Introduction :
Under the request of some friends of mine, I decided after some time of write, to release this script for public testing.
This package of binaries, scripts and libraries, will fix the lags on your Android smartphone or tablet, and make it smoother and faster!
Features and Improvements :
- Full memory management with 5 different configs.
- Zipalign apps in "/system" at every boot, and apps in "/data" every 48 hours.
- CPU governors tweaks and improvements for better performance and battery life.
- Increased SD Card read-ahead cache to 2048 KB to improve SDCard write/read speed.
- Nos entropy seeder generator engine used to reduce lags.
- Ad blocking.
- Battery life improvements.
- SQLite and database optimizing every 48 hours.
- Network TCP tweaks.
- Kernel, VM and sysctl tweaks and improvements.
- File system speedup.
- Build.prop tweaks and improvements.
- Cleans log files and tombstones at every boot.
- Many other tweaks for better performance and battery life!
Requirements :
- Android 2.3.x (Gingerbread) and higher.
- Kernel with init.d support.
- Root.
- ClockworkMod. (4 or higher)
- At least 4 MB of free space in "/system".
How to install :
1. Download the flashable zip.
2. Rebooting into recovery mode.
3. Install Fly-On RAM manager. (optional)
4. Install Signed_Fly-On_Mod_V3.0.zip stock or CM according to your ROM.
5. Reboot and feel the smoothness!
In the package :

-ram_manager: It's a complete memory manager, with 5 different versions.
-02logdelete1: Cleans log files and tombstones at every boot.
-09sdcardspeedfix: Set SDCard readahead speed to 2048 KB.
-darky_zipalign: Zipalign apps in "/system" at every booting.
-zipaligndata: Zipalign apps in "/data" every 48 hours.
-98fly_core: Contains various tweaks and improvements. (3G/VM/sysctl/kernel/battery life tweaks etc.)
-sqlite_optimize: Optimizing database of apps every 48 hours.
-s78sensitive_touchscreen: Improves the sensivity of your touchscreen.

Compatibility :
- This package will work with all android devices that have init.d support!
- Fly-On Mod works with Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, but in Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean ADJ Values are hard coded into the services.jar or .odex, that's why for Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean you will need a patched services.jar, you can follow this great guide by zeppelinrox (thanks to him): Click here.
- You can also use Fly-On Mod with V6 SuperCharger. (If you didn't flash the ram_manager config)
- The ram_manager configs are for phones with 512MB RAM. (Lower and higher than that too)
- If you have 1024MB/2048MB RAM use supercharger instead!
Important informations :
About RAM managers :
+ Balanced version, is for people with moderate apps use.
+ Gamers version, is for people playing HD/3D games.
+ Multitasking version, is for people that use a lot of apps at the same time.
+ Hard multitasking version, is for people with huge amount of apps running at the same time. (Very agressive values!)
+ Nexus version, contains values from Google source used in nexus devices.
Note also that:
- Multitasking version have lesser free ram than Balanced/Gamers/Nexus, but this thing doesn't mean they are the best, choose the ram config according to your use!
- Don't use any Task Killer with this Mod!
- Fly-On Mod main package comes with 2 different versions, CM version is for CyanogenMod ROMS and AOSP based ROMS (like AOKP), then stock version is for stock ROMS and custom ROMS based on stock!
- If you have bad battery life the problem is from an app waking your phone from sleep, it's not my script!
- Don't use Fly-On Mod with any other tweaking script as they will conflict!
- If you want to use Fly-On Mod in your ROM or your Mod ask for permissions first and give me credits!
- If you have any question ask me in the thread instead of PMs or I will not reply!
- Read well the thread before posting any newbie questions and do not ask for an already answered question!

