I just read it in a news site
can anyone plz confirm
And that question must be in new thread?
Why dont you ask in the existent?
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda premium
You could have asked this on the Q & A Thread.. anyways I'm using the Indian firmware now and so far I didn't see any new features....
But it certainly is a bit faster than the other previous firmwares anyway....
I heard that the Chinese firmware has some new features but I'm not going to try it because some users reported that they bricked their phones by flashing it...

Hi
I wanted to downgrade my samsung galaxy S2 from WKI4 (2.3.4) to a lower firmware possibly the first ones released i.e. XWKDD, XWKE1 or XWKE2. Anything below 2.3.4 even 2.3.3 will be fine.
BUT as i'm a new user I can't request these on the "[ROM+Guide]Official i9100 Firmwares" by intratech and the links on that thread or currently dead.
So please can someone give me a live link for any of them official firmwares as I don't want any dodgey links that might brick my phone.
Thanks

Jelly Bean wasn't OFFICIALLY released for i9070 So it is first official news about it.
Actually it has to be a complete fixed international update date.
OMG.. so this firmware we've been using for about a month is a "leaked" firmware? And developers on XDA are making custom roms using this firmware..??

P.S. To me this JB is perfectly fine now. But lets hope Sammy will make it as he should.
And one more think, it has been released to Russia. And heve you seen any russian here on xda in our forum that has phone?

Leaked it or not...anyway it was rolled out by samsung without any notifications and supported by kies for future fixes. Even Russian off. web doesn't mention about it in a support tab. It is a test stage. OS debugging on device per country is more comfortable, than receive international bug reports with similar contents and filtrate it (by language for ex.) in fixing process. Russia has the worst mobile network coverage in country zone so I think it is the main and best reason to debug device in these conditions. (A lot of russian users are complained about network problems on Galaxy S Advance).

Could you tell which ROM uses? and Kernel ...
I'm about to downgrade and would like to try one last time.
You could share as experienced user.
I would also like to say that the JB STOCK ROM that Samsung has presented is at least good.
For now the word is frustrating. You use begins to like and suddenly something strange happens.
What a surprise, I9070P not in the list!

This may be a really noob/stupid question, but flashing another kernel increases binary counter right?

No, only flashing custom roms or rooting your phone (not all methods) will increase the binary counter.

This is not completly true. Only flashing custom kernel with Odin will increase binary counter. And maybe custom firmware, but one root method use firmware with su file integrated, and it do not increase bc. So for us now, only flashing custom kernel with odin increase it. And there is no Odin flashable kernel files for JB now on xda. And ecerything you install without Odin will not increase bc.

Most people have know heard of the Jelly Bean update for the GT-P6200 which should be released today (22/02/13) but does this include the Wi-fi Version (GT-P6210) or will we have to wait even longer for this update to come out?

Works great! Flashed with Odin. After confirming everything seemed to work fine, I reflashed clockwork Mod and Superuser zip. I am now rooted again and working fine...
I flashed this via mobile Odin and got a bootloop. I had to reflash via pc Odin and everything is fine. Jellybean is way smoother than ics.

Is there anything else I could do? There is no jelly bean update for Australia yet.. Any official roms o. For 10.1" tab2 of jellybean... Would going to jelly bean even help with lag??

Stuff waiting for official Aussie updates, there hasn't been one since they came out in 2012.
Go to Samfirmware.com and download the latest JB 4.1.2 Netherlands version and install it with Odin 1.85
It has English Australia settings on it and its official so it doesn't increase your modded firmware counter.

Yes you could do that or you could just keep an eye on Samfirmware.com and install the latest rom of your choice from wherever you choose.
I usually stick with the European ones as they always have English Australia language.
