Recently moved from CM10 to 10.1, and flashed the 3.18 ATT radios. Everything works except receiving MMS. I've flashed back to the 2.20 radios, and double checked all the APN settings (It's on ATT LTE, I'm in a LTE market). Can't think of anything else to try, anyone have any ideas? Thanks
Are you able to use mobile data? MMS travels thru data. I used the WAP APN settings and Pta as well. You may need to call AT&T and have them cancel your registration from the vlr

Yep, mobile data works just fine. I'll be near an ATT store in a couple of days, I guess I'll swing by and see what they can do for me. Thanks for the idea

Basically I am an indirect sales agent for AT&T. I have been carrying the inspire for almost 2 weeks now and my AT&T rep is telling me that they don't have an internet package set up for ANR lines for the 4G so I basically have to use WiFi. I am leaving for New York tomorrow and would really like my internet to work.
I was just wondering if anyone here was an indirect agent with an ANR line and your internet is working. If so can you tell me what code is on your plan? TIA

I am on an ANR line and yeah I've been told the new data plans are unavailable yet for us. The timetable is somewhere in March, but we'll see.. I used the APN workaround until I rooted and the ROMS I flash seem to automatically go to the APN that works.

I have been having problems with my mms since I first received my Nexus. MMS take 3 days to send and downloading mms gets stuck at downloading and never opens. I did some research and from what I understand it has something to do with your APN settings, try searching for the correct APN settings for your area and provider. APN settings can be found in ---> SETTINGS>WIRELESS&NETWORKS>MOBILE NETWORKS>
ACCESS POINT NAMES
** I have yet to fix my MMS issues, if you find something I would love to know

Yea, I don't know if re-flashing the ROM would be of any use. Some people argue that MMS only work if you have a data plan with your provider, but I've read otherwise as well. I've also heard of Nexus users getting more up-to-date sim cards and that fixed their issues, maybe worth a try? You might want to give your provider a call and ask them for the correct APN settings or at least explain your problem to them and see if they offer any assistance.
Ok i am on the ICS leak and my carrier is Straight Talk. I know there are a few other ST users here. What apn setting are working for You.
The settings i was using on GB are not working completely on ICS. I cant send or receive mms messages.
Also i cant get Wifi tethering to work when i enable it i get a message "Data Link Lost"
Anyone have any luck deleting the AT&T apn's???

I'm also using a different carrier and the only solution I found was editing the database by hand..
I created a post with the proceeding few days ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782492
Just rebember to take care on what you change in databases so you don't soft brick your device!
This change that is described in the post I tested on my device and worked fine..

Thanks i finally have everything working except Wi-Fi tether. I have disabled the entitlement check. Whrnever i activate the Wi-Fi. hotspot i get "data link list"

No i have not got mms working but i did get tether working
I just gave up on mms.
I can get mms messages but i can't send them

Had the same problem except my data would cut out all the time! Tried the dun mod but whenever id change anything it would deactivate the "carrier enable" and the apn would no longer work from then on. I recreated a new apn but left proxy out.. solved my data problems.
I'll test mms next

have data but no MMS

I had the same problem. So i called to Claro (A mobile company, like AT&T) and they helped me.
Jimbridgman's ics leaks mms works... I sent a pic to a friend of mine this morning. Timmytim s I sent over wifi but not thru data... I'm trying to to figure out difference

Adding onto what eksasol said, you MUST have a new ATT LTE sim, it will NOT work if you have a sim purchased before Sept 13 (when ST launched LTE).
You can get the new sim directly from ST for like 7 bucks last i checked. Good luck!
Guys I need help. Set up my phone yesterday but I am not receiving mms. Did a web search and found an article on z5-compact apn for Tmobile but shocker it doesn't work. Anyone ha e the specific apn settings to go by for mms?

Did you get it working? I'm having the same problem.
Make sure when you update your APN, you reboot the phone. Had same issues trying to get MMS, checked all settings several times, then rebooted, worked like a charm.
any one still having problems with mms? I just found the fix after 2 days of non stop trial and error. oh and lets not forget restarting the phone a trillon times. it takes forever to boot back up
