1st thx 4 made this rom  ... its quite the only one for the ideatab but i think this is nothing new ...
ive bought my ideatab a few weeks ago ...first i thought stock rom fits my needs but ....Nooooooo ..
then for the first time in my custom-flasher-life in many rounds of google searching ..nothing ...XDA nothing (expect this post and slim) ...Oo
so ... all or nothing and flashed this rom ..its realy massive better than stock and gives more flexibility ..
there are still plans for an update?
I can imagine, of course, in this small community, the motivation is of course less ...
again thx 4 your work !!!

Just thought I should relate my experience flashing Paranoid v2.54, which I did this morning. So far, I'm very pleased. I've had the Lenovo a2109 tablet about a year, running the stock ROM all this time. I had been extremely displeased with the bugginess of the operating system and whatever web browser I've installed. Chrome, Firefox, Dolphin, etc. had been very buggy under the stock ROM. So far (I've only had time to use the tablet 2 hours since installing Paranoid), I've been using just the stock web browser and haven't had any browser stalls and sudden quits. Thanks for developing this ROM! So far, so good!
Here is something I could use guidance on: In trying to reload my apps from the Play store to the Lenovo tablet after flashing Paranoid v2.54 this morning, when I use a web browser to go to my Google Play acct., "my apps," I'm told "already installed," even though the freshly flashed tablet has NO personal apps installed. Any advice?

I know EOS has a JB rom, but is it based off the stock rom? Or is it still based off the leaked version from many weeks ago?
I had my Xoom stolen It was rooted and had the EOS rom on it.
it was OC'd to 1.4 and damn it, it ran like a dream!!!
I was given this Xoom from my dad who doesn't use it, so it was stock and it downloaded JB
How do I root this thing? and should I switch to a JB rom?
Thanks

There's some threads floating around here that give instructions on how to Root coming from stock JB, do some searching and you'll find them.
TeamEOS actually bases all of their ROMS on the Android Open Source Project codes (published by Google), although they do borrow some code from the Stock ROMs as needed.
I've been using the JB EOS nightlies for over a week now. Loving them. I was reluctant to switch from the ICS nightlies, but had to when a few apps broke after updates (Youtube, Music, etc). Plus, the Play Movies and TV app works on rooted devices on JB. Plus, EOS is working feverishly to get all the great extras from ICS onto their JB ROMS.
Im bored so im write this,

Team Eos JellyBean rom for the MZ601 With 3G, it is still a nightly but i use it as my main rom
Pros:
Simple.
The updates are great and come out almost once a week even more.
No notice on battery life.
Smooth as hell
Google currents on xoom is amazing!(Not a jellybean only feat but it just works so well..)
3G works Via a nightly and works pretty well.
Cons:
Flash isnt out on the playstore but it is out on XDA.
Some apps dont support it (i have only came across one.)
If you have a small mem card putting the gapps and updates could be troublesome..but im running 2gb Sd Card
Sometimes it seems like my wifi signal is being werid but it always comes back on after 30 seconds..
[YOUTUBEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjM990Jfims][/YOUTUBE]
Basiclly, if i was you flash it, test it and see if you like it. i did that with my sensation and used Cyanogenmod, but i didnt like the non sense aspect (just personal choice.)
I am no way affiliated with Team eos i just respect there work and love how they do it.
If you are planning to get eos jellybean, you don't have to root, just unlock the bootloader and eos ROM is rooted already...
Here is what you need to do step by step...

The fact that you are running a 2GB sd card makes me sad :crying:
Another vote for EOS 3 Jellybean nightly.
Have been using it for a few weeks and it is great.
I like the stock OTA Wi-Fi JB update...sooo snappy...

every thing looks perfect till now :good: thx for the great rom,
one suggestion though
can you include in the next release a circular battery with percentage, also a tweak to remove the google search bar on top
So far, so good.
Does this rom support tablet mode?
Nice built, thank you. I miss the navbar customization tough....could it be possible that you cherry picked it soon ?
Oh my! I just got my n7 last night and the first custom I slapped on was this. Now that I have I don't see any reason to switch.

Only issue I am having with this rom is that when the screen is unlocked and you hold the home button to go to Google Now, it brings up the recent apps menu. Any one else having that issue? Is there a known fix?
i'm very happy to see you here as well cdtdroid, since i already use your roms on my gnex. and just like on the gnex, this here is awesome. so far, everything i tried worked just fine. pretty nice to have otg support out of the box. tried severy usb sticks, and all of 'em worked. very nice work mate

have the same issue a bit lower on my screen(broken digitizer) and it can be fixed only with a new display
Screen Tile Not respondig
Having the same issue here, as described above , but it only happened like 2 weeks ago tops , like when i updated to latest Kitkat (slimKat stable 3 back then )...
Is this definitely a hardware issue or some broken code?
Been reinstalling some kitkat here, but the problem persists,...
I thought the problem was the firmware because of some post i spotted pointing at slimkat or something...
Did any of you get this problem AFTER installing slimkat or even latest TWRP (2.7.0.0) ? (i updated both kind of the same time)
I had that problem on 4.1/2/3 roms. Disappeared on kitkat, fyi.

My phone was bricked because of a design flaw somewhere in the exynos chip. Samsung wants me to pay $200 for board replacement.

The above has been posted long time ago. Just checking if there is any newer version of Android, maybe Jelly Bean 4.x being ported to the ZTE V793? I still have a pretty good condition V793 but the stock rom is v. 2.2 and there are not many APPS that can be ran on this v. 2.2ROM. I am wondering if anyone has done any ROM update for this V793? If have, could you please share the ROM? Thanks

Hi!
I bought this device few time after the release. At the time there was an official update from ASUS and I updated it. I remember that it said that there was no way to go back to the original firmware. The thing is. I unlocked my device at that time and now, after trying many different custom ROMS, there is not one that works ok. My device is slow, always hanging, it's not usable at all. My question for the experts are:
- Do I have the correct firmware, kernel, whatever installed?
- What ROM can I install that does not have these problems?

Many of the KitKat ROMs are a lot faster. I used CROMBi for a while, at it was mostly stable. You will have to unlock your bootloader and flash a TWRP 2.8
Thanks cmendonc2. The problem is that I updated the tablet itself (not the ROM) as soon as I bought it and it has been slow since that time. I don't know if I can revert to the state that was from factory. I already tried many ROM's and the slowness is always there.
Katkiss 4.4.4 plus added in Seeder.apk..
The thing screams...
I am running it next to the Nexus 10 and both are running about the same..
Only thing is the TF300T is a bit slower on the Multitasking when downloading from Play Store and or TB backup installs..
otherwise if I was to be buying one for someone, at the price they are now, plus the expandable storage options...
I would still think this was not a bad buy..
As the Nexus 10 has great specs and zooms but its developed a yellow tinge on the screen that seems to happen to a few of them after 1-2 years..
and its not like the screen is on for extended periods.. or left on.. just a production fault.. we are having a go at Google now about it.. as cant even get replacement LCD's for it..

I installed CROMBi but the problem remains. My TF300T has some other problem that began with the first official asus upgrade I made. No one knows what I'm talking about? The tablet is slow to do everything, except when inside apps.
Try to wipe internal memory from recovery and flash katkiss 5.0.1 rom. It works better than kitkat roms

Thanks xfim. I installed and it seems much more stable. I'm having problems with gapps, they don't install, don't know why but I'm going to ask in the katkiss topic.
