjoy your weekend.
Best regards

Thank you for all the effort you put into this. All the issues I wrote about were on the Desire HD with the Doge 2 build. I tested a different gapps package where the installer asks for the google account informations, but after installing the first apps the playstore gets broken too. At the moment there is no gapps package that works with this doge 2 build without errrors I think.
Ps.: Maybe this thread should be under desire hd general or desire hd android development so that it is easier to find
New build works fine. Thanks!

Currently the update works fine, and it has been into packages (nano & pico).
You could try them out. Dont forget to provide feedback.
Quick Help: how can i move this thread to the requested thread
I tested the nano gapps with the Doge 3 build and now playstore works, but in the installer my phone fails to get a connection to the Google Servers, so I did it manual via account settings. The automatic reinstallation of my old apps did not work for me, maybe because I set up my Google account manual.
Thanks for your work

Creating google account fails on server error

Hello,
I just installed CM 13 (nighly build 2016-01-29) on my Galaxy S4 mini following those two threads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2364980
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...i9190-i9195-cyanogenmod-13-0-s4-mini-t3276141
I also installed the Google Apps:
http://opengapps.org/?api=6.0&variant=nano
The only thing a bit special is that my phone is a Korean version (SHV-E370K) , whereas I selected firmware for the i9195 version.
The problem I have is that I cannot create my Google account. It always fails with a message telling me it cannot connect to the Google servers and that I should try later.
I searched xdadevelopers site for such problem, but could not find any solution.
I have no problem accessing Internet with phone (wi-fi or through GSM data service).
Any idea ?
Many thanks
Marc
