Oh, man, you're killing me. I literally JUST finished reinstalling Bleu Mynt, checked back here, and you've got a new ROM posted. I just got it installed and am looking forward to trying it out.
The boot animation did get stuck flashing between 2 frames. I've never seen it do that before, but I left it alone for a few minutes and it finally booted.

I am still running the beta version. It runs so good that I am hesitant to upgrade to this version!
Guess I will try this out today.

This thing is freaking fast. Thanks for the hard work, as always.

Dude another rom. Going to throw this in a boot manager slot. Man I wish boot manager worked on the SG3
Oh and did you get my pm? I think I sent it, Was awhile back.

Thanks! Loving this ROM! Only have one problem and it is YouTube vids aren't playing in browser. Have tried stock and dolphin. Installed flash player and still nothing. I know we have YouTube app but sometimes a link is posted on a forum and it's easier to watch within browser.

To get Flash working on the stock browser you need to do two things:
1) force stop the browser process
2) Remove all permissions for /data/data/com.android.browser/app_plugins/com.adobe.flashplayer/.macromedia/Flash_Player/config.data
*Fix also works for Dolphin. Just change com.android.browser to mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser
Changing the permissions restricts the flash plugin or the stock browser or the webkit or I dunno what from reading config.data. This file is screwing with video playback of anything over 240p.

This thing looks great and I think I remember you from the Epic 4g scene glad to see your work here ....
been running it awhile very stable and snappy ... very low memory usage ... best yet in fact ... awesome rom .... only problem I seen is a2sd isn't integrated but it was simple to install ...

I finally made the switch from beta to stable on this rom. Must say, I am glad I did. Great job, Diablo!

1. Stop quoting entire OPs.. It's dirty and achieves nothing.
2. This ROM is for a different device than what you have.... So no.
You could instead ask Diablo67 for help with working on a port or building it yourself, but otherwise this rom is not compatible with you device.
Sent from one of the many JB ROMS for the OG...... GB my a**. That's what Sense is for.

im trying it.
Working good! Thanks
bro this is awesome.
someone should add this to the roms thread.
to those that tried it, what rom where you flashing from??
edit2
what do you mean by the camera button force closes, like to take a picture?
I'd be in heaven if this included Exchange support.
The problem with the Exchange support in the Sapphire Mail app is that it requires the entire custom HTC version of the core Android framework. The same goes for the HTC Dialer. I'd rather keep the open-source version, since the source code changes that HTC has made to the core are not publicly available.

Run Haykuro's ROM
I can verify it works very good on Haykuros newest spl.. and it runs extremly fast without upping the clock setting, This is the version im using till further notice!!
Thank you!!!
also dont know if it was htc or you but the defualt sounds are niiice!
o0k so i flashed this and it took like 10 minutes in the android screen but maybe it was cus of all my apps.
but everything works perfectly fine.
i can finally play teeter.
and yeah to take pics i gotta use the trackball.
best jf rom so far.!
Badly need Exchange on JF 1.51 TMO
really a shame that noone has been able to include Exchange into JFs ROM, seriously, that would really make this phone complete. Understood most folks dont care about exchange, but for most techies, Exchange is a must to have good corporate e-mail and as much as people want to say Touchdown and Moxier are good, they just arent the same as the one from HTC. Any good soul out there want to make this happen???
Anyone know if this includes the HTC Lock Screen?
Works great thanks!!!

[ROM] CyanogenMod - One Step Ahead (STABLE) [UPDATED 8/28- v4.0.4]

