Razr Maxx HD Screen Issues? - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay so I purchased my new Droid Razr Maxx HD two days ago to replace my OG, and so far I'm absolutely loving it, as it's got a lot more juice and packs a much bigger punch while looking pretty sexy. My only gripe is the fact that in the screen when there's, say, a glow in front of a black background it'll show really ugly rectangles in place of the glow and shows that for some reason the phone doesn't handle blacks very well. Additionally, the battery wasn't as mind blowing as I'd hoped, but I figured it was just because it took more stuff to power the screen.
Thank you for your time

From the shine on the screen I'd have to guess capacitive touch. Pretty sweet looking. Hopefully they'll make a qwerty version a'la Diamond/Diamond Pro
HTC Touch
Very nice looking device.
I wonder how long before we get something like this with a lower power usage OLED Touch display. (or does it already exist?)

Terrible build quality.. backlight leaks everywhere! (pics included)

This has been bothering me for a while, and I just wanted to know if anyone else has this same problem.

The backlight leaks through the edges of the front of the phone, the volume rocker, and at the sides of the screen as show above. Anyone else experiencing this?
Ya mine does that also... it sucks but it doesnt bother me that much, plus you can only see it at those angles... but i feel where your comming from the touch pro is no cheap phone we all paid alot for ours
No matter how hard I try I cannot see any thing there on my device. But fellows... lets face it: this device is the most beautiful HTC device ever. And the diamond. And the new diamond. But new Touch PRO looks as uglly as a Korean car and is way too big.

selling desire for parts/broken [SOLD]

Hello
After celebrating new year I woke up in jail and my desire was damaged,it means my AMOLED screen went black since 8:00 AM for me for some unknown reasons. There is just a little web on some glass (upper glass is untouched, even protected with invisible shield xD) and its black, everything else works. I was going to use it as usually but when its black its useless....
If someone wants something just ask for it
Everything works (digitizer too...) just amoled screen wont work

[Resolved] [Q] Liquid-like "Smudge" under tablet screen (screen amoeba)

Today I got a Ployer MOMO7 Talent tablet from Pandawill.com. The tablet is great, except for a "small" problem:

}
There is a sort of liquid-like smudge under the screen. If I press hard on it, it seems to grow, and shrink back when I realease. The touchscreen itself works fine, it's mostly noticeable when it's on on pure white or black.
At first I thought it was an air bubble under the screen protector, so I took it off, but the spot is still there.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, and any sollutions? Thank you!
FIXED!
If anyone is wondering: The problem seems to have been the two pieces of glass being stuck together (the glass panel and screen?). I used a pair of suction cups to pull on the screen, and it fixed it!
Glad it was nothing serious!

Screen problem HTC One X AT&T

I've had my HTC One X since the day it came out and love it but I had a problem that turned out to be the motherboard for the phone. I fixed that by finding someone with a broken screen white version from AT&T and bought that since my screen was fine. I switched things around and gave it to my son so he could get away from a Windows phone was using. About a week ago there would be weird texture issues on the screen where the fonts looked to tear almost and then when playing games it would go to a screen of different colored pixels

. Anyway I have taken the phone apart and checked all the connections but I am at a loss and as a matter of fact the phone just sits there on the same screen all the time now so I made it worse.
Anyone with similar experience that has a better idea? Thanks.
