After giving some time to suddenly closing this thread out, I decided that it was unfair to my self and also unfair the the AOKPCB Broccoli users. I closed the thread out without thinking things through and should have just kept it on hold and left the download links up for all to enjoy if they wanted. With all this being said... I have decided to reopen this. As of right now, the download links are from my previous builds... But... I will be posting a new build.. Shortly.

Instructions:
No need to wipe anything, the ROM has the option to wipe or not in the installer.

Team Kang created AOKP... Not Nun. . This is the updated build 37.. Which includes fixes/updates and Team Broccoli works off of latest aokp builds and add their own flavor. So in short to answer your question.. Any AOKP based ROM you download is going to have a similar layout..

Def works... If your trying from your phone you need to set the options to desktop mode in order to see it... Otherwise use your computer... Ill upload to a different site next time.

Select link and then internet settings and check request desktop site.
Or wait 20 mins... uploading to dif site that works better from phones

Oh man, I just re-flashed R1 this afternoon! LOL I guess i'll continue to watch the nightly builds to see what awesomeness is to come!

Running nice and smooth...it seems even more themed than ROMs...I don't remember the keyboard being themed in his...I like it lol

Ive been discussing the game plan with Scar and remicks from team broccoli and I am going to continue to port the nightly releases and provide links here, but they are also going to include the port on their end for download as i complete them... Still working out details... But one thing is for sure.. You are going to want to keep a close eye on this thread.. Your def going to want to be a part of these builds they release.

What is the battery life like on this rom compared to cm9 and aokp? Curious because i would like flash but i go to 12 hour shifts tomorrow and need have as much battery life as i can get and right now i have a good set up going. Responses would be great

I ran it for a while. It does have the same issues as any cm10 rom as it is based off of cm.

That is normal for going to jb it has a different layout for partitions. You just need to install it again

Is this the first time you posted there is things that need to be posted first like features, version and other info you really should read the rules... I would have flashed this rom but with not knowing anything about it I don't thinks to... Come on get you stuff together before you post!

I am sorry guys I would not touch this I just got burned on my galaxy note by flashing a rom that the poster said was for my phone and it was not a lot of them as I was reading more. All of the ones that people were having problems with were name liquid....SOMETHING depending on the phone

nope ive tryed wiped cache dalvik format data reset still status 7 so until further work and what not for devving im a go back to tweaked ( i can't unfortunetly go with jb 4.1.2 due to it likes to hide my music and not allow me to play my music through apollo or any music app for that matter and ive played music and used 4.1.2 roms before but still no avail so im going back to the 4.0.4 rom's until either i get a solid fix and solution as to why 4.1.2 won't play nor list my music on my sd card ( ext has music and it aint bad ) anyway ill stick with 4.0.4 otherwise i would go with 4.1.2 but no has been able to come up with an answer nor solution so back to 4.0.4 i go "yay" granted the roms are badass so

Liquid ROMs have always been sketchy... sorry op.

Slimbean is 80mb lol
But I just went to flash and it said the file name then it said BAD and installation aborted? Redownloading now to try it again. I'm using official 6.0.1.4 cwm. Wiped data and caches and I always format data system and cache under mounts as well just to be safe.

Everybody needs to quit griping, try it if you don't like it move on. Report bugs and similar problems, or start a discussion thread. I welcome anybody trying to make something for FREE and encourage others to try themselves its not easy( I know). Now.... Happy flashing and Happy New Years

Guy's and Gal's.. we all need to play nice. Seems like alot of bashing on a rom that no one seems to know much about. I used liquidsmooth back in the beginning of decemer for a while. It is an up and coming project by some good developers. this rom is a bare bones rom like slim rom. I have attached some screenshots from my build. I have pm'd the developer to ask permission as I do not want to take over his post. I do have a build that I can post if you guy's would like.

