[Q] Micromax Bolt A27 doesn't turn on - General Questions and Answers

Hey there. My grandma's got a Micromax Bolt A27 (rooted, stock ROM, Gingerbread 2.3.5, bootloader locked). For some reason, even though it was 46% charged, it shut off without any reason. And it won't turn on. I tried the power button, removed the battery, the SIM card (only one inside), microSD card, put them back again, tried the power button, plugged it in, tried the power button again, but to no avail. And no, I wasn't trying to flash a custom ROM, or anything of that sort. It just turned off. No (visible) reason. Help?

Try resting the mobile..
Or try battery calibration using some app..

I have same issue; I think we install apps from net some thing might be causing the shutdown. Initially I thought that shutdown might be due to battery down when I remve battery and again start the A60; battery will be 80% good.
please let know if you the cause!!!
After going through a number of forums, I realized that this is a known issue and people have got their handsets replaced.
I got the replacement too, after a wait of almost 3 weeks. This was because the handset was not in stock at the distributor's end.
However, its just being 3 hours and I haven't even operated the phone since I received it, but I am facing the same problem.
All I have done till now is accessed my Gmail account.
maybe late reply but I am facing this same issue,
sometime my phone is shutdown(even If battery is full) then I throw my phone on bed and my phone start working(without rebooting)

[Q] cant enter recovery mode in micromax a60

After clicking the "Reboot into Recovery" button in ROM manager; my phone is not entering to the recovery mode.
It simply goes to hell by showing the micromax logo screen.
After that when i m restarting my phon, it wakes up.
Please help me out.
It is already rooted using universal root.
No command is working on the adb, factory reset also does not work.
I mean to say, whenever the phone is restarted......the phone stops working.
If i'll shutdown and then start it, works fine.
ohh!!
I was facing this same problem, I think you're rooted your phone and also your USB debugging is "off" so you can't reboot or re-flash.
I face this same problem so I send my phone to Micromax Server Center on Feb, 08...
After calling them more then 30 - 50 times I get my mobile after 2 month and now I am facing new problem, sometimes my phone is automatically shutdown and can't restart without removing battery.
Send your phone to micromax service center and call them on every week on days(make a pressure otherwise you'ill get your mobile after a 6 - 12 month )
Even If they'll repair your phone then you get a new same problem like me.
MICROMAX is a crap and dust of Indian..

used hypermod rom by nikhilmendu and now problem

hello everyone. yesterday i had installed hypermod rom by nikhil mendu and every was fine. trouble started when i tried to turn on the wifi. the wifi was not getting turned on and instead it was giving annoying wifi search notification. to solve it i tried to restart the phone. even after restarting the phone the problem was there. the best thing i felt was to reset the phone. as soon as i did a factory reset the phone restarted and after a few seconds of restting it keeps on restarting. it has now fallen in a loop of ressting and rebooting... i tried to turn on the phone on recovery mode. when i press the 3 buttons and push it to recovery mode it shows recovery mode but again starts resetting as soon as i let the button go.
when i plug in for charge even if the phone is turned off it turns on and gets into same restting and restarting boot loop.
tried to plug data cable and the situation is same.
i wonder if there is any way to fix the phone. will the smart flash tool help in anywas. plugging in the phone just turns it on and do the same thing...
please help.. i need to make some important calls and i am phone less. would appreciate if someone would help me with ..
thanks
