Here we can discuss all our doubts and clear then with experts advise..
Feel free to spam the thread BUT with sensible queries.
@Erickas : you can add this thread in the second post of AOKP Rom thread.

So let me start.
Sd card is working. :good:
Nav Ring
UI in Tablet mode Fcs
Theme chooser Fcs occasionally.
Status bar color changes wen ever we try to open ne app
Thats all from my side.

hi i have a problem for install this rom, i made a wipe data , cache , dalvik cache and i had format system... but when i flash with a cwm 6 istallation was aborted....
have you a remedy??

for confirmed results use cwm5 by tj_styles. also the signature might be corrupted try redownloading.

reingtones removed to increase space on /system though there still are some left redo a media scan(from dev tools/spare parts).

Media scanning is taking ages for me(~3min)...n evn after installing crossbreeder i experienced sort of lags here and there...should i install any other scripts or apps (like v6supercharger, pimpmyrom, rammanager)..anybody using those plz share here

Guys those who want theme chooser for aokp;
Please copy "themechooser.apk" & "thememanager.apk" from cm10.1's system/app and copy it to aokp system/app...Set permissions and reboot it works...will post ss if u want proof

Use ram manager + crossbreeder...in ram manager as i said earlier in cm10.1 keep balance and set vm heap size to 64mb...and dont touch performance control...

Guys i'm facing a unusual problem on JB roms (CM 10.1 and AOKP). I cannot see all the contacts in contacts app.. eventhough I have around 200 contacts, its displaying only 89 of them. Any solution guys??

how's the battery backup on aokp specially on 3g ?

and for me this AOKP JB is very smooth. no lag. lot of free memory. only some fc on settings. otherwise way faster than cm10.1

Nopes. Not getting fc's while downloading from Play Store. Apps gets downloaded as usual.

Well i am using v6 supercharger along with patched services.jar and crossbreeder..now those scripts are like mother and father to my phone ..super smooth and thanks for themechoser suggestion
Edit:Congrats on becomming RT U r the first to make it from our forum and fit guys r proud of u son :good: :fingers-crossed:

You can use it from any cm10.1 build till now....Im using it from 24/2 build...

Yup..i run everything except kernel, 3g and sd card enhancement mods in that script..

Yes dear friend install root explorer go to system/build.prop before that don't forget to do w/o then give. Long click on the prop file and click open text editor then edit what nd all you want to do. That's it revolt and enjoy. Don't forget the thanks button.

I was facing same error : Status 6 then after tunning status 7. Now after more fine tunning, it fixed, use this attached boot.img . working perfect.
hope this will resolve Logo issue !

Extract bootanimation.zip file.
Replace this bootanimation.zip file in system/media using some root explorer
and set the permissions to rw r r

2.Reboot into Cwm and choose install update from sd card.
3. browse to the folder where you downloaded the file.
4,click on file and update.
5,reboot
6.After that go to setting >language and input> and set English (US) as default.
7.you are done now enjoy the goodness of swipe keyboard.

I did not try to flash the zip, but I opened the zip and installed the launcher and other applications myself and they work flawlessly. So great job here!
If you could, it would be better that you make another flashable zip that loads the stock ROMs launcher back and undo all the settings of your Xperia zip. This would be helpful for people wanting to switch back but are dumb enough to never make a backup before trying out something new.
