I'm pretty sure I flashed a rom without wiping device and Im stuck on splash screen loop. I get into bootloader and it automatically goes into hboot and trys to load an update. When I choose no, it reboots phone again. How can I get into recovery again?
Update: So I let it update the 98*.zip file I believe and now I lost root lol. But I'm back, to get root back do I go through steps 2-3 of the hack kit?
I tried to flash the MIUI rom and it is looping on reboot. I can get to recovery, but it only lets me update the RADIO and then only a reboot option. The reboot goes to the loop again. Am I dead or is there a way around?

Click to collapse
first off, that's not a recovery. that's the bootloader.
You need to remove the passsomethingsomething8something file from your SD card, then try going back to the bootlader. it will then let you choose other options instead of a reboot.
Got it working. Thanks.
Hey I flashed back to stock... been like that for a couple days... Went to cold boot
Now its stuck at the logo... wont go into recovery and freezes each time I try and cold boot
APX isnt working either
I recently went through the efforts to install the rom and kernel for the SGS2E4gT. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514665 this one here, now, I can get it to install, boot, run, everything with no problems, but what I want changed is that after installing the CWM EL26 the phone boots with a gt-I9100 under the Samsung Galaxy S logo. I want to remove this and set it back to the regular boot screen without CWM as the default boot recovery. I've tried useing the auto rooting tool to install a different boot image and fix the logo, but every time afterward the phone won't boot to the system and I have to start from square one.
Does anyone know how to do this where that rom will load with the proper boot image
Anyone, please, I've been at this for hours
I've gone through every option I can think of now, if theirs anyway to just change the boot image that shows when you first load the phone I'd be happy with that.
Hey, so I tried flashing the latest Trickdroid and booted into the system but am now stuck in an infinite bootloop. Gets to the lockscreen and then a toast repeatedly pops up saying process com.android.phone has stopped and then will reboot. I can't get into the recovery using the button combo and can't do it via adb because it keeps rebooting before I have a chance. Any ideas? This isn't the first time I've flashed a ROM but it is the first time this has happened. Thanks in advance.
Fixed. Was finally able to sneak in an adb reboot command and restored a nandroid.