This Thread is reserved for sharing information about Scripts in Android and how they Tweak the Android system through the Linux kernel and what are requirements of Running Scripts correctly!
Main Goal of Scripts:
Well,Scripts Has a lot of Goals,Such as optimizing,improving and in Some Lines we can say,Scripts can:
-Improve Performance and GUI Smoothness
-Improve Battery Life
-Tweak and Optimize the Android engine!
Requirements of using Some Scripts:
Since Android is Based on Linux,there is a possibility to use Linux Scripts to attempt the Goals Listed before in the thread,and like any Tweak you want to Apply there is some requirements you need to Use correctly those Scripts and some of the mportanst are :
-Custom Kernel that support init.d(Custom Kernel=Modified Linux kernel,for example in GALAXY ACE Forums here we have:CF-Root-All CM kernels,etc...)
-Having ClockWorkMod 5 or above to Flash Scripts
-at Least 2 MB free in /system
-Root Access(BusyBox should be included)
Useful Info About Tweaks:
-LMK(LowMemoryKiller):
The LowMemoryKiller is a constant debate between more free RAM and more multitasking capabilities as free RAM (more than 60MB free) is actually wasted RAM.
The LowMemoryKiller is actually a feature in the Android OS for better memory management.
This is an important feature due to the perennial problem of having low free memory causing lagginess and slowness in launching apps. When you have free memory lingering around the number of 40MB or less, the Android OS just lags like hell.
What this would mean is, you would want to tweak the LMK to not have the situation of it having less than 40MB (or even close to that).
The modern Linux machine in the Android ecosystem relies on a mechanism called Low Memory Killer (LMK) to consistently free up RAM. This is due to Android's internal mechanism of caching apps (and never fully exiting them) when you press the back button. This is to enable faster app switching and provide a seamless experience for apps usage model. Android also, by itself will also constantly look for often used apps to cache them for faster app opening. This will happen even before your system fully boots.
Now, when you mention LMK, the most obvious thoughts that come up are minfrees and Out Of Memory (OOM) groupings. Yes, those two are integral parts when it comes to LMK. The issue here is that no one actually mentioned that there are two LMK systems in Android, that being:
- Linux LMK
- Android Dalvik VM LMK
Journaling/Barriers:
This has been a touchy subject here in XDA for most people who debate about it. Most recently,Some Scripts included a way to disable journaling on these partitions:
/system (System is read only, it's safe to remove journaling. However, you will not see speed increase by removing it as you're not writing onto /system 99.99% of the time unless you're using Titanium backup to remove system apps or copying init.d scripts to it)
/cache (Cache can be rebuilt on the fly. Data corruption on it is not game breaking)
/data (All of your data on your phone is here. Removing journaling can risk data corruption. Read more below)
On whether we need journaling or not, I will pose this situation:
Journaling is required to maintain data consistency in events that could lead to data corruption. Data could get corrupted in a number of situations:
- Misbehaving app that constantly writes without syncing/committing data to the disk
- Power loss due to forced reboots or bootloops when data is partially written/committed into disk
Memory Leaks
If you found out that your Android is laggy after sometime and a reboot will make it faster, then you're experiencing memory leaks. "free" is a command to show your currently free memory. It will not necessarily be the same value as your phone's free memory.
Busybox
Well,Busybox is required to perform all of your superuser activities in your android phone. There are some problems associated with this when ROM developers decide to use a certain version of Busybox that are incompatible with the binaries that we use in our phones. When you found out that after changing your kernel/ROM:
- You still have superuser and Titanium Backup still works but, Root Explorer/File Expert can't copy files correctly to the /system after mounting R/W!!
MinFree:
Minfree is part of the Kernel (present on both Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich) and It an Option available in Linux kernel Optimized for Android to Improve MultiTasking and It differs from a Phone to another because of the RAM available in users space.
The Minfree is hopefully adjustable Like the LMK to optimize Multitasking to a lot of options(like:aggressive,gaming,balanced,etc...)
The Minfree Option can be Found as a part of Linux Scripts for better RAM management!
Network Tweaks:
Well,in Linux Scripts for Android you can find some Tweaks that increase the speed of you Network Download/Upload and those with various types of Netwoks Like 3G,Wi-Fi,etc...
Build.Prop Tweaks
Well,those Tweaks can generally be found in Build.prop in /system and they are for various improvements Such as allowing Phone to Sleep better,changing wi-fi scan interval,changing window animation delay,some network Tweaks,possibility to change density,etc...
SD Card Speed Fix:
This is a Tweaks that Has the goal of increasing the read-ahead speed of your SD Card,and that by changing the valories of SD card readahead Like:
-256kb
-512kb
-2048kb
-4096kb
Smoothness Tweaks
Well with the Linux Kernel there is a possibility to add some Tweaks to the Linux scripts and those to optimize the GUI Smoothness and also Lock Home launcher in Memory!!

