This script will make your phone faster and smoother, i tested it and it worked for me on my Ace 2
This fixes bad memory management on our JB
Full totorial is HERE, it is little messy so i made this for some less experienced users.
All credits goes to Zeppelinrox
Requirements:
1. Rooted Device with custom ROM (Italian Job or Kyrillos for Ace 2)
2. Script manager (You can also use terminal emulator or ADB shell)
3. Busybox over 1.16.2 (included in Italian Job and Kyrillos)
Installation:
1. Download latest script from this page
Note: To download script : Right Click ---> Save as
2. Transfer it to your /sdcard (or anywhere else)
3. There are 3 ways to open script :
a) Using Script Manager
Open Script manager and locate script, press it and give root acces ( su icon , turns green when you press it ) and press run
b) Using Terminal Emulator
To run this script in terminal emulator you have to write following lines
Code:
su
sh /sdcard/V6*
c) Via ADB
In cosole write :
Code:
adb shell
su
sh /sdcard/V6*
Note: if you put script in other folder you need to write it etc. if you have folder named supercharger on internal memoy and you put script there you have to write:
Code:
su
sh /sdcard/supercharger/V6*
4. Than all you need to do is follow instructions when you run script, everything is fully explained.
5. Reboot when you finish
At this point skip to step 9. if you are running GB!
Continue for JB
When you finish this all you will not be able to supercharge 100% because we need to mod services.jar file.
Here is what to do next:
6. Download Ultimatic Jar Patcher from THIS thread (Ultimatic_Jar_Patcher_Tools_RC6_ALL_DEX_ALL_OSes_NO_FLASH.zip)
7. Turn on USB debugging ( Developer options > under Debugging check USB debugging ) and Run Supercharger V6 on your phone
8. Connect phone to PC and run Ultimatic Jar Patcher ( Extract attached file and run ultimatic_run_patcher_adb.bat) and follow instruction. Again is everything fully eyplained when you run it.
9. Run SuperClean and Reboot.
10. Using script manager navigate to /data/99supercharger.sh and select "run as root" ( su icon ) , and "Start on boot"
Note: To test if script runs after reboot open supercharger v6 script and see info under the menu
11. YOU HAVE SUPERCHARGED ANDROID DEVICE! Now it depends on you what settings will you use. Hope i helped
If you have any problems ask here or contact me via pm.

I AM NOT RESPONSABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THIS ALTHOUGH

Hi, many thanks for a prompt kernel release!
Just to clarify, by undervolting does this in theory/pratice produce better battery life given less voltages are being used?
Some say it does but there are a lot of factors but in some intances the voltage can afferct the power use :-D
i know that neither a yes/no but its how these thigs are :-D

It is relatively simple as long as you can read and follow instructions well, if you feel uncomfortable flashing the ENG Hboot image, then don't do it.