The old massive thread has been closed!
Check out the new website: http://www.cyanogenmod.com - thanks to SatanR1!!
I am maintaining a custom ROM based on Android 1.5r3 (crossbred with Donut) focusing on performance, reliability, and safe usage of apps on SD, with some additional features. Yes, this will work just fine on your non-ADP devices. Versions listed as "experimental" may and will have some issues, so unless you want to be a guinea pig, use the "stable" versions. Major thanks to everyone who is helping to test these ROMs!
If you have installed a theme that is not specifically designed for this ROM, please don't post bugs here unless you can reproduce them without the theme installed.
Please search the Android Bug Tracker then check the CyanogenMod Bug Tracker before posting your problem! I do not work for Google and am not going to fix every known bug that exists in Cupcake. Of course, if I created the bug and it's specific to this ROM I will certainly fix it. But please, search before posting bugs. There is a lot of good information in this thread and the old thread and the likelihood that you are the first person to report an issue is very low.
If you are reporting a bug about a "force close", you need to post the output of "adb logcat" from the crash or there is nothing I can do for you.
DO NOT RUN ANY OTHER APPS2SD APPLICATIONS ON THIS BUILD. YOU WILL BREAK YOUR SYSTEM. THEY ARE NOT NECESSARY BECAUSE THIS ROM WILL DO A2SD AUTOMATICALLY AND BETTER!
*** DISCLAIMER ***
While this build is heavily optimized, it is also capable of pushing your G1 much harder. I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or the current economic crisis. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modificiations, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
* UNIVERSAL! Runs on both Dream and Magic 32B
* Now identifies itself as either T-Mobile G1 or myTouch (due to popular demand, and T-Mobiles lameness to support ADP devices)
* Based on AOSP 1.5r3, a heap of Donut, various collected patches, and some help from JF-1.51-ADP
* Enhanced ramdisk which uses optimal mount options and smart startup
* Includes E2FSProgs for checking and converting Ext filesystems
* Apps2SD is automatic! All you need is a second partition (ext).
* Includes script to upgrade to ext3 (from recovery mode, see FAQ)
* Supports ext2/ext3/ext4 for Apps2SD
* Includes HTC Framework, various HTC applications, and HTC VK
* Launcher with 5 screens and auto-orientation and compact drawer layout
* Enhanced lock screen (Stericson)
* Clean filesystem shutdown at poweroff/reboot, and fsck at boot (no FS corruption!)
* Includes T-Mobile IM application, Amazon MP3 (with Stericson's hack), and updated Google Maps
* Does not require "DangerSPL"
* Highly optimized kernel with many extra modules
* Includes a massive APN list
* Maximum CPU scaling frequency set to 528MHz with latency tweaks
* Various enhancements to the Settings app including extra partition space
* Runs /system/sd/userinit.sh after A2SD setup and before starting the runtime for user scripts
* Microsoft Exchange support (Work Email from myTouch)
* Compcache 0.6 enabled by default (if no userinit is present)
* Linux cgroups for better app prioritization
* Power Widget and App Fuel Gauge from Donut
* Custom boot screen by matt_stang
* Phone app enhancements by cytown
* OpenOBEX commandline tools ported by Erin Yueh - just need an app to run them!
* Ability to add dialer and MMS shortcuts
* PPTP/L2TP VPN and WPA Enterprise support from Donut
* MMS enhancements from rgv151
* FLAC support from Kruton (buy this man a beer)
* LocationServices memory leak fixed (by itp)
* Not vulnerable to the "one click root" exploit

