The pricing as other threads have probably shown, prove that sam's club has a silly pricing point for their wireless devices. They had the phone for $144.00 and right across the street at a tmobile retail store I would have had to buy it for $294.00. So, if you have the ability to pick it up at sammy's or costco!

With contract tho right u had to upgrade???

Oh yeah. Def. with the upgrade or new line. But its still cheaper by far!

Radioshack has it for the same price.

What about if you don't have an upgrade? T-Mobile wants me to pay $499 because I upgraded 8 months ago for the Nexus S.

Without a contract extension, which you aren't eligible for, good luck finding anything below MSRP

I bought mine on ebay for 400 (380 + 20 for S&H). With Tmobile I would have had to pay around 549.99. Yeah right they were going to get that much from me. I also have my HTC G2 on ebay at the moment to help with the cost of the new phone. But this phone is definitely worth the upgrade, its so fast!

Ima just try to find one on Craigslist bc my chick is spoiled and gets what she wants yeah. I just got her sidekick 4g for her bday on 4th of July and now she wants this mytouch 4g slide bc she doesn't like Samsung and bc there's no camera flash kinda gay. She came from the old mytouch 3g slide so that's why I just figured she like the sidekick but yalls know women so yeah but let me know if u cone across ne brand new ones from cheap eBay Craigslist whatever

Costco (near me anyway) does not sell phones without a contract. They told me I couldn't even choose a T-Mobile Value plan - it's Classic or no sale.

Costco is in agreement with the carriers that it cannot undercut carriers with off contract price. Don't bother looking for that anywhere. Ever.
Craigslist, however, is another story altogether.

Here in Saint Louis, they all have them for preorder and they will price match Radio Shacks $149.99. I just canceled my radio shack order and will be ordering mine today because i have a ton of gift cards plus i think there protection plan is the best. If its available on there website, which it is they can order it and it will ship on the 6th

the bestbuy here told me if i brought me phone in brand new (no matter where it's from) they would let me have their black tie...let's hope so.

i'm friends with several at the mobile department, if it can be done they'll do it. if not, i'll wait until they have it in stock, return mine to at&t, and buy it there. i like black tie that much...although i've yet to use it.

I'm wondering if they'll price match radio shack at $49.99. I'm hoping they will of course. I used to work at Best Buy, so I hopefully may be able to convince a BB Mobile employee to price match.

I also went to a best buy in stl and I ask the best buy employee, so when's the htc one x coming out?! I think it's going to be another month atleast. And that was Sunday he said this. Lol the store I went into was a best buy mobile store ONLY! But didn't know they would price match or I would of gone with them.

Still no word on the BB price? They usually are the cheapest around. I guess either way I could price match to $150, but I'd be surprised if they didn't already beat it.

I believe from when I did my pre order that their price is 200 for a upgrade. It should be the same price as ATT maybe as low as 150.00.
I went with them as I signed up for that free 50 dollar gift card with a upgrade earlier this year so that on top of the fifty I used to pre order and some other gift cards means I will be paying about 75 for it.
As for the info I would wager that they will send out a official email around Friday saying it will be ready for pick up on Sunday. That is what happened with my Galaxy Note I had on pre order.

Where are people getting their S IV

So now the S IV has been rooted. People have had their hands on it for a little while.
eBay sellers still show pre-orders. Can't find a shop with stock since the phone hasn't been released.

S4 isn't for sale anywhere - but in Denmark you can make a pre-order in about 20 shops at the moment. First delivery end of April.

Right and stores in Germany and the UK are also taking pre-orders.

Does BestBuy have an advantage over AT&T? I am asking because I am trying to decide if I want to go through AT&T to buy mine or another brick & mortar store. I'm not going to buy online because I want to be able to physically see and hold what I will be buying in this case. I plan on buying it at full price, but that might change if I can get a deal on a plan if I subsidize it through AT&T.

They usually charge less. Also if you get their warranty, it's much better. Covers everything and you don't have to pay for a replacement or repair.
AND, the next time you purchase a phone, they will buy the old one back. Usually not as much as you'd get on eBay for it, but could help defray the costs of your next phone.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like a pretty good place to buy from but I am a little unsure if BestBuys is going to even be in business in 2 or three years when I go to get another phone. I guess its going to come down to how much less they can sell them for versus AT&T.

32G Galaxy S4: Amazon or Costco?

Alright, I see the 32G SGS4 in stock with AT&T. Did anybody see this one on Amazon or at Costco yet?

I asked at my local Costco and they said they haven't recieved any indication that they'll have the 32gb version, at least anytime soon. I'm planning on just returning my 16gb to Costco next week and just buying the 32gb from att.

They had the black 32GB in stock for $200. I also got some information on their protection plan which is better than Square and Trades. It's $100 up front and the deductible is only $25. It's a shame my upgrade is in July 1st.
Good luck getting them. The HTC One was completely sold out though, only because they didn't get many of them. But it looked like the SGS4 was readily available.

Are you certain they had the black 32gb in stock? I spoke with our local costco who said they do not have it and at this point will not have it, and he checked with the Azusa store and they had no indication that they were carrying or would carry the 32gb?
May give them a call directly in a second, just wondering if you were able to confirm in person with the device that they had the 32gb?
I did see on costco's site that they list the 16gb version as $249 - $50 discount for a total of $199, rather than just straight $199. Wonder if that was the confusion?

I wrongfully assumed so due to the 250 price point being marked down when it's Costco mistake for advertising the 16Gb was 250 before the sale.

Argh!!! I had to go through the Verizon help center agent, and she did try to help me by referring me to Best Buy and using their online purchasing system. I live 40 miles north of Tulsa and "running into the local cellphone store" is not on the bucket list.
guess I will have to be glad that all of the upgrade fees were revoked, Best Buy gave me a value card towards future purchase.... Didn't match your deal, but better than going online at Verizon.

I bought the Note 3 from Costco last year and they only charged me tax off the sale price of the phone. Hope this is still the case. I'm thinking about adding two lines and getting the S5 for my folks.

its a little trickier... they will only charge you the "sale" price but they also tax you on the sub price so tax is over 50 bucks.
just order it online.. est delivery for May 1 ..I also ordered one on Amazon but its est is for Jun... lets see who wins

I cancelled the Costco order because the Amazon order shipped and arrived already.. both had the same price.
if you don't want to wait I would look and see if Amazon still has them in stock.
