Current firmware? - Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G

Out of curiosity, what is the latest current firmware for these blaze 4g's? I only rooted for jelly bean, and nightlies is really buggy, and if these have jelly bean, I might go back to stock

There are more ROMs that have jelly bean and are stable..

The cm nighlys are very stable.lol
Also any jb ROM we have is based off of cm, so if there's a problem with cm, there's gonna be issues with the others.
Could you explain "buggy" a bit more? Exactly what issue(s) are you having?

Jelly Bean for our xooms?

Galaxy Nexus has just got unofficial build of Jelly Bean...maybe it is time to abort ICS and try to compile some Jelly Beans roms for xoom? It looks like jelly bean is much smoother than ics...so please make some JB roms.... I think EOS roms are perfect and it would be great to have a 4.1 EOS rom...sorry for my bad english...i'm still learning.
Source code for Jelly Bean hasn't been released. It's expected in mid July.
Expect a rom for your device anywhere from a couple days to a couple months after this date, depending on vacation plans of the devs and the complexity of the merges.

Nexus S: Cyanogenmod 7.2 or Stock

Alright the situation is i got a newish phone and plan on giving my nexus S to my parents, right now its running the nightly. I want to be sure they have something stable. So i am looking at either switching it to Cyanogenmod 7.2 or the stock rom. I have heard that they have released 4.1 stock rom for Nexus S, I have not seen it if anyone has a link please comment with it.
My parents are not tech savy but they need a better phone. So Stock or Cyanogen?
The JB Android 4.1 update is very stable. Set them up with that by following the steps given in our nexus s forums. Good luck!

I would recommend Jelly Bean 4.1.1 Stock. Should be totally sufficient + they get to have Google Now
I recommend on CM9.0 RC-2, which is stable and up to date
h ttp://get.cm/?device=crespo&type=RC
I would use a cym 9 rc2 because everything pretty much works and its really fast with the matr1x kernel. It also has great battery life with just enough customization.

I would use the Stock Stock JB Update or the cm9 RC2, but not cm7.2
definitely stock JB. You can download for Widgetsoid 2.x for notification toggles and a battery % widget, and they're set! JB is really feature rich and awesome!
For 4.1 JB I was looking around for a guide for Nexus S 4.1 rooted. My version is I9020XXJK8. I gave seen a few guides but not that many links for the actual zip of JB 4.1. Also how do you update CWM?

Try this. If you have JB then just do the bottom part (superuser, clockworkmod, etc.)

Newbie help

Hi!
Iam new to android world using a samsung S i897.
I want to install JB and found the slim rom in this (awesom) forum.
The slim version of android is a part of it? What Im missing? There are features that where left out?
Iam confuse on which are oficial versions and how obtain them and which are mods or custom versions. Exist a ICS official rom for my phone? Is better upgrade to that version or the JB slim rom?
Thanks!!!
None of the Galaxy S series of phones are getting official ICS, let alone JB.
So anything for your phone that's ICS or Jellybean is unofficial.
And you should use Slim JB because its waaay better than stock GB and has no bloat, along with performance boosts. Heck, any custom ROM is better than official versions (aside from the usual bugs when they are in early development).

CM9
You may want to look at CyanogenMod 9.. or wait around for a CyanogenMod 10
Google it, I can't post links yet..
You can wait (stable) custom jelly bean version if that appear as it is the most recent android version.

The captivate has good jb ROMs such as hellybean or slim bean as you said. But these guys are right, there will never be any ICS or JB official updates for it because its an outdated phone much like the vibrant or original i9000. The closest you get to stock would be slim bean or slim ICS.

Serch normal JB Rom and flash that. Or ICS if you will not find normal stable JB.
Thanks!!
I will try that.

Jelly Bean unofficial or official what is everyone using

Just wondering what most are using the unofficial or official Jelly Bean rom?
I have read through the forums and have tried both and having issues
like most with sound, gps, camera.
I know that with the release internationally of jb tomorrow hopefully
some good news will come. I have been finding myself flashing back to ics
synergy after trying a few days to make jb my daily driver.
Just good to hear what others are running far as jb.

Recommendation from 4.1.2?

I am on CM 4.1.2 and it is really slow. I was hoping to resurrect this and use again. Any leanings between CM 11, TeamEOS, and OmniROM? All are 4.4.4 and I will go bigpart. Any particularly snappier or more stable than another?
Thank you for any comments.
I use stock 4.1.2 and it is very smooth.
