I had this prob yesterdqy,,
You need to flash the original stock rom before you can flash another rom..
Flash the "S5670XXKPI" stock with ODIN,, after that, your SGFit will be fine... You can flash other rom qfter you flash the original rom..
Good Luck!..

I installed stock ROM S5670XWKTI. After, I installed CWM. Via CWM I can install customize ROM, but I do not want a custom ROM than the stock ROM. All custom ROM have bugs. For me the most stable stock ROM. For example. for me on the CWM not work mount / system, cash, etc.
Yesterday I tried on stock ROM install 14 toggles Galaxy Fit , but before that the CWM has to go to mount / system that does not work for me.
You cant mount system via cwm on stock rom because to mount system, it must be ext4 witch is not in stock rom.
Sent from my GT-S5670 using Tapatalk
Dude, the CWM by Tj style is for the ext4 system... and the stock rom is RFS..
You should flash the CWM by Vish coz it support the RFS system , not the Tj style vers..
Cmiiw..

you guys CAN install CWM v5 by tj_style in stock ROM, but it CANNOT backup stock ROM wich is RFS, if u on stock ROM and then install cwm v5 via odin and u can directly flash custom ROM via CWM

[SOLVED] [Q] installing add-ons for Endymion v3.5

could some one help me out how to use Endymion v3.5 add-ons

You have to flash the zip in recovery like you did the ROM. Once done you will see the themes in the theme manager tab of Endy control.

1. If you are flsahing the ROM for the first time after a full wipe, just flash Endymion_V3.5_addons.zip immediately after flashing the Endymion_V3.5_base_release.zip. Flash it just like you would flash any other zip from recovery.
2. If you have already installed Endymion 3.5 and started using it without the addons package, take a nandroid backup, boot into recovery, wipe dalvik and cache, then flash the Endymion_V3.5_addons.zip. Flash it just like you would flash any other zip from recovery.

Hi....
I am not from here.... Am from dhd section...
I got a galaxy R......
So I would have some questions regarding flashing and ROMs....
1. Can someone suggest some stable ics ROMs? ? Most of the ics ROMs are inactive now..... So I can't choose any...
2. Can I install 4 ext recovery?
It's simple and touch recovery too...
3. If I can't change cmw recovery what are things I should format before flashing a rom.... And where can I find the options I mean under which category in recovery...
All I see is factory reset and format cache...
Thanks in advance...

yes, you need to wipe all things first (i.e. data, system & Caches) & Then flash ICS Stock ROM first coz of stability issues.

yes,
follow these steps.
0. copy zip file of Rom, Gapps(if required by rom), Ardatdat's kernel into your sdcard
1. wipe data/factory reset(along with dalvik cache)
2. flash stock firmware using odin (probably you'll experience boot loop)
3. flash CWM using odin
4. flash Ardatdat's kernel
5. perform factory reset(along with dalvik cache)
6. flash rom and gapps
Done..!

what happens if i skip the flashing stock step...i mean if i flash directly from jellybeer to the frankenstains mod by only doing factory reset and wiping caches ?????
And wiping caches and factory reset will do everything? Don't we have to wipe system and other things.?
And I don't like touch wiz... So can u please suggest a stable ics rom that runs without touch wiz?
I checked cyanogen... But no stable rc releases for this device.....
Thanks in advance...

Yes, above steps are just to be on safe side. You can install frankenstains mod after factory reset and wiping dalvik caches and skip mentioned step..
I thought you wanted stock ics.
AFAIK there isnt any stable custom ics rom. for stable rom you need to adjust with touchwiz only.
You can always install a custom launcher, like Nova or Apex which give a pure AOSP feel.

after flashing CWM (say v4.0.0.2) you will get an option "install zip from sdcard" in recovery mode(hope you know the key combination to enter into recovery mode) click on it and browse to the directory in which you kept kernel and rom
click on zip file of kernel and flash it
same way install rom.
hope you are clear now..
