So i been trying to get youtube to work for some time now and it just will not play on what so ever.
I originaly ran into this problem after trying to install pacman rom so i could try the paranoid settings out but then youtube would load and i can see the video thumbnails but when i click a video i see a loading wheel in the middle and then BAMM my phone freezes i cant even press lock screen button nothing happens.
i tried to leave it for a while see if it would load and after around 5 mins my phone (at the back at the side of the cameras where the sim goes) was so hot i couldnt actually hold it for more than a few seconds. i took the battery out for a few mins let it cool down and tried again no success...
things i have already tried and roms i tried also..
CM10 (all nightlies)
JellyBam (Both sable versions)
PACman (The one posted on this forum in dev section)
I have tried to use all varies of DPI from my own 106 tablet to default to paranoid 720px mod
i have tried modified youtube apps. (inverted colors +720p mod)
i have tried to format my.. system/data/cache/factory reset and install each of the above roms fresh.
i tried to remove youtube and install it from market several times
tried to just unpack it change one image repack it and install still nothing
i really love youtube and i just want it to work on my phone again.
if you need any more info ill happily supply it.
AND SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH I AM ENGLISH BUT I AM ILL AND JUST WOKE UP
If i am right, youtube is using a lot of you're ram space.Its just a guess but maybe you can check it?

and how do i check that lol?
Try tapping(touching the screen) constantly on the video (while it's loading) until it starts playing. It's a workaround a lot of us use in the latest cm nightly.

Well kernel fixed YouTube now camera bugged out phone crashes when opening camera from app draw but camera loads from locksecreen left swipe

Some times it works from the app draw now but still bugging out on me.
Maybe I just use lock screen link till a more stable ROMs out there.

Anyone else having this issue?
It's happening more often then not. I start up my camera if I take pic w/o flash it works as described. I turn on my flash and when I take pic I c flash on, but at that instance it shuts off and reboots. It's not taken the picture because it's not in my gallery.
Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to re flash the ROM but I guess if that's what I have to do I will.
Mind you when I had ICS or gingerbread no issues like that.

You must be using an ancient version of aosp jb because I only had that issue in the early days of cm10 alphas and nightlies. Backup and update to the latest on get.cm and your issues should go away

3 days ago my phone was ok.
i download and install cm 10 beta 2 by invendor. in that rom my all apps are minimizing automatically. i thought this is a bug of this rom .
than i go back to my previous rom cm 10 alpha 6 . after that i notice that this problem is still here.
than i restore stock rom by cwm.
still i am having this problem.
plese help me guys this is very annoying..
i cant using my phone at all.
help me guys what should i do..

Try having a check on the Home button. If its kinda jammed then whatever you open, it will get minimized. When I had my old Samsung phone, I encountered with this issue at a time, and when I pressed the Home button slightly hard and then released, then it started to work normally.

alright, but i am going to need to one click back to stock first since it wont go any further than the SGS4G boot loader screen.
EDIT: Ok so I had to one click back to stock. I then installed Beastmode's CM10.1 which had CWM 6 on it. Flashed the Aries CM 10.1 and it booted ok.

I feel like this ROM is taking a little longer then usual to install.
Upgrading from CM7 CWM 5. Been on the "installing update..." with about 80% done for about 10 minutes now.
I've never had this happen before.
Did a factory reset before upgrading.

FYI, make sure that you upgrade from CM9 to CM10 then to CM10.1... If you start from CM7 you can have serious problems, especially of your only on CWM 5... You should be on CWM 6.
It still may work, but its highly unlikely...

Try flashing an android version on 4.x.x

You must be on at least an ICS rom.
I actually got tired of waiting and pulled the battery. Turned the phone back on expecting to be f'd. To my surprise I was booting into CM10.1 Aries,
Not sure what went wrong but all seems OK so far.
Is anyone else having WiFi authentication problems? It won't work on my device...

Seems to be working for me.
When you say Device Settings are not working, does that mean everything in the 4.2.2 Device category in System Settings (Sound, Display, Storage, Battery, Apps, and Advanced), or just the SGS4G Settings under Advanced?
Before I update, does Adobe Flash works or not (if I reinstalled it)?!

As long as you are on ICS or JB you can flash away.
Sorry, but I gotta ask, tv out & wifi calling? Jk

I flashed from beanstock (TWRP) and got hung at the bootloader. I had to 1click to stock, get on CM 10.1 (CWM 6). Then flash Aries CM 10.1.
It looks like you need to flash from CWM 6.

Hi,
Got an issue with my TF300T. Upgraded to ICS, rooted etc... everything fine but when the tablet wakes up the screen often (random) freezes...
Sometimes I have to restart without real success. I found out that when using the sensor to swith to portrait than back to landscape unfreezes it.
I use ADW but same issue with ICS launcher.
I have 70mb free on system partition.
Any ideas what could case this ? it seems that the tablet is in overflow when waking up (or starting up) then needs some time to clean up.... or the CPU that cannot handle the Wake up...
When in a game, it does not get stuck, only when returning to desktop...
Help please !!!

Thanx for answer I deactivated the auto brightness and it seems to work fine now... strange...
