I wonder if the $12 one with the standard usb would work?
64gb and 128gb usb sticks AND mhl a la hdmi here we come?
Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk 2
Have no clue, and I don't think the USB port would work. Based on the physical design of the handset, there's only positive and negative poles on the left hand side to be contacted with the docking station. In this connection, I would only try the inexpensive version, and to report the same next week(hopefully)

i don't see how any of these could offer usb sync and such.
the pogo pins are solely for powering the device, there is no data interface as far as i know. just +/-
however for that price those things look just like the stock one, if it works well its probably a very good buy.
looking forward for a review.
Agreed, there is no way that the one with full size USB could work, unless Sony had worked some magic to mux the power with the data in just two pins. Doubt it.
Otherwise, it'd have to have a microUSB plug in the dock and you'd have to open your USB cover.
The USB data wouldn't work. Maybe the USB input is just another extension for power, to charge 2 devices at the same time? Some sort of daisy chaining? Sony confirmed that the pins can only transfer power though.
Just check it out, they don't export to Hong Kong, and schedule to release in mid-May
USB port is power outlet only

Lookslike that this page don't send to europe, or I am wrong?
Indeed, If they did, Sony would have included it in their own dock.

Only sales within Mainland China. Hong Kong and Macau are excluded. So as the rest of world.

Well this look nice.
I didn't actually need a dock. I just want to charge my phone without opening the water-proof seal on usb port everyday.
A cable attach to the 2 pin power port should the perfect solution for me.
But until we have that, cheaper dock is a must buy for me.
Chatted with seller, the cheap one ($8 version) shall depart China toward my office in Hong Kong on or before next Wed
Is there any e-mail to contact seller, since I can't read chinese and sometimes even gtranslate can't help . I would like to contact seller, to see what are options to get dock in rest of the world. I am pretty sure, for at least 5-10 XZ owners in my area would buy even the most expensive one, as it's still really cheap. Me personally I would go for middle one, since is kinda better than expensive one...
You might consider those taobao agents who buys it for you and shop it to you. Advantage they speak English and accept PayPal for example
I used http://www.engtaobao.com/ to ship mine dock.
Dock itself was $14, shipping was $2,5 and probably small (5%) handling fee.

It's finally arrive, $10 buck includes speedpost to Hong Kong, works perfectly with my XZ.

the dock is not yet available.
Is their any posible date on when will it become available? Also for what I've read so far is far more expensive to buy the dock separately as if you buy it all together it would be just 100 dollars more than the tablet on its own.
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
That was the original rumor/hope/expectation (people started these hopes looking at the bundle UK release)
But as of right now, their US release strategy is dock sold seperately for $149.
I dunno if they plan to bundle in the future or not, but that is what it is right now...
I have a problem with all my usb cables. They all worked fine, then they started to become loose where I had to wiggle it to charge. I then brought another one, it wotked perfectly fine, very stable. Now after like a week or two it started to become a loose. I could wiggle it around easily. Now my other usb cables dont even charge. I tried it on two other phones and its the same thing. Any ideas?

A common problem with micro USBs from what I've experienced. I'm saying it based on both my wife's Vibrant and my G2x. I bought the replacement originals from each company but same results.

Haven't paid any import fees yet because it was shipped with FedEx.They normally pay any import fees on your behave and then send you a bill later.Shipping cost around 35 pounds and it arrived in like 2 days(best morning ever:victory and this was all done on ebay.

Imported mine from amazon.de for £496. That includes VAT and shipping but was without the dock.
If you can find a post forwarding company to send a parcel from Ireland to UK Komplett.ie have a very competitive price right now - 64GB with dock for €679, that works out roughly at £540. The dock is an "international" keyboard which is the US layout (no £ or € keys).
Got mine from amazon US first week it came out, had it shipped to a friends villa who was on holiday there. Had it home with me 4 days later for £414.00
Thats 32gb model dock, case and 32gb sd.

Forget that ^^ Just read reviews on them , and thye are supposed to be pretty dodgy
Well it was until first week using it when connecting the dock it snapped the charging port, so now cant use the dock and having to insert charger very carefully due to pins being able to short against each other.
Tried to rma but its not covered by warranty they say and they cant give me a price to repair until i rma it stating i understand i will have to pay, .... but how much?
Funny there tablet , correct dock and its my fault.
I have the tf300 with dock and no issues with that one.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered from them anyway. After closer inspection there were lots of negative reviews but positive ones also. As you those with an axe to grind tend to be more vocal.
Fingers crossed I'll get mine trouble free , if not I paid on my credit card so I'm covered.

Snap I ordered mine to, I paid by paypal so fingers crossed all goes ok for both of us.
I will post here when I get mine will you do the same.
Whats the extra customs price they charge on these guys?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 2
Customs will charge you price + shipping x 10% for duty.
They will then add 20% to the new total as VAT
So you are looking at roughly 32% that the thieving bastards will add if they open your package. It's the risk you take and it can make a 450 pound deal cost 595 pounds in real money.
You take the risk and you could get away with it.
wow thats shocking

My galaxy R charger is not working. So i need to buy a new charger. I tried looking up online but couldnt find the same original charger on any trusted website. Ebay has many but i dont understand which one is "original". Please help me find one online that delivers in India (Delhi). I need an Original one from Samsung.
There is a listing at eBay which looks good to me, but you'd call the seller first (the listing has their phone no) to confirm whether its Original/OEM etc...
Please also confirm the voltage and ampere rating before buying from ANYWHERE
I've bought other items from same seller and the seller looks genuine to me, but still use your judgement.
here is the link: http://www.ebay.in/itm/BRAND-NEW-MI...Accessories&hash=item3f1f996648#ht_4513wt_906
hope it helps!
if u r living in delhi, then go to nehru place, there is official samsung care as well as samsung stores in the market..

Only buy chargers from official SSCs.
Benefits:
1. You get warranty (1 month or more)
2. Not pricey..cost around 350 INR.
3. Is built specifically for our device, so battery lives longer.
You Might find it a bit PSYCHOLOGICALLY expensive to spend 350 INR on a mere charger but remember 350 is worth spending than 2600 INR or more as local chargers damage the phone like anything.

I would try the local Best Buy store.
I'm not 100% sure, but maybe nexus7 cable can work. And if that can be confirmed, you're more likely to find that at staples, best buy, etc.

Note that you still need the TF charger - with standard 5 volt USB, it may take more than 24 hours for a full charge.

I don't know for sure, but I don't think the N7 has the same charger, since I believe that uses a regular micro USB.
Why wouldn't you check caseen. They seem to have TF chargers in stock on their website.

Ahh, thanks for confirming.
I wasn't entirely sure and was basing it on the fact that n7 also built by Asus and that my zagg power supply will only charge my phone and not tablet.
Only after buying zagg power and trying to use it unsuccessfully for tablet, I saw it said online that it won't work with n7, but they didn't mention our tablets, so I thought same cables etc. Oh well, good to know. Now I've just realized I've never seen (irl) or played with a n7 yet, wow.
Good luck op!

I haven't found any local stores that carry any accessories when my cat chewed up mine. Amazon has a few different brands. There is one that houses the wires in rubber instead of the normal plastic that I liked. Its also 6' long which is nice.
