installation
you can use cwm or twrp recoveries
you can make a simple wipe cache and dalvik cache after install this rom
you can use every kernel (phenom kernel, k^kernel, castagnait kernel, nexus kernel)
use only gapps baked for this rom please (if you use another gapps please dont made a full wipe)

Hey guys,I have been working on roms from the time i entered XDA. But now slowly,I'm shifting my focus to kernels. After succesfully patching bigmem with our kernel,I thought to open a new thread to keep my releases readily available and keep Xistance's fantastic guide free for the purpose it was actually made. But I do have very less time because of personal issues,so features will be implemented slowly and steadily. I will do a version for ics soon enough.

No it isn't. Arco didn't release his sources for JB kernel yet. These builds are just his ICS 3.0.x sources.

Does anyone know how to patch features like bigmem exactly ?
Just a quick word from me for the new kernel (3.0.55). Since now, I didn't have any reboot or shutdown. It's very smooth, only downsides are no USB, HQ Youtube videos and obviously camera. As long as I don't suffer from any random reboot, that's a daily for me! Great work doomsday!

About the roms
All the roms I compile is as close to stock as it goes.
Kernel included in the rom has stock settings and that means, you as a user can not change the maximum CPU freq. of the kernel
and the CPU frequencies are for Sensation 1180Mhz and Sensation XE 1512Mhz.
I prefer stock CPU freq. on the kernel for stability and good battery time, for those who want to change their CPU freq. I have added
a kernel further down in this post.
Install
1. Normal procedure, first time installation wipe of all " wipe data/factory reset "
2. Install, reboot and when that is finished reboot back to recovery
3. Install gapps and reboot
4. Finished
Update
1. Install the rom "no wipe needed"
2. Reboot and when that is finished reboot back to recovery
3. Install gapps again and reboot " needed after each update "
4. Finished

Because of all the trouble I have with Ubuntu, I decided a week ago to replace all my computers to something else, it became Arch Linux, and of course when you change it brings a lot of setup, but now I'm back home with everything, I have a reasonably fast laptop but it behaved like win7 with ubuntu, the hardware I have is I7 processor, 8gb ram memeory and 256 gb ssd hard drive, now I start up up in 5 seconds with everything and compile a rom for about 45 min.

I'd take a wild guess and say 1080p recording/playback works. On the other hand Autofocus (Camera HAL Issue??) may not work as the other 4.2.1 ROM's don't have that sorted yet. I may be wrong though.

Im use ur stock one,its about 4hours Hsdpa nonstop and about 12hours in random using(edge,sometime hsdpa,no gps etc)

i wanted to release it earlier but camera was not working and next was that it did not boot
for both i found a solution
and for now unfortunately no linaro toolchain 4.7.3 from christopher83 i have to look if it works --> does not work
for now just gcc 4.6 works (or i messed something around)
the kernel is pre OC to 1600 mhz

lets see maybe not every rom and for the next few months ( the development of 4.2.2 has a stop someday)
as i know you need no inverted gapps because of the dark carbon switch (invention of slimrom team)
sorry not all is inverted like the playstore
Just my first impression: the rom looks promissing. However, I've had some FCs (Gmail, Settings). 3D works miserably. Have you included the new driver? TTS starts working after replacing the audio_policy.conf file with the old version.

yes the 3D driver and you can flash this zip it is for all roms but i think tomorrow i make a new version too many things which annoying me

no it was the old drivers but the toolchain have also some influence on the rom

No problem: I don't use VOIP. Seriously: you may leave it as is and add information in the OP what to do when one needs TTS instead of VOIP.
I'll leave this rom on my phone for further testing.
EDIT: I've flashed 3D driver. Graphics looks much better. AnTuTu failed finishing OpenGL test at first attemp. I run it again, and everything went well. Of course benchmark score increased at once from 4401 to 5695 (1401 MHz/ondemand/row).

No,just a wipe cache and dalvik cache are fine
EDIT : Impossible to build for kumquat (missing a lot of codes in hardware and framework) ,and i have no time to fix everything
So,new nightly is coming
Also is impossible to add HALO,there's a difference in API
So,psx kernel has been added and more features to come !
And soon,i'll release a gold version,with a lot of tweaks and features
EDIT2 : Compiling new build,hope to don't get any errors with kernel
So...bad news,as i thought,PSK still giving me some problems gr...

A reboot normally fixes this issue for me. I've had it occur on about 3 4.4.x rom's so far.

I tried that to no avail and never had this issue on any other 4.4.x rom but flashing Elemental X fixed the issue which is usually the first thing I do with other ROMS. Definitely a stock kernel issue

Nope...Stock kernel that comes with the ROM should work fine. Of course, i don't own bullhead (only angler) so I would need someone to test it out once I release tomorrow's builds

It seems that your platform_kernel_lge_bullhead is private ? i can't find it on github. Just trying to build the rom from source

Currently you can only build with pre-built kernel If you are getting that error when u lunch remove the following lines from /device/lge/bullhead/photon.dependencies: Remove these lines
That should do the trick

Please update your OP so it only includes the features that are actually included in the ROM. Your features list is very misleading and people are downloading and flashing it expecting features that are not yet available.
As a suggestion - an existing features and a WIP features section would be nice. It would tell us what is really available and what is in the works.

Everything in the OP is in the ROM (besides DT2W)....And more? What r u talking about. I said I am adding more features (not listed in OP) in today's build

Mostly DT2W and then the previous post where you stated that Photon Settings was also not available. Maybe I misunderstood, if I did, I apologize.