Frequently Asked Questions said:
1. Do I have to wipe?
You shouldn't have to wipe if coming from a JF ADP-based ROM, otherwise, probably. If weird things are happening, try wiping. You can also try the permission fixer script linked above. If you are coming from an HTC-based ROM like Hero or Sapphire, you are going to have to wipe.
2. Will you include the HTC Dialer/HTC Mail?
No, because I won't be shipping the full HTC-modified Android core (it's not open source), which these apps depend on. I do include the "Work Email" application which is the HTC Exchange client.
3. Will this work on the Magic?
It will work on Dream (G1) or Magic 32B (myTouch). I plan to support 32A devices soon.
4. How do I set up apps-to-sd?
You need to create a second partition on your SD card in the ext2/ext3/ext4 format. Search the forums if you don't know how to do this. Once created, the ROM will move your apps automatically and new apps will be installed to the SD by default.
5. How do I install MyFaves?
Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542267
6. Will you include feature X, Y, or Z?
Maybe, ask me about it.
7. How do I convert to Ext3?
Reboot into recovery (home + power), drop to a console (Alt+x), and enter: "upgrade_fs". Reboot and you will be at ext3. This requires my recovery image listed above.
8. Can I use Ext4?
Yes, the kernel supports it (with delayed allocation fixes) and the required tools are there. You'll need to do the conversion manually, though.
9. How do I enable the HTC_IME?
Go into settings->Locale & text and disable "Android Keyboard" and enable "Touch Input".
10. Can I tether with this?
Yes. I recommend using Wifi Tether for Root Users
11. I want to switch back to ext2.
Reboot into recovery (my recovery image), drop to a console (Alt+X). Remove the journal with "tune2fs -O ^has_journal /dev/block/mmcblk0p2". You should then fsck with "e2fsck /dev/block/mmcblk0p2".
12. Will you include feature XXX from Hero?
No. Most of the HTC apps in Hero require the heavily modified closed-source Android core which I won't be including.
13. My /system/sd is read only and/or didn't upgrade to ext3!
Your filesystem is probably corrupt. Boot into Recovery 1.2+ and run a filesystem check from the menu. If it tells you to run it manually, drop to a console (alt+x) and run "e2fsck /dev/block/mmcblk0p2".
14. Is ext3/ext4 safe for my SD card?
Probably, unless your card is very old and does not support wear leveling. Use Google and decide for yourself.
15. I have problems with force closes of paid apps and have to reinstall my them after a no-wipe upgrade!
Run the "permission fixer" script. It is included in this build as well as Recovery 1.2+. Just execute "fix_permissions" from a terminal or the recovery console and reboot.
16. Can I use your work in my own ROM?
Of course, I am all about sharing! Just give credit where credit is due.
17. It's taking forever to boot!
The first boot will take longer than normal because dexopt needs to run. If you are nervous, connect USB and run "adb logcat" to watch the progress.
18. My phone rebooted by itself!
Possible kernel panic or oops. Please get me the output of "cat /proc/last_msg" when you reboot so it can be debugged.
19. My camera is black and white only!
You have settings left over from the old Android camera. Just go into the Camera, hit menu, settings, then "reset to defaults".
20. My auto-rotate/accelerometer isn't working!
Not really the fault of the ROM, but here's how to fix it: Go into recovery, drop to console, "mount /data", then "rm /data/misc/akmd* /data/misc/rild*" and reboot.
21. What about swap space?
As of 4.0, Compcache is activated by default unless a userinit.sh script is present. Search the forums for information on how to create a userinit.sh to activate swap.
22. Will you include the Flash Player from Hero?
No, because it's tightly coupled to the Hero Browser, which is tightly coupled to the Hero Framework. It's not easily portable at this point. Run Hero if you want it. Otherwise, we will have to wait for something more compatible.

Cyanogen if you need more room to post just let me know.
Nice. I shall try out. I'm running Haykuro's ADP 1.5Hr3, no APP2SD. Simple rename to update.zip and thats it? I don't plan to run APP2SD.
Running the latest SPL (1.33.2005) and Radio (2.22.19.26I).
Can't wait to see if the "Market Bug" is really dead. Thanks Cyanogen for fixing up the important issues too. BTW is compcache stable enough for everyday use yet?

I had the problem where the accelerometer did not work at all anymore.Since I did not want to lose all my data, I found a post on how to fix it without wiping:
[Warning] DON'T try this while NOT in the recovery console! You will lose space on the /data partition because of a bug!! ONLY do this in the recovery console where no system is running
Start by powering off phone
Now hold [Home+Power] to enter Recovery
Enter recovery console [alt+x]
Press Enter to bring up shell
Type the following hitting <enter> after each line:
mount /data
cd data
cd misc
rm akmd_set.txt
reboot
The file will be recreated and life is good

Not really, but we have some ideas based on the kernel changes and the code snapshot they put into GIT 2 months ago.
Also, 3.6.7 has a new template, sorry about this guys.. I know you hate me now. I had to get the resource ids back in line with exactly what is expected, and it was off by one due to the addition of the reboot menu- this is what caused that stupid market bug. This is what I hate about Android.. if you get ANY of the resource ids out of line, the closed-source apps can break.
Last Post just a more organized layout of fix,
Thank you for all your hard work

IMAP/POP email features
The only thing stopping me from using this ROM is that it lacks POP/IMAP features found in other ROMs (e.g., Rogers, Hero). Specifically, I miss the ability to sort email by date/sender/subject/etc and set the size of downloaded messages and the option of downloading messages by number of emails or by days.
Is there any way to port the Rogers POP/IMAP email features into this build?
Also.. I'm not turning on Compcache by default, but it does work if you want to make your own userinit.sh script. I don't see any performance degradation either.

