[Q]Installing on MicroSD? - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.. again.
I have had three tablets until now, and the one before my tf101 had the ability to install on microSD card. I was wondering if there is any Custom ROM that has this option? I have bought a 16GB microSD card especially for my TF101. Or, is there any app or any way i can use my SD card as my internal storage as I have done with my 1st tablet?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can use a 64gb sd card in it as long as it is a sdxc. The one thing i will note however is that the xoom won't format it directly (recovery might, but i never could get ics to format the bloody thing.) You will probably have to use another phone, or a pc(which has additional complications) to format it.

Micro SD card for game data?

Is it possible to use the Micro SD card in the tablet like how you could on GIngerbread android phones? Meaning you can move apps onto it and download game data onto it? Is this possible for non rooted users?
Thanks for any help

Thanks i'll give it a try. thanks again
I am using the Tsunami X ROM and created a custom flashable boot.img that does this at boot time with no scripting. It can be flashed from recovery, but it is only for this ROM. If you could not solve your problem with the script and you switch over to TsunamiX I can give you the ZIP that will do the trick

Selecting storage devices

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was an option or method to having everything that is installed on my phone be installed to the external sd card? My internal fills up too quick. Thanks in advance!

I bought a 16gb tf300t with a 32gb micro SD thinking i would move some apps to Micro SD!
But it won't work every app : link2sd, app2sd say it's incompatible
Any fix?

Pretty sure cromi works with it, but ive never done it
Why do you need to move apps to SD? You have 16GB of space .......
not anymore, i only have 1gb left

What all apps? You can move music, movies, pictures to the card fine. I don't think apps2sd works on jb 4.2.1. The built in one should work - no? Try moving from settings - apps