Hei friends this my second post on chinies karbonn A1+
Today im gonna show u show go back Stock rom
or
unbrick Karbonn A1+
And i hve made 2 parts Here 1. stock rom 2.stock rom rooted
So 1st how to get back to stock rom
lets start
fashing software: http://dc391.4shared.com/download/j...Tool_Latest.rar?tsid=20130515-043612-6c2b7d49
S/w link for New H/W version : 2.0.2 : http://www.sendspace.com/file/2b5snn
S/w link for Old H/W version : 2.0.3: http://www.sendspace.com/file/qch6va
How to flash:
select flashfile in flasher
power off set
stat ...connect cable.....and press power on
PART 2
So, let me try to explain the outcome of my work and how to flash the ROM into this device.
First of all, I want to say thanks to pogodancer for his help in my investigation and for providing me the software for flashing the device, as I couldn't get any version to work.
So, getting to the point, I have created 2 versions of the firmware:
Standard Stock ROM - Rooted
This is mostly a copy of the stock rom of the device with the following changes:
- SU binaries included
- SuperUser app added
As the ROM is rooted, you can now mount as RW the /system folder and change anything you want.
Link to the firmware:http://199.91.152.132/78ww1kb2rncg/4x9ra4y3e53isjf/6820_2.3.5_c910_hteng_s5_en_4.0_v01_Root.zip
Modded Stock ROM - Rooted
This is a modified version of the rom I have done to clean the device from unwanted and chinese software and to add some missing apps. Details are:
- SU binaries included
- SuperUser app added
- Ayu_Sales.apk (CAIVS) application removed
- Go Keyboard (and all its language plugins) removed
- Default Launchers (there were 2) and theme removed.
- ADW Launcher added
- GMail added
- Google Talk added
- Gallery3D substituted by Cool 3D Gallery
And that should be all.
Link to firmware:http://199.91.152.49/yseacg4cwdkg/8i3soi585vjvyfh/6820_2.3.5_c910_hteng_s5_en_4.0_v01_Mod.zip
Now, for the flashing software, the link to get it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?o9km8vl287ev24j
Instructions for flashing, from pogodancer, are:
Quote:
0. Be sure to have installed the correct drivers. For my SC6820-device I see 5 items in Win7-32bit-device-manager (ADB-Composite, 2 x COM-ports, 2 x USB devices: all without exclamation marks). You can use the drivers from the package folder "SCI-android-usb-driver-jungo-v4-.rar".
1. Disable just in case your Win7 firewall.
2. Launch "ChannelServer.exe" from package folder "CHANNELSERVER" and allow firewall if asked.
3. Start "ResearchDownload.exe" from package folder "ResearchDownload".
4. In ResearchDownload-application chose firmware with first button (for me: 6820_2.3.5_c910_hteng_s5_en_4.0_v01.pac).
5. Be sure that the Baudrate from Win7-Device-Manager-Comports-Settings in CHANNELSERVER equals the Baudrate-settings in ResearchDownload-Settings (second button). I recommend 115.200.
6. Press the Start (Play) button in ResearchDownload-application (third button).
7. Turn off the phone.
8. Keep holding the "- volume" key.
9. Without releasing the button "- volume" plug the usb-cord from phone to Win7 (install the driver if not done before in step 0).
10. The process of firmware-burning should start now in ResearchDownload-application and take approximately 1 Minute. You can release the Vol.Button once it starts.
11. Wait until the firmware-flashing has been finished (A green sign appeares + "Passed" is written in ResearchDownload-application).
12. Remove the battery, wait 20 seconds. Put battery back and turn on the phone (first boot may take a while but not more than 5 minutes).
Please note that I have flashed the phone it in a Windows XP virtualbox machine and I realized I didn't need the CHANNELSERVER application, so I went directly to step 3.
Cheers.
And my last post is coming soon ics for Karbonn A1+
After im moving to Sony Xperia Sp fourm
See u soon.........Bye:angel:

