Hello, I am new in this forum, and I have just rooted my smartphone. The probleme comes when I want to install MIUI v5, I get stucked with fastboot.exe. Where can I get that file?
Thank you!
I believe that you can find fastboot.exe in a ROM folder, I think I used it from CM10. It was either that or from the android SDK. One of the two.

Ok so I got the lenovo s880i googlefied. All is syncing and I have cleaned all the crap from lenovo on it. Now, I have some more questions : How can I find the system APK for system languages? I wang to add some european languages. It is android 4.0.4 ICS. I installed GO desktop too, wich is a way better launcher/desktop than the crap lebovo default. How can I make it the default system launcher ? Will it work if I just place the apk in to system/app and erase the original desktop? Or should I link it to the system somehow? Then finally I would like to replace the stock phone dial module for the original ICS one. Is that possible or it's a compiled part instead of an apk?
Many thanks!!

For the system apk's why don't you try with titanium backup, it has this as a feature, it works fine (tried only twice, with no issues whatsoever )

Hey thanks to those responding ! I know already that you can do that with titanium. I prefer to do that manually though, as I alredy know the file system. Can somebody experienced with coding and more knowledge abou the system internals come five a hand here?

Hey guys currently i am using jmp v9 and it has got the sony walkman application. but i want the default music application because sony walkman application does not have the delete function
I think you cant change that. If you want the old music, switch back to v8. What device are you using?

Try deleting the Music.apk from system/app. Use a root explorer. Copy the one from v8 and delete the Music.apk from v9. Reboot your phone. That should works for you.

Hi Guys
I couldnt find anywhere so i am asking here. Is there any possibility to flash custom rom (like viper dhd, or jellybean r11) at virtual machine at my pc (windows 7/ ubuntu 13.04) or any emulator? If there is any tutorial, please send me a link. Would be grateful.
