I just flashed MOAR rom and when i rotate the screen it is upside down. I'm not sure if there is a easy fix. Any ideas?
Flash the stock kernel from beanstown in the first post.
That worked. Thanks.

Hi folks,
I rooted my Transformer last night, I was running stock 3.2 rom.
After rooting I've installed Revolver 3.5 from CWM, everything went fine, I was thinking.
But I've noticed I can't rotate the screen anymore, I tried switching the auto-rotate on and off couple of times but nothing is happening.
I did factory reset prior to installation.
I even tried the latest Prime rom, again - no rotation at all.
Does anyone have the same issue as me?
R.
I've restored to original boot+recover+system and rotation is working ok again.
I guess rooting might messed up something.

After updating to the OTA 4.3 my S3 now has a glitch causing the screen to occasionally black out, mostly during phone calls but also after screen timeouts when i hit the power button to turn the screen back on it'll stay black for awhile, the menu and back buttons light up and the touch sensor still works even when black. it work flawlessly before the update. I tried to root and was successful at it using the saferoot method but because of the know being lock I can not install a custom rom or recovery and the problem was still there because I was still using the 4.3 rom. So I used odin3 vs3.07 and put the stock rom back on and unrooted and the problem is still there. does anyone know how to fix this glitch or does anyone know how i can go back to the 4.2.1 rom or install the 4.4.2 rom because 4.3 has been nothing but a headache for me.

It is currently impossible to downgrade the firmware. If you took the 4.3 OTA, you're stuck with it. As far as bugs, they are being addressed by Verizon and a patch should come soon. Meanwhile, you can try reflashing the 4.3 firmware with Odin to see if that clears up any issues.
Sorry you're having trouble, buddy.

When I flashed the ROMs from the following:
- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2637079 (CM11)
- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2665093 (OmniRom)
I noticed that the screen display is much more blurry than on my original stock ROM or the KitKat stock ROM I later flashed as well (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2767314). It was very obvious when I switched from Omni to stock.
I was wondering if this is normal/intended or if it's just me since no one else seem to be saying anything about it, and is there a way to fix it other than abandoning those ROMs?

Try stock ROM, if it stops then it's a ROM related issue if not then check your cables/screen

I entered CWM again to flash another ROM and this time screen was not flickering.
Then I wanted to flash the Google "L" keyboard and the whole screen was flickering this time.
Never ever happened on this ROM before.
Good to know it can be ROM related, but how can the ROM influence ClockWork Mod ? Sorry, me noob.
I googled it and others seem to have it too. But why doesnt it flicker in "Phone mode" ? What is this all about :S
Im not in the mood to open my device now. I hope it wont die. :S
Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem? My OPO has no backlight after it boots up. The backlight is fine during the initial boot up (the powered by android page) but it disappears right after that page. Everything else works fine! How do I know? I shine torchlight onto the screen and I can see the LCD pixel to be working but NOT the backlight. Any help? Thanks!
Unlocked and rooted with CM12 nightlies installed before backlight disappeared. Done everything suggested for corrupted memory, bootloop, hard bricked etc. I am currently on stock unrooted CM11s with stock recovery.
How did you flash CM11S back onto your device?

Fastboot mode, unzipped CM11S and flash images.
You flashed everything from within the stock image zip?

Yup I did. I followed the exact instructions for changing from colour OS to cm11s, I reckon that is the best way to restore the OPO to original state.
It definitely is. Seems like it's possibly a kernel issue, have you tried a custom kernel to see if it changes the situation?

Sigh I tried both franco and boeffla and it still does not work. Thanks anyway!
If not working, I suggest you flash Calkulin's Stock CM11S XNPH44S. It's all stock with root. I always use this build when I need go back to stock, saves all fastboot hassle.

That was what I did before creating this thread. Maybe I should play around with other CM11 roms+their other kernels see which one works
Does the backlight work in recovery?
And I assume (sounds like yes) you did a full factory reset?
Once had a similar problem caused by an 3rd-party app that controlled the backlight. If you did a factory reset that shouldn't be the case, though. logcat?
I tried franco and it works! Not sure why though. At first I was having system ui fc which is a bug with r37+cm12 roms. I reverted to cm11 roms+r37 and it worked. Still, no backlight while booting though, but the backlight turned back on once it finishes booting up. Thanks all!