Which firmware do u want us to use?? The ones which have been provided at the top of the post or the ones which a below. Also there are 2 places where you've mentioned the process. The first one is very small while the second is longer. Need some help please.
TWRP 3.1.0.0 with FIsH for our FLEX 2
Tested on h955 and it's still a BETA
Requirements
Here are the pre-requirements you have to met!
If you can't get them: Close this page and FORGET it (until the day you met those reqs)!
Here are the 2 simple requirements you have to met:
1. root by SuperSU >=v2.76 (greater or equal v2.76)
--> to test this requirement just start the installer of FIsH with --check (see next lines) which will check for all requirements and abort if its not possible
--> for many devices - if not all - this means you HAVE TO downgrade/install LL. It also means that you have to upgrade your SuperSU to this version by e.g. FlashFire if you have a lower version installed!
--> SU by phh is NOT supported => It needs a modified /boot and this would void the boot signing chain!
--> Magisk is NOT supported => It needs a modified /boot and this would void the boot signing chain!
--> I will NOT provide downgrading guides there are plenty of them so search and read.
--> I will NOT provide any guides in rooting your device
--> Before you think about downgrading to LL read about ANTI-ROLLBACK protection some devices and may have! Anti-Rollback means you CAN NOT downgrade - it would HARD-BRICK your device (wtf thinking the vendors who we are?? Is this even legal?!)! Check that before!!
2. you have to be able to disable SELinux in your booted Android
--> You do NOT need to set SELinux permanently to permissive. Just CHECK if you COULD get it MANUALLY. If you can get it OK. If not.. you obviously have not full root access but check the forums maybe there is something you can do about this.
--> I will NOT provide any guides enabling SELinux but some lines later you will see how u can execute the very simple check
--> to test this requirement just start the installer of FIsH with --check (see next lines) which will check for all requirements and abort if its not possible
Those above are hard facts so it may NEVER work with MM. Google has changed the way on how the boot chain will be verified and that means changes in /system will void it from now on.
If MM can get fully rooted somehow/somewhen on your device with SuperSU installed and you are able to disable SELinux the method will work there as well.
If you can not meet ALL of the above 2 requirements lay down and cry.
For the others: calm down and read on!
You can simply test those both requirements by downloading the FIsH package and execute the installer with the following test parameter:
./install.sh --check
This way nothing get installed but you will see if it would work on your device or not.
Limitations!
Keep in mind what I said above: FIsH does NOT unlock your bootloader!
That means with TWRP-in-FIsH you can NOT:
Install a custom ROM like CM/Lineage (this will modify boot = SOFT-BRICK)
Install a custom Kernel (this will modify boot = SOFT-BRICK)
Install a custom recovery (this will modify recovery = may SOFT-BRICK)
In short: do nothing which modifies boot or recovery partitions. Those changes will BREAK your boot signing chain.
You can of course flash everything which is modifying /system /data only (e.g. xposed, Audio mods, etc...)
You're able to backup and restore as well of course and doing any other modifications which you may can't while the Android system is running.
Download
READ THE REQUIREMENTS above before proceeding!
Then UNDERSTAND the requirements before proceeding! <-- omg this is crucial important!!!! Ensure that you really do not skip this step!
READ THE LIMITATIONS above before proceeding!
Then UNDERSTAND the limitations before proceeding! <-- omg this is crucial important!!!! Ensure that you really do not skip this step!
... and NEVER ask for ETA's!
if you can say:
Yes! I have read and totally understood the limitations AND the requirements!
then proceed. Otherwise read again until you got it.
Keep in mind that this is a HACK. It may soft-brick your device. you have been warned!
The concept is the same for all models but again no guarantees here for anything.
There is ALWAYS a risk and you should better backup what you do not want to loose before starting downloading this.
Download
Installation (Linux)
You can just install any newer version over an old one.
boot Android and connect USB cable
