It appears the wiimote app doesn't work fir sense phones.
But does flar's kernel allow you to connect the old snes controller to it? And what cable do you need?
Anyone doing this with success?
i think the wiimote will work, but i am not sure about the snes controller..if i recall, the wiimotes uses bluetooth..i also think you can use a dualshock 3 controller
I don't believe wiimote is supported. Could be wrong.
For snes, you'd need the snes to usb connector and then an otg cable, I believe
I think it'd just be easier to get a PS3 controller hooked up, personally.
I don't know about as a general input device, but I have no problems connecting my wiimote to SNES9x. How are you trying to connect it?

hmmm didn't know that was possible! Cool!
Did you select HTC_IME mode? I have not tried the app because I'm running 4.2.2 aosp.

Hi, im on my phone right now so I can't really look as well as if I had my laptop, but I wanted to know if it is possible to for the evo to display a screen of just a keyboard and use that as a bluetooth keyboard to use on ps3 or if there is something that does that already can someone point it out? Thanks
Or maybe even use the evo as a mic

I would be more interested in using a PS3 controller with the Evo like on the n900
http://gizmodo.com/5464531/use-a-sixaxis-controller-to-play-emulated-games-on-your-nokia-n900
but this could be useful too
Yeah i would definitely like the ps3 controller on my evo but i would really like to use my phone as a keyboard so when i play online or use the web i wont have to connect my usb keyboard to the console. Anyone?

So there is nothing on this? Seems like it would have to work, maybe bluetooth?
Is there an app out there that would allow me to plug my android into my JVC USB car radio. I works fine if I plug in a iphone. I have to use the AUX cable. Trying to make it look nicer.

That would certainly be an awesome app, since most car stereos/head units only natively recognize iOS products through USB. I haven't heard of such an app unfortunately.
I have an aftermarket radio and i use an aux cable for mine.

It doesn't unfortunately. I've tried this a few times and haven't had any luck with it. Sucks cause I have a bunch of music on my Inspire that I would like to use.

I've gotten it to work many times. Maybe it depends on what car radio you have?

playing music from android thru USB
On my aftermarket Sony I just have to mount the sd, (it even asks me if i want to) I haven't don't it for a while but you might be right that the ipod/iphone just connects, but you want an app that saves you that step then get programing
It works on my Kenwood. It just uses my phone like a mass storage device. I can play music and even movies on my head unit.
Apparently they made wii remotes compatible now.

Awesome!
Does not surprise me. Sixaxis controller now uses bluetooth connection method 1; while on GB wiimotes did not work and ps3 controllers were connecting on method 2.
Grab wiimote controller from the market.

Please could you elaborate on how you got this to work?
I downloaded wiimote controller from the appstore, but it still asks me for the pin#, and so won't pair the wiimote.
I'm on a SGS2, what are you on?
Does it matter which rom I have? I think I'm using LP7, running ICS 4.0.3
Thanks in advance!
Any way to connect a ps3 remote and play GTA without buying any apps to do so ?
Try sixaxis, costs about $1,50. Use the free compatibility check app first. Not going to work without a controller ui/app

I was thinking something more like some commands in the terminal emulator. ?
I think there are also certain drivers needed here.

Same as a plug-in. You need one for the xbox pad to work so might the same for ps3 pad.
ps3 doesnt need a plug-in if you connect through BT.
xbox controllers needs it cause they can only be connected through USB.
