I have a Problem with sending SMS from my Android.
If i send an SMS less than 160 Chars. all is ok.
If the SMS is longer, only the first part of the SMS arrive...and on my android comes an error that SMS could not be send...
I know that there are Codes like *LONG# *LAST# But they don't work... or why the SMS don't arrives???

SmsManager sms = SmsManager.getDefault();
sms.sendTextMessage(phoneNumber, null, message, sentPI, deliveredPI);
its working fine and successfully send a standard sms that is automatically saved in recipient mobile inbox.
i want send the sms as flash(notification) sms by this,that message should be displayed immediately on recipient mobile screen but not stored.
please tell me how can i do this.

Hey guy
use whozzat apk.
it allow Daily 100 flash sms and normal sms free.
just sign in with facebook id.

Try this application, i found labelled Flash SMS from my old collection, I have not tried
please tell me what function or api use for this.
I'm also interested to have a app to send flash sms (class 0 sms). The above app does not work in my HTC desire (miui rom)

Dear all,
original samsung s2 was unable to send sms more than 10 contacts, so i found out some of the custom rom like VK was written "Mms.apk no MMS auto-conversion -200 contacts per SMS ", so i try to install it...after that, i found out it was still the same, unable to send more than 10 contacts, how to solve this?...
p/s: i know that some app can solve it, like handcent or Go sms Pro can did it, but i hope that those custom rom are built in with that feature so i won't install so many apps, battery of my s2 won't drain that much.

hi guys! i have a korean optimus 2x phone (codename SU660). in Korean each sms has length of 80 symbols (may be they use unicode for encoding Korean text). so when i send text messages in English, even when using 3rd party apps like Go SMS or Handcent my sms is limited at 80 symbols. if i compose a longer one, the reciever will only recieve the first 80 symbols of the message. i only can send a 160-symbol message which will cost me double the fee. i tried deleting the stock messaging app by titannium backup but Go SMS still can send sms. so i think there is something in charge of sending messages in android. do u knows what it is? can i modify it or replace with another one from other rom?
First i can send sms using the default app called contacts, but when i try to change my default app from then settings, from Setting> more..> default sms app i choose hangouts or go sms pro but the apps cant succesfully send sms. in order to send sms in my phone, i have to set the default app again to contacts, i can send sms perfectly but its too lag/ unsmooth when typing a message unlike hangouts and go sms pro thats why im eager to change the sms app... from the settings i also tried to clear defaults but nothing change.
i am using alcatel onetouch flash plus, android 4.4 , updated to the latest version. my old smartphone 4.1.2 can send sms using different apps without the need to set it as default app unlike this one that requires to be set as deafult to send sms. do you know how to change my sms app? i am rooted.