download the newest version to your PC and open a terminal in that directory
tar xzf TWRP-in-FIsH*.tgz
cd android_FIsH
./install.sh
check the output of that script. you should not see any errors there (hopefully)
Installation (Windows)
use FWUL or be patient.. maybe i or someone else release an installer... maybe...
First run (no PC required)
This FIsH gets installed PERMANENTLY! That means:
You can boot up TWRP the same way as described here again without re-installing.
If you re-install your STOCK image you have to re-install TWRPinFIsH as well.
reboot Android
you should now see: LED goes from blue to GREEN
NOW directly when u see this GREEN LED press VOLUME DOWN and do NOT release
wait until the device vibrates and the LED changed to RED. Then release the Volume Down button.
Wait until FIsH completed and TWRP should be shown --> This means FIsH has done it's job well!
This is a good time to do a full backup isn't it ? Manually mount the SYSTEM partition as it gets not auto mounted atm and do a full backup
reboot from here (safely ignore the msg "no OS installed" and reboot anyways) and you should see Android booting (hopefully ... if not see bottom)
Daily Usage (no PC required)
reboot Android
you should now see: LED goes from blue to GREEN
NOW directly when u see this GREEN LED press VOLUME DOWN and do NOT release
wait until the device vibrates and the LED changed to RED. Then release the Volume Down button.
Wait until FIsH completed and TWRP should be shown --> This means FIsH is doing it's job still very well
AGAIN: keep your mind up! You HAVE to ensure that whatever you do and whatever you flash -> NEVER TOUCH BOOT/RECOVERY! If you flash a ZIP ensure first that it do not modify them! Otherwise you WILL softbrick. You have been warned (several times now)
Trouble / Bootloop fix
if you encounter a bootloop (should never happen but who knows) you have 3 choices at least:
Option 1a: (TWRP-Bootloop) Within TWRP open Advanced -> File Manager -> Goto: /system/su.d and click "select" button -> Delete
Option 1b: (TWRP-Bootloop) From your PC: adb shell rm -rf /system/su.d/
Important: Catch the fish log (see next topic)
Option 2 (this works also for a bootloop without twrp): boot into download mode and use LGLaf to get a shell
then:
setenforce 0 <-- if that doesn't work you may have to do a FULL restore to stock
mount -oremount,rw /system
rm -rf /system/su.d/
reboot. You are out of the bootloop.
Important: Catch the fish log (see next topic)
Option 3: Last resort: Reflash STOCK. sorry.. there is always a risk..
Catch the FIsH logs
when in TWRP (or other ramdisk providing adb shell):
adb shell "cat /cache/fish/fish.log"
adb shell "cat /tmp/recovery.log"
OR - when in Android:
adb shell "su -c cat /cache/fish/fish.log"
adb shell "su -c cat /cache/fish/fish.log.old"
adb shell "su -c tar cvzf recoverylogs.tgz /cache/recovery"
adb pull recoverylogs.tgz
Upload the output to https://paste.omnirom.org and paste the link in the IRC channel (see next topic)
Support / IRC Channel
IRC means Internet Relay Chat and you will get best support here only.
Choose how to get in:
PC (HexChat and Pidgin are only 2 of them! This list is not complete!)
Android (Yaaic, AndChat, HoloIRC, AndroIRC are only a few of them! This list is not complete!)
Web (KiwiIRC-Web,FreenodeWebchat])
When you have to choose a channel it is: #Carbon-user
When you will be asked for a server network choose: freenode
Known issues (may never get fixed)
Due to the fact that FIsH is a BRUTAL hijack of the booting process several things may not work as expected.
This will normally not harm anything but you have to know about.
ZIP / ROM flashing:
omg really you wanna hear that again? OK: DON'T TOUCH BOOT / RECOVERY. And you be safe.
When you try to install a ROM it will modify at least BOOT. That means soft-brick!
When you try to install a custom Kernel.. omg really? It will definitively SOFT-BRICK! Maybe you should read the limitations again??
When you try to install a ZIP like xposed, supersu, Vipermod and others ensure that those are not modifying BOOT or RECOVERY partitions. For those mentioned it would be very unlikely but who knows.
FIRMWARE partition:
cannot be mounted - even not manually. You have to live with it.
Double Tap to wakeup (in TWRP):
Unfortunately this cannot work in TWRP-in-FIsH due to the nature of this hijack. You have to live with it.
Credits (without them - no FIsH!!!)
If you feel that someone / you is missing on this list lemme know!
Chainfire for SuperSU! This is the main part of FIsH.
TeamWin for TWRP

