Note
in some cases, (or new versions) just follow the route before but till /documents and try to create a new folder in order to prove it.

Ok, be gentle. It's my first try at this.
I made a couple of bootscreens and welcome screens based in two wallpapers I found while searching at google.
Hope you like it.
Feel free to comment.
Just put the file leoimg.nbh in the root of the sd card, enter bootloader mode and flash.
For the welcome screen, just copy the file well.png to the windows directory in the device.

2. copy .png file to windows directory
3. go into bootloader
The question I have is do I need to flash hardspl again?

How can I give my own image?
Could use a point in the right direction please
I have created some welcome screens and boot animations for the HTC HD2. I was wondering if there is a place i should post them where others have theirs or if i should just make my own thread. I dont want to bother anyone or make anyone mad by doing the wrong thing.
Hi dear XDA users. This is my first work for android. I made a simple apk installer for my own use and wanted to share everyone. This app is based on standart batch executables, visual basic and mortscript scripts
and combined neccesary adb tools.
With this program you can transfer apk files from your Windows PC to your phones data/app or system/app
folders. For affecting changes, I added reboot option after installition. It has ui completly so you won't
write codes on cmd screen or anything else. Only working mouse is enough
! It uses adb interface for communicating with phone. So you MUST INSTALL ADB DRIVERS on your PC.
! You MUST ENABLE ADB DEBUGING from your phone.
! For system/app installitions, you MUST HAVE ROOT PERMISSIONS in all phone models
! In HTC devices, nand protection must be removed (S-OFF)
! I strongly recommend to SELECT REBOOT option after installition.
For developers, this project is open-source. You can edit/modify it freely. But don't forget to credit
me in your work This app based windows bat, vbs and basic mortrun script files. So you can open this exe
file via an unrar app and modify via notepad.
For users, if you have suggestions or issues with it, feel free and write here

Hey Mates, Now here i'm going to tell u how to Install/Flash apps with custom recovery.........
Let we start,
There are 2 ways in which we can Install/Flash apps.
1. User Apps :- Those apps which can be removable any time.
2. System Apps:- Those apps which cannot be removed without the root permission.
Note:- It is totally yours choice to choose which package to install your apps in your device.

4.i. If you are going to install app as user then go to data/app folder, and here drag n drop ur app.
..ii. If you are going to install app as System then go to system/app folder, and here drag n drop ur app.
REMEMBER: Do Not DELETE anything! ADD APK files ONLY in the "app" folder.
5. Click OK button, Wait for the APK files you copy to get added to the archive.
6. Close the archive.
7. Rename and copy the archive to your Memory Card.
8. Boot into Custom Recovery and flash the copied zip file you just created.
9. Enjoy!!:good:
You can do many more with them than flashing apps, but for general purpose usage, this should be enough.
THis is COOLL!!! Bro
Nokia (or HMD Global) has some kind of weird place to put their bootanimation in. Normally, the bootanimation stays at /system/media, but I took a look there and everything was empty. So I did "grep -r "bootanimation.zip" /" in Terminal Emulator and turned out they put the bootanimation in /system/CDA/600ID/Power-on-animation, which I also found out that they also put the start-up sound there at /system/CDA/600ID/Power-on-sound. So here I am writing a guide on how to edit your bootanimation and maybe, turn off that start-up sound that makes everyone turns their head at you every time you turn on your device.
STEP 1: Unlock your bootloader, root your device. If you want to mod things, DIY
STEP 2: Grab a file manager that supports root (ES File Manager, Solid File Manager, etc.)
STEP 3: Go to /system/CDA/600ID/Power-on-animation (there may be two folders inside the CDA folder, one of them contains the real bootanimation and one of them contains the shortcut only) (The 600ID folder may vary on your device)
STEP 4: Manually replace it with your own bootanimation (don't flash the bootanimations via TWRP because Nokia stores it in another place, flashing zip files won't work.)
Also in the 600ID folder, you can find a folder named Power-on-sound which contains the file "02_Welcome-Sound.waw". If you want to disable start-up sound, rename it or move it to another place in case something goes wrong.
Video for better explanation:
Good luck modding your Nokia.
I have no such folder.
