my xperia j got doesn't show anything in gallery but all video, pic was there in my memory card and it happend after upgrade to jelly bean.

Yes, it appears to be a problem XJ JB. I think has something to do to the media scanner. For now, you can just downgrade back to ICS.

When can we expect JellyBean 4.2 for Sony Live with Walkman...m currently on CM10 FXP 146 and have heard that there won't be any 4.2 for 2011 Xperia phones...will there be any other CustomROM which will deliver 4.2 for 2011Xperia?
I guess since your phone is from 2012 range
FXP would provide 4.2 Jb for this cell....ie CM 10.1
If the changes are not major, it could come very soon or else it would take some time

Actually jellybean is better optimized than gingerbread so cm10 should be more powerful.

I want to have CM 7.2 Gingerbread for my Xperia J, too. I formerly had a Xperia Ray, which is very similar .... and CM 7.2 is still so much faster on this old device... than any JB on the banrdnew J. Any suggesstions what it needs to backport?
Can't I just take the stock JB kernel with the CM7.2 image from the ray?
No you cannot because the hardware is extremely different. It's like trying to run a J ROM on my arc.
And correct me if I'm wrong but the reason you all can't build GB is because you have no sources from Sony.

Not exactly. Timescape is one thing. Socialife is a totally new app. Same idea, very different approach.
Friends this will only works with jelly bean.... And if you are non-Xperia users you need edit more things in build.prop

You could try recompiling the apk and see change the target sdk and minimum sdk to 15 and see if it works

Most probably Xperia J will remain at Android 4.1. Sony never update budget phones beyond.

I just have a simple and fast question... I know I can install CM10 on JB but every tut i find is on 11.2.A.0.28 or something like that, I wanna know if there will be no problem with installing CM10 on My Xperia J 4.1.2 JB (11.0.2.A.0.31). If so can i use this guide and files ??