SteadfasterX is developing some stuff... so maybe on day we will have a possibility to use full custom roms.
But for now we have a custom recovery
If someone is willing to cook something interesting that can work with not touching the boot or recovery partitions... then well I would call it a custom rom
In theory it should work on a H950PR? So I can at least test it

Works like a charm on my H950. Thanks! The only issue is TWRP booting time, but it's should be right that, if I understand correctly.
Thank you!
ORIGINAL THREAD HERE: https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/2-15-2017-axon-7-msm-8996-cpu-vm-ram-t3557392
This mod was originally created for the Axon 7, but due to several requests, I've modified a version for the G5, please see below, and post questions or comments in the original thread above. Please state you are a G5 user if you have feedback in that thread, to consolidate user feedback and speed up response time.
Custom tuning for a device is always a necessity. "Canned" settings will get you by, but they are certainly never optimized for a specific device. In fact, Linux typically takes a general approach to find harmonic balance in default settings that will, for the most part, work in an acceptable manner for just about any device. There are a lot of resources available on this device, so we should utilize it in a manner appropriate to squeeze out as much battery life and performance as possible without sacrificing much of those outputs, don't you think? This is going to fix that for you.
Here is what is required of you before you begin:
1. Must be rooted
2. Must have the G5 OR a device running the Snapdragon 820, as this modification is not so much device specific, but hardware specific. The important aspect being the snapdragon 820 and the RAM disk size.
3. Must have write protection disabled. If the G5 requires write protection to be disabled, see the code and instruction below:
Using adb shell:
Code:
adb reboot disemmcwp
Using Linux terminal (from your phone, for example):
Code:
reboot disemmcwp
Let's begin.
Getting right to it, here's what I've done:
- modified parameters of the interactive governor, and quite extensively at that (search some of my threads if you want a little bit of a breakdown of the general approach I take)
- reconfigured input_boost parameters
- reconfigured vm parameters (again, the device has a lot of RAM resource, this will utilize it and give you a far better user experience. Basically, I've adjusted dirty_ratio, dirty_background_ratio, swappiness, and other parameters of the virtual machine.)
- disabled zRAM for 6 GB variants (RAM compression, again, not needed on this device really, this mod will save you CPU cycles and power) this will not apply to G5 users, you will still have zRAM enabled.
- remapped minfree parameters for LMK (low memory killer) again only for 6 GB variants
- Tuned CFQ scheduler for flash storage devices
- Tuned "core_ctl" module (needs kernel support, I recommend freeza's latest version of BeastMode. For those wondering, yes, you can still use this mod with the stock kernel. It won't break anything.) again this will only apply to devices that support core_ctl at the kernel.
In a nutshell, that's what we're looking at here. I can guarantee you this will have a significantly positive impact on your device. Turbo time, homies.
How to install????
Easy. First, the file we are replacing is found in /system/etc... it is the "init.qcom.post_boot.sh" file - this file is basically shell scripts, which are applied at boot via this particular shell file.
All you have to do is download the file to your device, open up a file explorer (must have root capability), navigate to the /system/etc folder with said file explorer, mount your /system as RW (read write), delete your stock "init.qcom.post_boot.sh" file, and replace it with mine.
After you've successfully done this, change the new file's permissions to rw-r--r-- (0644), and then reboot!
Or, if you are brave, you can do it manually via a terminal app and get your fingers wet... if you choose to do that, see below:
Make sure the file is located on the root of your internal sdcard in /sdcard, open your terminal app (again, must have root) and type the following commands, hitting enter after each one (be careful to pay attention to the spacing).
Code:
su
Code:
cd /
Code:
mount -o remount,rw /system
Code:
cd /system/etc
Code:
rm init.qcom.post_boot.sh
Code:
cd /sdcard
Code:
mv init.qcom.post_boot.sh /system/etc
Code:
chmod 0644 /system/etc/init.qcom.post_boot.sh
I don't want credit, don't need you to give or offer donations, this is purely for the community in the spirit of Linux ideology. All I ask is for you to hit the thanks button :good:
That's pretty much it, guys. Enjoy!

Any pro can do a flashable zip?