No, we've been over this 100 times. The Rogers/Hero/HTC Mail app can't be used on this ROM. It does include the Exchange app from the myTouch though. Use K-9, it's better than the stock email client IMHO.
It would be nice if there was something like a JF Update for this ROM since there are new releases very often.
Or a tweak to use the default System Update for this ROM. I know MANY would love this.

[rom][30/03/2014] Beanstalk 4.4.275 [UNOFFICIAL][KITKAT]

Frequent Q&A (maybe?)

Q: WHY FAQ FIRST?
A: Because, I have seen some of you guys are so lazy to scroll down a bit to read this as this is essential post I think. And further more, I don't want you to brick your phone because of your lack of reading skill .
Q: Am I advised to do anything?
A: READ THIS CAREFULLY everyone. Since I changed the partition layout for more convenient to work on kitkat or future Android so I advise you to do a oneclick heimdall back to BML first, do a full wipe except for the sdcard and then flash the kitkat zip. Once u r in TWRP, full wipe and flash the build again (with or without gapps) . I might change the partition table several times until I have the good space calculation for rom and gapps tho, so this procedure is advised/required - just took u 30s to do that tho.
I will also mark the zip/update that have another different table that required this procedure then, otherwise, you can update via dirty flash.
Link to heimdall package: AntonX's Basic with a twist kernel [BML]
And here is the recommended procedure:
1. Make backup or whatever u need then copy the ROM into ur sdcard.
2. Reboot into Recovery and full wipe except sdcard.
3. Reboot into Download mode and Heimdall oneclick BML ROM/kernel
4. Flash the Beanstalk build from CWM 5.x
5. After booted into TWRP, full wipe and flash the Beanstalk ROM again - use the button combo to get into TWRP if it doesn't do it automatically.
6. Reboot and enjoy!
Q: Is this Rooted?
A: Yes it is. To have the Root privileges, Go to settings>about phone>then tap build number 7 times to enable the developer settings, once enabled, under root access, choose apps and adb. That's all. (Thanks to @foxxx5oh)
Q: Where is 'fix permission' option in CWM?
A: I believe koush decided to throw away the fix permissions button in CWM because he said it was largely placebo effect and had no real purpose anymore. (Thanks to @cpkelley94)
Q: Dahell, I can't use Google Now.
A: I found that all you have to do to fix Google now is get root explorer, titanium backup or SD maid, remove system app Google search and reinstall from play store... (Thanks to @turtlepa)
Q: My battery drains so fast and I found out that WiFi kept awake and running in background even I disabled it. Why?
A: Due to new Android version permission, Google set up a new option to allow Gapps to scan for nearby networks even when WiFi is off. To disable that, go to settings>WiFi>advance>untick the scanning always available option n u r cool again .
Q: Is this really KITKAT? And can I eat it?
A: Yes, yes it is. And u r advised to cook it before eating tho. Enjoy your meal then .
Q: Why built Beanstalk instead of CM 11?
A: I build what I like so build whatever u want that hasn't existed here at your own joy as I have publicly pushed all of my changes for Jellybean and Kitkat @ my Github: https://github.com/daothanhduy

