Hey. I'm using zedomax's app2sd script. In my storage it shows that the script works fine, I.e the internal memory has been swapped with the external memory. But when I go to the application manager, it shows that I have only 11gb of space, I.e. the space of my internal memory. Even when I install apps from the play store, it gets installed only on my internal memory. When I go to the file mananger though, it shows that it is using my external SD card as my internal memory. Do I have to move any folder or change something for the app to get installed on the external SD? I'm attaching the screenshots.
Thanks for any help in advance.

It is possible, you just can't move system apps!!! Unless the apps on the internal SD don't show up??
You can move apps to internal SD but you can't move it to external SD

If memory serves, dont you have to use a hidden linux ext4 partion for apps2sd to put the apps in?

I have partitioned my sd card in ext. format for more space. And have the internal memory full but there is still a lot of space on the sd card ext. Partition for apps. I just want to move the apps from internal memory to this partition so that my apps work fine and i have my internal memory with free space.
The problem might seem easy to solve. Just by deleting or moving apps from internal memory, but for me its complicated because i don't know which apps are stored on the internal memory and the sd card partition for a2sd... In the apps storage all the apps are shown together without showing which is on the sd ext. partition and which on phone's internal memory. i don't know to move the apps from phone memory to sd card partitioned memory. Any help is appreciated

Use app2sd from play store

Either do as suggested above, or download ROM Toolbox and under App Manager, you can move apps to the SD card and set applications as system apps aswell.

I tried them but my prob is i need to delete or move apps from internal memory... And when i delete any app there is more space freed on sd ext not internal memory. I need to know which apps are stored on the internal memory. Which i can't seem to know

Queations to all....
Should a App2sd app be able to work on our Notes???
The reason im asking is because I had issues getting my 64g card to mount (ended up having to flash a recent OTA update from Samfirmware.com). I then wanted to move some of my apps to the 64g card but App 2 SD from the market says -
"The device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary extremal storage is emulated. Moving app to SD may not be supported by this device. "
Is this normal? I have never come across this before on any Android device before! Or is it something to do with the 64g card? or the Notes file tree?

Yes it's normal. Samsung make some different approach here.
In my perspective when you used to choose "move to sdcard" in apps manager, the apps move from internal memory to internal storage (/sdcard).
(External microSD card is not on discussion so far, im only talking about tablet internal storage).
Now by default in Samsung devices all apps are going to /sdcard, so you dont have to move them beacuse the are alreday there.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
The solution for me (I have white SGN 10.1 16GB) is use DirectoryBind, i can have 20+ GB of games in external microSD Card.

Think your correct, makes sense anyway!!!
Could you elaborate more on this directory Bind thing you mentioned? ??

DirectoryBind main feature is to link/bind folders with data that are in external micro sd card, to empty folders with the same name that must be in /sdcard/Android/data or /sdcard/Android/obb. So games and apps thinks they're using internal storage but in fact data is in external micro sd card. This way you save the 11 gb reserved for storage.

I'm getting this message when I try to move apps to my SD card. The device dies not have a real primary external storage or the primary external storage is emulated.
I downloaded the OI File Manager and when I click on storage there is a link at the top that says emulated when I click on emulated it shows a pic of my SD card and beside it it says zero. How can I fix this issue? I'm running orca-nightly-i605jota-20130328. Build-JDQ39 kernel 3.0.64cm g8823489 4.2.2 base i605vrall4

Hi All, i have my SD card formatted as internal Storage. So i assumed that until the whole space is used, i should not be getting the storage space running out error. I downloaded a couple of movies and this happened. Any help on how would i identify which partition is external one and which is internal one. One thing i know that apps are getting installed on SD card only. Just need to move some file to external, how would i do it.