How to mount System as R/W? When I set permission I get error evice is busy
Worked like a charm using Fulmics Rom 2.0.
Hint for some who have issues with mounting RW: Use FX file explorer for this. Works just fine.
Will monitor and report how it works.
My Problem. I go to /system/etc and I can´t find this file. I´m on Root with FX file Manager. What am I doing wrong?
I don't believe I have seen this on the G7 forums so I figured I would make a quick guide for anyone whom is unfamiliar with the subject. RCTD is LGs Root Checking Tool that is triggered when the bootloader is unlocked as well as when BusyBox is installed, and is known to drastically affect the performance of the device after root. This is primarily seen in the V30 forums, but I assume it affects the performance of the G7 as well. There are tools to remove it as well as a script by John Fawkes, however from what I could tell, neither of them applied to the G7. It's a pretty simple process I recommend using root explorer and Zacaree1's Root Activity Launcher(play store). There are other ways to get to the hidden menu but if you have deleted the stock dialer or have any other issues, this app will always get you there and it has a massive amount of other great uses as well and I believe any root user should have it installed.
Step 1: Open Root Explorer and head to Product/Priv-app/SRTC and delete the app. This won't stop the process from starting however because LG uses an init.d script to run the tool at boot, leading to step 2.
Step 2: Head to System/Etc/Init and find
"lge.system.services.rc" long press on it to open it with text editor (if using Root Explorer) and scroll down until you see #RCT (Root Checking Tool). Under this line you will see a list of 3 or 4 commands. To stop them from running we want to put a # in front of each and save our changes. Example:
#service rctd /sbin/rctd
# class late_start
# user root
# group root
# seclabel u:r:rctd:s0
Now we've stopped the tool from running at start up, but it will still have the last time root was detected stored in the system. First, reboot to be sure that the edit survived a restart, and if it did then head to step 3.
Step 3: Head to Mnt/Vendor/Persist-LG/RTC and delete the file inside the RTC folder. If you delete the entire RTC folder, it will be recreated at reboot so it's pointless. Save and Reboot.
Step 4: Open the Root Activity Launcher app and type "Hidden" in the search box. This will lead you to the hidden menu activity (not operator hidden menu), so click on it to expand the list. Scroll down pretty far until you see "com.lge.hiddenmenu.HiddenMenu." You can click the icon that looks like a paperclip and it will pin the shortcut to your hidden menu to your home screen if you'd like, otherwise just click on the main line to open the Hidden menu, click SVC Mode and find LG RCT. If you did everything correctly, once you click LG RCT it should show Status-disabled. It will stay disabled regardless of a reboot. Other models like the V30 need additional init.d commands to be disabled. The G7 has these same init.d scripts, but for whatever reason we only needed to stop one of them. Done!
Attachments wouldn't load
Ty mate!!!
One question, i can do all these steps with magisk on stock? Would be reverted the changes at reboot?

You should be able to. I'm still stock, ULM20e Pie. What file manager are you using? That's strange that you can't to your vendor file. Is vendor accessible to you in TWRP?

Since None of my photos will load, check this post in the v40 threads to make sure your init.d script was edited with correctly.

Awesome! I was getting a bit concerned for a moment while trying to think of why it hasn't worked for the others yet. Do you have LDB removed as well? I removed it so long ago that I forgot about it until I came across it in the V40 threads. I don't think it could interfere with this process, but I am trying to rule out anything that may be an issue for the others.

steps:
1-Open ur bootloader
2-root and install magisk
3-flash xD-Kernel 1.7-Stock from drive folder (other stock folder) in TWRP and reboot to system https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MEFt7Ma2DOw8h7d_HjfyLN64Hnqz2bOo/view?usp=sharing credits to @Smart Ru
4a-poweroff
4b-go Qfil and extract ur boot_a or boot_b partition
5-extract Android image kitchen folder and put ur boot.img inside. https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=5024495&d=1590190159 credits to @osm0sis
6-run unpack script
7-paste the files i provided inside ramdisk folder and replace it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HTT-0nm-y6tib_T1VQrws0EMreWia_Us/view?usp=sharing
8-go back and run repack script
9-pick the new image file and flash it on boot_a and boot_b by fastboot or qfil
10-dont care about error message at startup of android, it appears anyways with xd-kernel-1.7-stock kernel without modifications on every boot. It appears due to kernel kills dummy lg process from startup (2.0.2-custom doesnot)
11-download spectrum.
12-done.

Max/min gpu.freq = 710mhz/160mhz (710mhz is stock top speed)

Yeah, I always get " there is an internal problem with your device" message on startup. That's normal. Spectrum never worked on 1.7 for me and neither did Klapse, but 2.0 fixed that for me.