A apk file consists of various type of data it can be your java code XMLs , images , sounds etc
of these the images and sounds (raw folder) are uncompressed I'm nature in the apk
so What zipalign does is align all the uncompressed data of the apk in certain way ( I read somewhere group of 4 bytes )
we can apply this concept to real world organization .( we would find our things earlier if we organize our room )
thus this enables simple access while running the app thus saving RAM

It's not a kernel but these are actually scripts which run when you start up your phone, and contain some code / commands which help your phone perform better. They need a kernel which is compatible with these scripts or is able to run these at startup. The kernel creates a folder called init.d, these scripts when you flash get copied to this folder and are executed at startup.
If you have used Semaphore kernel in any of the GB roms, you may have used the semaphore kernel settings, those settings did the same thing, they used to execute the scripts at startup and make our phones more awesome.
This flashable scripts will do the same thing.

Glitch does support scripts, you can use it, but i am not qualified to recommend it to you.

yes,it's recommended as Glitch Kernel dosn't use any init.d script by default !!

Am on THS B16 with Stock Kernel..
One Thing i wanna say is That my Battery drain has been gone off completely.
B4 i had battery drain rapid from 100 to 90% within 30min, even in standby..
Now 1hr 5min my battery is at 99%
Havent checked more.. Will Keep updating as i see a difference
By the Way. My Ram is about 90~70mb all time.. cant get more than 100

Hi all..
Im back again in compilation siries involving alot of build prop tweaks combine with v6 supercharger/thunderbolt /geeky engine, grafick enhancement(bravia engine) and tools made for best gaming experiance and improved perfomance with more battery life..
Content:-
BroodKernel v1.3 (kqi) oc/uv max 1800mhz- set by default. Support init-d, bootanimation, swap, full image picture quality and the best ram management with automatic zipalign on boot.
Build prop tweaks - alot of tweak compile from xda forum for perfomance and low battery consumption:-
- dalvik vm, touchscreen, netspeed, media, gpu, hw, disable cpu rendering and many more.
bin/xbin/lib file- compile and mod it from v6 supercharge, thunderbolt, geeky engine
Init-d; - sdcard speed, ondemand, cpu/gpu,drop cache,squalite optimize, touchscreen,2D rendering and many more.
Egl driver :- galaxy w value pack( maybe.. i forget..) but this ver. More fast and smooth in 3D than others. In antutu benchmark at last grafick(3D) test always get 54-55 fps. In gaming also very good on heavy game.

flash the zip in CWM
Wipe cache and dalvik
Fix permission
Reboot
remember to set cpu down to 1400mhz after boot bcause broodkernel set by default 1800mhz-tips before flash the zip..set cpu(cpu master/no frill, etc) 1st to 1400mhz and tick option apply on boot. Some device cant handle max 1800mhz and cant boot. Maybe the tips will help.

Good news for ics..finaly i have found the good combination of init d tweak that improve alot in gaming. Try with doomsday PA ics cm9 latest ver. With castagna IT 7.3 bfs. Recomended to use bfs ver for best experiance..testing with dead trigger n and contract killer 2 ...test it to belive...

Just delete geeky part in init-D..im only use the script only if u dont like geeky(geeky engine/geeky engine 1/geeky engine2)..but so far i have no issues as u mention because it was moded....

GEEKY ENGINE IS LAGGISH and MAKE YOUR PHONE AFTER 2-3 days UNSTABLE and FU**ED Up

The 'mods' of within geeky engine conflict themselves, making it a useless enhancement. Honestly, many of the mods inside this package are more or less useless:
- dalvik vm, touchscreen, netspeed, media, gpu, hw, disable cpu rendering and many more.

Those are already correctly defined in every - even stock samsung - roms.
Combining v6 supercharger and thunderbolt gives a lot of conflicts as well, and the performance gain from these mods is questioned.
Correct gps config comes with every custom rom, and can be easily modified with an app by any user.
The volume mod is ONLY meant for the galaxy sIII, which is running ics, while this is for GB!!
Apps can be installed to sd without an app like Droidsail2sd. Just go to settings -> apps and place them over.
Directory bind is meant for galaxy sII, might work, probably wont?
Bravia engine ports dont work. (Have had some discussions about this one in the past, but it really wont work unless you have a sony phone).
What is left over are all enhancements that come with the kernel (broodkernel, skyhigh, etc). Those give you the init.d scripts and updated gpu libs (and ofcourse the overclock).

