I'm sure the developer doesn't mean any harm. Hopefully he'll be able to explain why. I'm not a dev, yet all I know is that a lot of apps that enable you to share things on facebook and other sharing sites, like to have access to your accounts. Maybe this is why this app wants access too?
Either way, I think it's a fantastic app. If only I could wind back the clock by 3,5 years so I could start making pics from the day my son was born

In the Play store it states that it will backup your project to your Google Drive account. This would be why the app needs access to accounts.
There seems to be a bug with recent CM10.1 builds and this app. It worked fine before, but now whenever I take a pic it just freezes on the camera screen (although the app itself is still responsive) it doesn't proceed to the preview screen to confirm the pic. However I noticed this only happens when my face is actually in the middle of the image. If I take a pic of something else it goes on to the preview screen just fine.
This makes me think it's something to do with the "slow and buggy" face detection, but I get the same results whether it's turned on or off.
Any ideas?
Great App!
Just became a dad 2 months ago and I love this app. However, it will only create an SD video. If I try to go 720 or 1080 it gives an error something like "failed to create video, try changing video settings".
I have tried a few different video settings to no avail. Has anyone got any ideas?

1. Launch the app
2. once you have the interface running, pretend you are receiving a phone call, and it's your show time.

3. then, aim your target with the camera of the phone, and :
"Huh, terrible signal" (pretend you lost the signal)
4. click "End Call", you have the picture now!
5. Go to the sdcard to check your images

well I'm glad you fixed it...I refunded it anyways, just wanted to give it a shot...should have the option for it to emulate the call screen of the device in use...

I use blacorder. Only problem is video recording isnt full res.
Will try this app when it has video. I will say I like the call screen.
Another one I used awhile ago had an internet page as the screen.
Not just for spying btw. Some people get camera shy but some moments of hilarity cant wait for there shyness to go away.
Also a good way to record a possible incident in public without looking like your filming a youtube documentary.
how bout a black screen n making the phone vibrate when taking the picture with the trackball.

important info:
please make sure that the phone is not connected with computer. app cannot access sdcard when the card is mounted as a usb device.

It has come to my attention to all the dislike comments on the YouTube android app in the marketplace and somewhat on this forum. After countless problems in the app ( stops, freezes, crashes etc) I decided to take charge of this situation. Instead of blasting the developers of the app, I decided to help them... With that said I have created a video explaining the problem I'm personally having with the application, also I took it a step further and created a web-based form with a series of questions. This is was all done 3 days ago and believe or not the YouTube team has responded to me and thanked me for my work. They also wanted me to send the data I collected from my form. So by filling out the form from the link below, I'll be able to send it to them and they can access the problem.
So what I'm asking you guys to Do?

Its a good initiative!!! althought I am using the app over wifi.. i didn't see any problem yet.. I still gave the survey

Come on and help pass this post around and get memebers to complete the survey. Youtube can't do much when they have less than 20 submits. For them to actualy get a good feedback there needs to be at least 50 survey respnses. why are there apps made just for a few pictures? I can understand if its like a thousand or something pics but i am willing to bet this has no more than 50 pictures.
If people want to go see "Lovely Asians" they can go search "asian porn" in the google search bar and find all of it.

Don't judge my app just after read the name. I can surely my app contains non porn image, and the database has more than 50 pics ( I thought about 6k+ pics now).
There is user upload pics feature (with our censored of course), so you can find new pics daily.
My post seem to be lack of info, that make the app like some crap apps. I have just added some more info of my app.

Its simply a photo app, contains non porn photo. Everyone can view photos in the app. Dont be so cruel huh? Have you ever install or at least view the details page of the app in Android market?
"Upload your photo" what's stopping the end user from uploading porn? Just sayin.

The user's photos can only be seen by others after admin's censor. Before the photo has been check, only its uploader can see it.
I checked it out. This is a quality app guys. Quit bashing the man.
The only thing that really needs to be approved upon is the resolution. The pictures are sharp with in the app but to low of a resolution to be used as a wallpaper.

Installed perfectly, works great! Like the interface and options, and the swipe to zoom is pretty awesome.
This is pretty neat. Definitely a keeper.
FWIW (so people don't get confused or get on here whining "the map isn't working!") - The map is only useful for pictures that you had the GPS turned on when you take a certain picture..

Not sure why, but I just noticed that the sort-by-month is working, but seems to be a little strange. It's grouping a bunch of pics I took within the past few days at the bottom of the roll as December 1969.
I assume this is because they weren't time stamped correctly in the EXIF by the camera, and that date is the earliest possible by default. It would stand to reason that the file name order *should* also be the chronological order in which the pictures were taken - but since it groups by month, it uses the EXIF date instead of the file name to order the pics.
The point is this: make sure the camera is correctly tagging your pictures or the order of your pictures in the gallery will be all messed up.

Nope.
at first I tried to just copy to system>app and setting permissions and got nothing but FCs. Went back and installed with AppInstaller, voila, awesomeness. The swipe thumbnail change is sweet btw! Is there any way to "replace" the gallery function w/i the camera apps with this?
