Then can't MMX request alps how ever many chinese manufacturers make there kernels and ROMs by alps and they release sources right the why not mmx

I feel most of these so called new ROMs either s4 or miui based are just cut and paste jobs hence buggy . Only someone like varun chitre can help us. But I guess he has moved on . Only a modified and optimal kernel will help us in a truly great ROM . That's the main reason I stick to stock ROM .

Dear All,
This is neither a ROM nor a MOD of BOND1987. Its only a helping hand to all developers who were earlier trying to port 4.2.1 ROM to our device.
I found this ROM through our colleagues on the XDA Forum of our device @a_swed & @icoolguy1995.
So I downloaded it, unpacked it with Android Kitchen and then I was amazed that its really a 4.2.1 ROM for MT6577 Device by AMOI N821 Device,having all specifications same as Micromax Canvas 2- A110.
So I de-odexed it.
I am here zipping the full de-odexed ROM + the original boot.img on Dev-Host. If any Dev need more files do leave a post here and the same will be provided within hours or a day.
To Users :-
Don't even think of flashing it. It's only RAW files with a Meta-INF folder inside.
To Developers :-
Don't worry All of you Sir. I verified everything that need to be verified for obtaining the reallity that Its 4.2.2.
I decompiled few apps also and all have

In the first line.
Further prrofs are attached here as print screen of Android Kitchen De-odexing the System -app + framework and denoting it with the API of 17.
As I don't know anything related to the ROM Development so uploaded here so that talented Devs can have a look. I am only a themer and that also not so good. So please understand my situation. I promise that your data will not be wasted.
So now please Devs its time for you to put effort to bring us the 4.2 ROM for our device as we are eagerly waiting for this.
I really appreciate the efforts laid by all of the developers of this & every device forum. Hope to see some good ROMs based on the 4.2.2 for MT6577 Devices.
And To Moderators :- I am extremely sorry if I had broken any rule of the forum. I didn't got good idea for posting it anywhere so posted this in the android development forum.I am sorry for this.

I am unable to control my self to test this ROM..
yes it is working on MMX a110. once again thanks to bond you did a great job.
after getting some errors.. I sit throughout night.. finally able to boot..
initial review of ROM
- it is pure 4.2.1 jelly bean (not 4.2.2)
- everything is working perfect (but some tests needed)
please give me one or two days time I will make this ROM fully bug less...

Iam here to inform about the first ever source built kernel which has been released by @tri_zet for our A110,i hope Our wait is over so far the kernel has the following features but as also @varun.chitre15 who has been our only hope in the kernel compilation is working hard for future kernel builds so we can hope for some more thunderzap version kernels.so finally we have got a working source built kernel im sure that our device will become more powerful and tweakable with these kernel builds but iam not sure whether we will have cyanogenmod or not,as @superdragonpt already got his cm9 to boot im sure this kernel builds will help him and our devs includes @Dark4Droid @BOND1987 @khan_frd2002 @bsuhas @mufti.arfan and many more hard working devs in more ways.

Dude RIL has got nothing to do with kernel. RIL sources are supposed to be in Android source not kernel source.

Edit:Swapper2 is working perfectly.
How to flash custom kernel :
1 wipe /CACHE
2 wipe DALVIK-CACHE
3 flash zip
4 fix permissions
5 reboot
For swapping :
download Swapper for Root from playstore :

recommended swap size : 128
check active swap on boot.
For overclock:
Clock is set to 1.2Ghz by default...
If you wish to underclock or change governor... use No-frills CPU control from playstore :

and for 4.2... I donno brothers... Base of this ROM is ZTE V970, and the official release of lewa os 5 for the device is based on 4.1.2...

The kernel used in roms like lewa and miui is different from stock kernel.To make them work in These roms these kernel need to be modded.If no kernel is provided with the rom u can install the kernel from mufti.aryan's lewa thread.

The kernel used in roms like lewa and miui is different from stock kernel.To make them work in These roms these kernel need to be modded.If no kernel is provided with the rom u can install the kernel from mufti.aryan's lewa thread.

First of all thank you and I know about the kernel modding thing,I just wanted someone or the @op to do it since I don't know about the modding.Please help it would be really great if thunderzap would work on this rom,also I'm facing play store 'no connection' issue,can anyone solve it?
