Make Weather Widget (Donate) transparent. (needs root)
Push the attached images to /data/data/com.androidapps.widget.weather2/files/skin/
Note: If you dont want the flip clock transparent dont push flip_clock_bg.png
Make sure you back up your originals.

Theres no .apk for metamorph to inject files into, just copy the images in teh attached zip to the location specified
sorry,dont quite follow.new to some of this.update.zip...no proble.metamorph...newly discovered....getting used to it.what you just wrote...no clue

1.Download the zip file and extract it to a folder on your desktop.
2. copy the images from the extracted folder to the location in /data mentioned in the OP. Overwrite the non-transparent ones that are already there.
Use adb, android commander, a file manager etc to copy them.
3. Re-add the widget to your screen
This app supports Skins, why not make it into one so those that have this app can download it and install it that way?

A. I like the default skin. Just needed a transparent background.
B. A full skin would need a lot more work

hi i m new to this editing themes so plz anybody can guide me to edit
touchwiz launcher for custom Message,Contact, Phone icon..
tried to use singApk, Apktool to edit no luck
launcher has icons in drawable-hdpiv4 folder in res folder i put custom those icons naming ic_launcher_phone.png singed with singApk also Apktool both are giving 'appliction not installed' error.

press long on the icon and then choose custom icon and search for your icone that you need
icon can be changed using desktop visualizer app but
that icon cant be placed on Dock Bar

I've been trying to tweak a MIUI Lockscreen theme and from a few examples I've spotter a lockscreen folder that has all the components and an .xml-file. But the one that closest resembles what I want from my lockscreen only has a lockscreen-file with no extension.
How do I open this file?
Right-O. So I just installed 7zip and it shows the lockscreen as a folder as it correctly should. WinRar seems to **** it up somehow.

For editing mtz files, you must set the compression rate to store in winrar otherwise the app can't read it.

I have tried to copy ClockPackage.apk I downloaded from this site somewhere into /system/app but it does not show after reboot. Which APK contains clock widget and which APK contains alarm appliaction?

Did you set the right permission for the clock app after you paste it in system/app..??

Yes I set it to 777.
YES! I have fixed it by extracting system.img from the exact same FG8 2.3.1 ROM and just copying QsWidgetHtcClock.apk back to /system/app. The .odex was still there. No reboot required and the clock widget works like new! )
I anyone requires I can post any system app here or whole ROM.
i got zooper widget installed. and i downloaded some themes in a zip file that contains .zw files. i dont know how to install these themes.. how do i install zooper themes?
Loading templates from file is a pro only feature. When you create a widget in pro you can select files from SD card
