Well i wanted to develop some Roms from scratch! so i decided to get hold of VirtualBox abd Ubuntu!
I downloaded virtualBox 4.2.6 and Went to their site downloaded
Ubuntu 10.4 VDI
After Starting the VDI i am getting stuck at this window.
Cant run it..Help me guys?

What do You mean by "stuck"? It seems that You downloaded server version of Ubuntu 12.04.2 which doesn't have any GUI installed by default (I assume that this is the problem).
Just like ximian said. Server version does not come with GUI.
You can still install it with command: sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
Or download desktop version.

i tried to install kali linux through linux deploy. everything was right when i started the download but after the download is finished and i reconfigure than all things fail like l (dns...fail,mtab....fail,motd....fail,hosts...fail,hostname...fail,timezone..fail,su...fail,chroot:cant execute apt_get no such file
sudo....fail,groups...fail and etc than when i start vnc viewer it shows some error what should i do please help

I want to install just linux firmware official and kernel and run it as a PC linux.

Hi, AFAIK that won't work at all. A generic distro and Linux kernel doesn't have the device specific drivers. But i've heard about some apps that can emulate some Linux distros live on a running Android device. (like a VM)
so there isn't a native alternative?
