[Theme] Custom TWRP Themes - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Ive been wanting a little more color when I booted into twrp to flash something so I decided to make my own themes. I didn't know if anyone else felt the same as me so I decided to post some of mine here.
Prerequisites
Twrp 2.4.4.0 or older.
A folder under TWRP on your sdcard called "Theme"
Directions.
1 Rename the zip you download to ui.zip
2 Copy the ui.zip to the "Theme" folder under "TWRP" on your sdcard.
3. Either reboot to recovery or go to advanced/reload theme to see your new theme.
I have not found a good way to get a picture of the themes yet. If anybody knows of a good way then I would appreciate it if they would let me know

Looking for this Circle Battery

Hi, I'm a long time reader, but first time poster. I was hoping someone could help me with this. I'm running a stock deodexed rom and i've changed my battery icons and several others so far, but i'm looking for this exact set of battery icons that I can install through recovery. I'm not sure how to go about making these icons into a zip file to install through recovery or I would do it. Is it possible for someone to make these into icons I can install or else point me to where I can find the file to install? Thanks!
Maybe I could give you a little tutorial? I have manually changed lots of icons in my framework like this. But I started with Jericks smooth sense icons framework, You might need a modified framework to start with and this is a good one because the most modified part of it is the battery. I would pull your framework as instructed below and make sure the appropriate files are there first.
1. Nandroid!
2. Use your file explorer and navigate to system/framework and copy the framework-res.apk to your sd card and then to your computer.
3. Use 7-zip to open it up and navigate to res/drawable-hdpi-v4
4. If you see in this folder all of the same files as in the zip you posted? Then you may proceed by deleting all of those files from your existing framework and then copying the new battery icons into the folder in their place. When you exit from the apk it will ask it you want to update it, do so.
5. Go to this site http://circle.glx.nl/ and select flashable zip only, upload your newly modified framework-res.apk, select next to upload and create your new zip which you can download.
6. Place on sd card and flash through recovery.
Thank you so much! This looks a lot easier now that you explained it. I really appreciate the help!

I sent you a PM on Droid Forums, but I'll post it here too. This is the smooth sense icons with the blue circle battery that you wanted. Make a backup first. Let me know if you have any problems.
You can get it here.

Does this work on ifused v2.0
sent from my Infused goodness
Yea it does, it is what I am running it on. If you want to install it just follow these steps.
Make sure you back up your framework-res.apk, systemUI.apk, and twframework-res.apk. Just copy them to your computer, sd card, or whatever you choose. You can find these apk in system/framework folder and the other in system/app folder using root explorer or es explorer. This is just a safety precaution so that you have the original files. I have already installed two different uot kitchen zip files and not had any problems.
Put zip file onto your sd card.
Boot into recovery. (CWM)
Go to advanced- and clear dalvik cache (just in case).
Go back and choose install zip from sd card.
Let it run its course and then choose reboot after it installs.
Why is it say 3g
NightMare Infuse
No idea..it was the icon package I used. It is in there...why it isn't showing up is beyond me. I'll look into it.
how do you disable the theme?

Just reflash your current ROM on top of your setup without wiping anything to get back to stock.

CM theme engine bootanimation

Hi, I've a (probably silly) question. I'm using the last paranoid version for nexus 5. I'd like to change the bootanimation but only have the bootloader.zip (not the apk for theme engine). I tried to put the zip in system/media but it doesn't work, on boot I get a plain "android" text.
Anybody knows how to solve? Thanks in advance
You mean bootanimation.zip, right? Putting a zip file of a bootloader isn't going to do anything. If it's a custom made that you did yourself, make sure when compressing it to a zip file, you select 'store' as opposed to 'normal' for the compression level or it will show the stock Android BA that you're seeing. You can't just install the apk of the theme and open theme engine and only select bootanimation?
Ops, my bad. Yes, I meant bootanimation.zip
The animation is an already made one which I downloaded from an xda thread, there is only the zip version, not the apk unfortunately
Thanks for the advice about the compression, I'll try to extract and compress it again
Thank you very much, it worked!!! :good:
Glad I could help.
You can find some bootanimation in apk format here which you can apply via theme chooser.

[MOD][THEME] Pardus 7.7 calssic icon border remover dark theme (Flex)

MOD ICON BORDER REMOVER FOR FLEX THEME
Hi,
UNTESTED Looking for testers. please!
This flashable ZIP should remove the black border icons of the Flex Theme.
I used to have Pardus ROM installed but not anymore so cannot test it on my machine.
I have extracted the icons and install ZIP from CloudyFlex and just relocated them for the MultiHome_Theme_Z_v1.apk in Pardus.
It will only change the icons, there is nothing else in this flashable ZIP (you can check).
Please don't test this if you are unsure how to get back to your original settings. I am not responsible for damaging your phone (it really shouldn't unless you do something really wrong yourself).
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. make a copy of /data/app/MultiHome_Theme_Z_v1.apk and keep it somewhere safe.
2. if you have space on your phone and more time then do a full nandroid backup but the above step 1 should get you back in case this does not work.
3. reboot to recovery
4. flash the ZIP file
5. reboot to system
To restore previous theme, just copy your original MultiHome_Theme_Z_v1.apk back to /data/app and change the permissions. Then reboot.
Should work on old variants.
Could someone please test it and report?
Thanks!

Twrp themes

Looking for a way to threme TWRP? There are a lots of beautiful themes for TWRP that you can download and install. And it is really easy to do.
(Before you begin, there are always risks associated with modifying, flashing, using recovery, etc. You take those risks willingly - no one else is responsible for issues that result from your actions. In other words, don't blame me or the developers who created these themes if something bad happens)
Here is where I found the theme I selected:View attachment 3455584
There are quite a few options that are built into this theme - much more than just a theme. I highly encourage you to read the threads I linked to thoroughly to learn how it works and what options you have - it is very cool. My main purpose for using this (and posting it here) was to change the look from the standard TWRP design to something more updated and fresh, but I soon learned it offered much more.

You will want to look for the Themes made for 1440 x 2560.
There are screen shots and a ton of options for you to choose from
Installation:
Download the theme you want -
rename the theme zip "ui" without the quotation marks
using a file explorer, Create a folder called "themes" without the quotation marks, in SD/TWRP and put the ui.zip file into that folder
If there is already a folder called themes - just copy and past the ui.zip into that folder.
If there is already a ui.zip in the folder, rename it uibackup.zip then put the new ui.zip file into that folder.
Boot into recovery and enjoy your new theme
Be sure to thank the designer who created the theme you choose for their handiwork. I am just the messenger, they are the ones that deserve your gratitude, they did all the real work.
I think most or all of the 1440 x 2560 themes will work, but if you have issues, just reboot your phone and delete the theme file from the TWRP folder you installed it in.
Good Luck -hope this helps you in some way.