I couldn't get it to work correctly..it flashed fine but is there a certain gapps I'm supposed to flash? It boot loops no matter what for me. I tried cyanogenmods' cm10 gapps from wiki.cyanogenmod.org and even without gapps just to see.

This Rom is no longer supported. Quoted from Bajee, I'm taking a break from rootbox for an undetermined amount of time. I'm not fed up with complaints or whiners, I simply don't have enough time on hand to manage this project at the moment. RootBox is not dead, keep that in mind.

JB 2012/10/11 gapps is the normal for most cm10/4.1.2 based ROMs.

If you don't like it don't use it... Unicorn Porn is part of AOKP..
As for RootBox Rom I will not be doing any more work with it. The original developer has decided to step down for an un-determined amount of time so no updates will be available...

This is still JB 4.1.2, since we're still building PA with a CM base. PA's new AOSP 4.2 base appears to be on the same 'jellybean' branch, which is why (I'm assuming) the version still went up to 3.00. I didn't change this, it was built that way from PA source.
Disclaimer: I do not claim to be a developer... However, by READING, SEARCHING, and TRYING, I've learned some tricks of the trade. One of them has been building from source. All I am doing is putting a few pieces together to make it compile, all the hard work has been done by h8rift and mg2195. I test these builds on my own device before any release, but I do not claim it will work for everyone. ALWAYS have a nandroid in case of emergencies. PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT
This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR
ParanoidAndroid's newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

​For those that don't know what Evervolv is, Evervolv is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) rom. We're fully open sourced and encourage it with no restrictions. The work put into this rom is community driven and and Evervolv Project is made up of numerous members and contributors.
Right now the current source we are working on is Jellybean (Android 4.3).

Bug Reporting:
Please provide the following info:
If the device was hard reboot, please provide the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
If the device was soft reboot or is "bootlooping", please run a logcat and provide the full output.
Submit using EV Paste when possible.
Known Bugs:
Music is skipping. It's in the source not a build problem. They know about it and are working on a fix.

I'm recommending TWRP 2.6.1.0 for now. I've had issues with 2.6.3.0
Install Directions:
1)Factory Reset
2)Wipe System --- unless already on Evervolv Rom
3)Install Rom and Gapps
!!! Do not try to restore Data partition.. It will cause a no boot situation. YOU ARE WARNED!!
--- Unless you are already on Evervolv Rom
4)Allow Rom to boot, Let settle and Enjoy.

New version up in Downloads section. They've added in the am pm selector to the clock. As always, hit the thanks button to keep getting updates on this Rom.
The new option for am-pm selector is in the Toolbox in settings.
Please take the time to rate this thread and review this rom. To do so from the XDA app, select webview by hitting the options softkey. You will have to log in in order to rate or make a review. Thanks for doing so. It lets other know about this Rom before flashing it.

Making a new build right now using linaro for the whole rom. I haven't updated in s while because this is such a low demand rom. Will be available later today.

Edit: having some issues getting a clean build. Will post for updates.
Edit2: Got a build but it did not recognize radio. Wifi worked just no network connection.
Edit 3: another build but crashed upon boot. Trying again.
Edit4: Build crashed while compiling, they've changed something in their source my computer doesn't like.. Trying to fix it... May take a little longer than I thought. Sorry guys.
Edit5: I have a build going with Linaro optimization, it built ok this morning but forgot something, so it'll be a fresh build tonight.

Update uploaded. This is a full linaro build, and will fly. The kernel, rom, everything is linaro built.

Thank you. I just took what was already there, and amped it up a little. lol. This rom is primarily about stability, but I wanted a little more speed out of it. I do this for you guys.

Just wanted to report back I noticed some issues with NFC and the charging animation while off. Other then that its great. For a beta pretty good.

Well, the Evervolv from last week will be the last one for 4.3.1.
Evervolv had an update and is moving to KitKat! So I'll be working on that one and try to get it out as soon as possible. No ETA. Hit the thanks button to let me know I should keep this alive. :silly:
