[Q][S3] Is it possible to install TrickDroid 5.0.0 with TWRP 2.3.3.0

Hi,
I have been trying to update my HTC One S(Villec2) to Jelly Bean ever since i heard it's out. Now that TrickDroid 5.0.0
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1910738is out with JB i wanted to Install it on my phone and my question is, will i be able to install TrickDroid 5.0.0 using TWRP v2.3.3.0 or should i change it to JellyBean Official TWRP here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097612

No, use the one you got installed. Your last link is not twrp, but a Rom (c2 ota) to flash with twrp.

These type of threads are not allowed on XDA. You can ask 8 people for the 'Best' ROM and will get 8 different opinions.
Download some of the ROMS and try them for yourself - then decide.

It's not perfect now and only port a few features from sense 7. But hope it will get better.

Yes......A normal One S use Snapdragon S4 CPU. And our One S C2 use older Snapdragon S3 CPU(older than S4), so develop kernel for our device is more difficult. So sad

OTA update doesn't work
After installed Official 3.19.401.101 (4.1.1) ROM from the list and performing steps listed below:
D) ROM is stock, bootloader unlocked, CWM recovery and rooted
- download OTA Rootkeeper from Play Store
- run the OTA Rootkeeper and click protect root
- no need to relock bootloader
- boot to bootloader and fastboot flash the stock recovery
- run the OTA update
- Once done, run OTA Rootkeeper and click restore root
as mentioned here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32090908#post32090908)
tried to run OTA update (OTA_VILLEC2_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.19.401.103-3.19.401.101) . But update after a while shows an error and stops.
What could be the reason for the update failure?

Hello, I have an HTC One S with the S3 processor, running CMW 10.1 ville C2 with kernel 3.0.86 PAC-MAN
A couple questions:
1. How can I enable usb host mode?
2. Is there a ROM or kernel which enables OTG ethernet functionality? I believe the flair kernel supports this but does it function on the S3 processor?

It is great to see this list. I am a new owner of a One S (s3) running CMW 10.1 ville C2 with kernel 3.0.86 PAC-MAN
I am looking for the ability to connect my phone via usb OTG to an ethernet adapter --> LAN port. Is there a ROM or kernel which enables OTG ethernet functionality? I believe the flair kernel supports this for the M7, M8.
Right now the usb host function does not work either.

THREAD UPDATE: Added Flashable Radios and VanirAOSP to ROM list

Nice list but you missing some roms. Under 4.2 you missing BlackBean and Holo version if you want to add that to the list. Under 4.3 you got HoloBeanStalk but not the BeanStalk itself which is funny since you got it under 4.4 and not the Holo one lol.

It seems you made the same mistake with the HoloBeanStalk.

update 17 may - added renovate sense 6 rom