So your interested in Building/Porting for another device?! Follow this guide! **Please make sure to give proper credits and Use the layout i have in the first post.** - If you need assistance, please send me a PM, do NOT post questions in this thread. I may open a general porting/building thread in another section depending on how this goes. You must have some general experience/knowledge in this area to complete this. Building from Linux platforms. In particular Ubuntu 10.04
If you have building/development concerns or issues, Please visit the BeanStalk Development Thread to avoid cluttering this thread.
Setup to build - This section can be skipped if you've ever built anything before. This is for first time build setup.
1. From your root terminal location, type the following: sudo apt-get install curl git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev squashfs-tools build-essential zip curl libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev sun-java6-jdk pngcrush schedtool g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib
2. Type: mkdir ~/bin
3. Type: PATH=~/bin:$PATH
4. Type: curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > ~/bin/repo
5. Type: chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
From terminal
1. type 'cd'. This will bring you to your root folder.
2. type 'mkdir beanstalk'. This will create a folder named beanstalk.
3. type 'cd beanstalk'. This will take you to the beanstalk directory created from previous step
4. type 'repo init -u git://github.com/scotthartbti/android.git -b cm-10.1'. This will setup the folders to be synced.
5. type 'repo sync'. This will sync the folders to your beanstalk directory. Note - This will take some time depending on internet connection. Be patient!
6. After the repo sync finally finishes, all you need to do is add your device, kernel, vendor specific files for the device you are building for. (You must know what these are, dont bother asking me if your not sure.)
7. Make sure all your device specific files are setup as if you were going to build for CM.
8. Outside of terminal, navigate to beanstalk/vendor/cm. Double click on the get-prebuilts file and select run in terminal. This will fetch necessary files needed to build and place them where they need to be.
9. Type '. build/envsetup.sh && brunch "device name"'
10. Previous step will start building beanstalk for your device. The process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on your computer.
11. Once completed, it will say package complete and you will have a beanstalk named zip file in your out folder.
CAUTION!!!!!!!! At the moment, the ROM size is too big to have space for Gapps, so please IF YOU WANT to ENJOY this ROM with Gapps, FOLLOW my INSTRUCTION:
1. Open the ROM zip: BeanStalk-4.4.205-20131231-galaxys4gmtd.zip via WinRAR or Winzip or 7z,... on your PC/laptop
2. Browse to /system/app and delete these files:
GooManager.apk
HoloLauncherHD.apk
Nova.apk
QuickSearchBox.apk
3. Download my Moded Slim_minimal gapps - I just deleted the Hang out, Youtube, Google Music player and Gmail which you can install it via playstore - put it in your sdcard and flash along with the ROM.
4*. For advance users only, AFTER doing all those steps, you can even delete the LatinIME which is 40MB @ /system/app via RootExplorer and install Google keyboard - as user app - instead via Playstore or find the apk @xda .
Enjoy using it everyone!
Or simplier: download this gapps insted, only 17.4MB, I just found it but haven't tried: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23269279319195954

I should think that the end user would be the best one to determine that answer.:silly:
All the options/feature for each ROM are listed for you in OP first posts. Decide & try.
One thing I can notice w this rom, the meamory leak seems tp be better than on Slimkat even after flashing gapps.
Originally (w/o gapps) the ROM only uses 52MB RAM for apps (not include caches), sounds crazy.
And FYI, I will support this ROM even with Sabermod/Linaro toolchain soon along w Slimkat and I will only support these 2 ROMs. No CM11 due to limited hard disk on my laptop so dont ask for it. If u want to have CM11, feel free to build as all of my commits are online and open. If u need help for building, feel free to pm me but just warn u that even tho I have good temper with requests/reports but I am such a jerk with instructing ppl (as I am easily go mad somehow, even tho I used to be a noob asking for help back then) so feel free asking for help but forgive me if I say something wrong. Thanks!

Would you say that this is more stable than SlimKat? That is my main concern because ive had many freezing issues with SlimKat.

Nope I didnt say so. This ROM still has some graphical glitches with the Quick Setting but other than that, it is cooler than Slim with features. But IMO, I still prefer using slimkat as slimkat is slimmer (obviously), purer and has the better TRDS compat (as beanstalk hasn't meraged all the TRDS commits tho). I just flashed Slimkat for 2 more ppl and my Mom, my friends and I haven't seen any reboot/freeze with the original set up config on slimkat tho so IDK what was wrong w ur phone. Anw, choice is yours so choose what u like to run then .

Browser?
I'm not sure if maybe this is just me, but I have tried flashing this ROM a few different ways, and still the browser won't open when installed? Any ideas? Also, excellent work on SlimKat and BeanStalk4.4 ;D
New build is up on my Goo.im. Enjoy everyone!
New: New NiLTMT kernel - v14.01.01, Camera buggy fixed.

It happened to me also, I don't know what fixed it, but I recall that I wiped everything (system/data/dalvik/sd-ext) except SD card and reflashed, also
don't flash Slim-minimal Gapps, I think it is the culprit. Instead flash the one provided in the first post (only google play) which works.
On a side note, this rom is much more stable and feature rich unlike Slimkat. I like it, it only needs working GPS and it would be perfect. (I wonder if porting the Vibrant's GPS drivers would work, since they have the same gps chip and they have it working in kitkat and JB).
I dont have any issues with the browser. But I did notice that everytime I boot, or reboot the phone, I loose all of the widgets that I put on the home screen. Not sure why it does this, and it is not hard to put them back on, just annoying.