1st of all im the gb user....n the mod that i have post im using it since quite a long time for sure more than 2/3 day...
Yes im not a dev.. i dont now nothing but i have thinking that i can use to make something work even i dont now how to explain it..n i learn from it..
Im not forcing anyone tu use it but im sharing it...just who ever want to try or just to do what ever they want its up to u...
And im not making money of its...nothing benefit me...just doing it for fun and as a hobby...so whats a big deal? And then somebody came and talking just like im the criminal...im the one who want to make something bad to ur phone...it is that?

Me and others want to help, the reason we says Geeky Engine isnt working is because of experience.
Also instead of adding some mods in one zip file to tweak isnt going to work, especialy when things (bravia engine) are not working correctly. Its like using a screwdriver for a nail, its just not working well.
Also droid2sd is for phones like gio and ace. We have engough space to install games. I have https://play.google.com/store/apps/...?t=W251bGwsMSwyLG51bGwsImNvbS5nbHUuZGRvbWUiXQ.. installed 460mb large and no problems.
And please dont take any of the comments personaly. Yes some users in here are really d**** but not all of us.

Dont get me wrong, i didnt wanted to insult you...!! I was just pointing out that that some of the mods you packed in this zip are not very useful.
Trust me, i have this phone for well over a year now, tried everything - most of the stuff in your mod - and know what im talking about.
Scripts lik supercharger, thunderbolt and adrenaline shot push performance in benchmarks, and sometimes slightly in games, but will prevent the user from heavy multitasking (running multiple apps together without having one of them moved from the ram).
The bravia engine will simply not work.
Some will work, but many are counterproductive and 'll do more harm than good. You might want to reconsider what you put into the mod collection you made.
I could just 'leave the mod for what it is and dont comment, but what would a forum be for? Is it prohibited to comment on stuff which might do more damage than good? Its meant as constructive criticism, pointing out what could be better, also trying to clarify why it could be better. Its up to you if you take any of what i said into consideration, or ignore it.

I dont mine...im not pointing at all of u...i understand but please descript specificly...if something dont work just tell example what will hapen..bootloop? What rom..bcause when the issue that ur telling but i dont experiance that but im using that thing..so i need explanation..through that i will see/try to find why it not working...it is can be fix. Must be an explanation...that all...im not a dev so must see to believe...u know what i mean by that..im doing this just for fun and for release my tension..as long i dont kill ur phone so what harm it will do for an apps that u dont use? But im using it for some reason? We all diffrent kind u know..all got their own reason...
So stop it...it realy kill me typing this all of nonsence using phone touchscreen..btw i dont have pc or laptop so it hard to me ok...

gingerevenge tweaks are from Texten... I've just done ctrl-c / ctrl-v of gigatweaks

Some advice, ask permission.
A tip; search for Pimp My ROM... All the availble mods tweaks and hacks in a Aroma installer.. Works like a charm..

For me the script didn't worked.
After starting the bootprocess it came to a freeze during "optimize android"

how much does the first boot take?I'm using ginger revenge 1.1.3 with brood kernel 1.3 and I deleted all 4 files in init.d.I did everything it says in installation but my phone got stuck at samsung galaxy s plus logo after boot animation for 5 minutes already.

But i am happy with my combination of ROM and kernel actually. So do not miss anything. Only liked to try the scripts.

There is a flashable zip. I tried it but it did not work. It will show that the flash was successful but it won't work. You will have to put all the files on your own. Confirmed that it works on CM10 alpha 4

Like to ask, how to install it without flash on Galaxy SL? I don't want a bootloop any more (It's already stalking me, I can sense it).

Open the zip file. U will see many files in different folders. Place them in the right areas and set proper perms. It might be hard for newbies but u only learn from your mistakes. Besides,I got it on my first try. If u dunno the proper perms, put the files in the proper areas and then reboot to recover, hope. Advanced and fix permissions.
