I burnt the nand on my explorer some time ago and since then no sence 4a rom with oc kernal boots on my phone while with non-oc kernal every rom works fine. Can anyone tell me why is it so and how to get it fixed?
Why do you want to overclock after going through all that trouble?

I'm on the SENSEaY ROM and I really enjoy it. I flashed the new bricked kernal a couple of days ago and although it's fast it messes up my camera and a couple of other things. Anybody have a recommendation as to which kernal would be good to use with this rom. If I wanted to revert back to the stock kernal which came with the rom do I just delete the file from my SD card or how do I go about doing that?
Thanks
For bricked for things to wwork, flash camfix, and then the 1.5 kernel. Then go into manage apps, clear camera data. Everything should work

What issuea specifically are you having?

Hi,
Kernels are a personal thing, because everyone uses their phone differently.
Try a kernel for a couple of days ,and see how it works for you.
Look in the DEV Section
You have bricked, faux and sebastian to choose from...
Make a nandroid backup, wipe cache and dalvik, and flash away.
bricked

works well in any setup you want, very stable and the device has never Reboot using this kernel. 100% recommended

Hi,
That is correct.
What do you need help with?
I have tried a couple nonsense roms with a few bricked kernels but I can't get any decent speeds out of them.can anyone recommend and roms kernel set-ups.

What do you mean by "decent speeds"?
1.5 or higher preferably.

Didn't you do a nandroid backup as i told you?
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
Haha lol I did but it still shows max frequency at 1.8ghz but runs at 1.5 even if set CPU is on 1.8 I'm now on 2.1 GHz using profiles makes phone faster and also saves battery if using profiles properly butt how do I go complete to stock kernal where on quadrant it shows 1.5 without having to run ruu Just wondering but I'm lovin the kernal

what rom are you on and do you want the pure stock
some OP pages of custom roms may list it
or pull it from an ruu
or there is a stock nandroid floating around, maybe in the ruu thread, that you can extract it from
axiom has a v01s one I believe would be close to stock
running it now
check trickdroid 6.1 OP flashable script stock kernel
I'm running virtuous v09x I do not want to go back to stock everything by running ruu tbh I don't want to go back to stock kernal but atleast I have option if I want to
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
not saying run the ruu, just get kernel if possible from it or from a stock nandroid in ruu thread
but trickdroid 6.1 has one in OP
Its impossibile that you got The same kernel if you did a nandroid backup before flash The custom kernel..

I did though honestly no worries I'm liking the custom kernal and ill run ruu if I need to go back

root and get a custom rom =) overclock to 1.3ghz with cranium works gr8 on mine =)
Here's the tutorial on how to root your phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415223
and here's the custom Rom that works with Cranium Kernel (use Cranium kernel build #2) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1473218
Hope this helps.
How can cranium kernel give 1.3GHz when linux kernel 3.0.16 when overclocked to 800MHz burned the NAND chips of the developers? Also when both the kernel development are leaded by same developer?
Technically, our chipset gives maximum clocking upto 800MHz.
Simple logic : 1.3GHz is fake overclocking.

I don't know 1.3ghz is fake or not. But I saw some video about this.
But ma query is can stock rom flashble to cranium.??
Typing in swift key3 from tiny explorer with ICS
Mmm.... Will not. But, mostly should not.
Stock rom and stock kernel are made in such a way that it works balancing each other.
Ps: i haven't tried cranium due to my slow Internet.

Oic. So we can't get overlock from stock rom.
Typing in swift key3 from tiny explorer with ICS
No way. Maximum you will get is 600Mhz.
Wait... The developers are working on kernel 3 & are trying to oc it to 800MHz.