I have no reboot issue with this rom, this happens when I reboot the phone. I also run Apex launcher. I have the Facebook widgets, a clock widget, and Weatherbug widget. They all do not reload after reboot.

Been there done that! LOL. Still a great Rom, and how often do you actually reboot your phone, maybe once a week? I can live with this issue.

it depends. when i am experiencing lag. i will clear cache and dalvik. or if my battery runs out.
sometimes, to install, (like installing system apps or private apps ) that require boot to be seen in my drawer
Glad u guys enjoying beanstalk. Fyi, the lag on beanstalk is caused by the swipe to switch feature which caused lag on some other kitkat ROMs as well (but there are still some also have swipe to switch feature w/o lag). Swipe to switch let you swipe across the notification tray to switch to Quick Settings. Btw I am setting up a linaro/SaberMod Slimkat build that hopefully wont have the issue w reboot/freeze. Glad to know that it doesnt exist on beanstalk.

? What is Smart Player, and why I should use it? ?
Smart Player is a new Music Player based on the well known Apollo, I had to use Apollo as base to
speed up my work, but why you need Smart Player to complete the user experience of this mod?
It's simple: you kown the app Trickster Mod right? Well, with trickster you can enjoy all your kernel features,
and with Smart Player you can enjoy all the PureAudio 2.0 features.
There are two version: the free one is like apollo, with just a brand new banner and audio parameters. The 0,99$ version
it's yes like apollo (or at least it resembles the layout) but with a fully enabled PureEQ and some
others battery/memory improvements provided from some android passioned friends, you can verify that
becouse the graphical stock equalizer don't makes any audio changes as explained that, due my custom PureAudio parameters.
The app thread with both downloads links from the Play Store is this, looks the tread if you want more infos.
Anyway, I've spent the last month to working on this app, my latest 4 months to work on this mod and I want
that you, yes, you, will get the full power of PureAudio!

How To Use Different Features Of This Rom
1.The Invisible Power Button
You see that little battery icon on the top right corner.Thats a goddamn power button !
Single press to turn off screen.
Press and hold for power menu. Pretty cool right. :good:
2.The almighty serajr Power Toggles
Open the status bar.Now swipe from left side of screen to the right and the toggles will appear.
3.The Status Bar
The Nemesis Fusion status bar has 3 (Yes!) layouts.
Slide normally down for first layout.
Slide with 2 fingers for 2nd layout.
The 3rd layout has power toggles.See number 2. for instructions.
4.Xposed Framework,GravityBox & serajr Xperia Xposed
Go to the settings .Slide down a little and you would see these apps there.
Install Xposed Framework first !!!
5.Control your CPU , (yes !)
Go to settings , slide down and you will see an app named 'No Frills CPU Control'.
You can use it to control your clock speed and all.
6.Viper Audio FX
Go to settings , slide down and you will see an app named 'Viper Audio Enhancements'.
Click on it , then you can install its drivers and enjoy the enhancements.
7.Beats Audio (Widget Only)

Click it and you will get options on widget. To use this feaure simply go to home screen , open widgets and add
beats widget to home screen.
8.Autostarts
You must have come across a setting in Windows which allows you to configure which apps you want to start/stop at boot.
This is simply its adaptation on android , that too made simple to check boxes.(Yes !)
This option is available in setting, far down.
9.Custom Bootanimation
I guess most of you guyz would be familiar with this but I am writing this for helping.
Navigate to
/system/media/
Here you will see a file named bootanimation.zip.You can replace it with any other custom bootanimation.
10.MTK Engineering Mode
This one is a little hi-fi feature. I recommend standard users not to use this as it can do some irevertible changes .
To open engineering mode, go to dialer and type *#*#3646633#*#*
It will fire up the engineer mode for you.

Gravity box works through the app itself but will force close if you access it through settings.

I don't have time to explore this ROM yet. As mentioned above, GravityBox doesnt work through settings. You need to access the app itself. Also I think the status bar icons are not well spaced.
Anyway here's some screen shots.

You mean no lag right?
You can actually disable quite a lot of apps to get more free ram or use the v6 supercharger script.
