Hi guys, I have a collection of stock launcher and widgets ported from other Android phones and work with most devices with either root or no root. I am posting here a few links and would like you to share any other ported launchers you know about.
I do not take any credit for these. Most of them have collected from XDA and other forums!

Thanks, downloading now :good:
S4 Weather Widget
Downloaded the AccuWeather widget. Flashed it and all seemed to go as planned. Went to open contacts and it just kept force closing. Did a restore to prior to installing the mod and contacts started working again. I did clear cache and dalvik prior to and after flashing. I know it wasn't an issue with flashing. So seems to be an issue with the mod. I am running Jelly Beans 14. Also tried it on a fresh install of Jelly Beans 14 on wife's phone and same thing, contacts force close.
Check out my thread, I have a links to a few more too! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206668

Hey guys, just wanted to share an ICS search widget mod that works perfectly on our Notes. (Gingerbread) I found this app on the market awhile back, but was pulled down for an unknown reason. I did not write this app & unfortunately I do not even know who to give credit to.
Either way, this is the best method I've found for getting a high res ICS themed search widget - the voice icon also works perfectly. Just install the APK as you would any other application (file manager, root explorer, etc) and the widget will show up in your widget menu.
Here is a screenshot and download link :

You'll need a launcher that allows you to resize widgets, otherwise it will be 4x1 like the stock widget. I use ADW EX w/ 6x1. I know Go Launcher, Launcher Pro, SPB shell 3d, and many others will allow you to resize it.

How did you get your dock to look like that? I have the background image and the ICS icons, however when I set the background that white line touches the top of the icons rather than there being a "gap" like there should be!
I use Kovdev's ICS theme which i believe works with ADW and Go launcher.
Just reporting it worked for me in my Ace...
Downloaded! Great share!!

I am looking for any screen Locker or Launcher software in the style of Lenovo phones. It looks like a glover leaf but it is meant to be a lotus flower.
As I am already searching for a while all hints are appreciated also if they lead to a ROM or anything that's not 100% what I am looking for.
This video shows the lock tool I am searching:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-Qj3PXR-eU
It would be great to have that and to get that ROM from the video. Unfortunately I don't speak any Russian.
In this XDA Developer Thread aalopez10 asks for the launcher. Unfortunately the apk file there is in Chinese, the widget is 3x3 but I need a 4x* widget.
And the result on my phone (Lenovo A750) does not look as nice as the screenshots posted there.
A non-text version of that launcher can be found here: http://www.4shared.com/android/gSVXdxoy/Launcher_signed.html?refurl=d1url
Another disadvantage of that widget is that it can't be modified. You cannot define the buttons yourself.
I also tried the ROM by cybermaus: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1650014
It has an app called Lotus, Magic Launcher or GoLauncher for Lenovo. But this version of Magic Launcher has two buttons that cannot be userdefined and it is also in Chinese.
Thanks in advance!
So here are serveral pictures of what I am looking for:

(From other thread, CES 2011)
(From Video, russian ROM?)
Launcher-Widget
(Lenovo K800)
(Lenovo A520)
(LenovoWidget.apk - did not look that good on my phone)
Update: I found both the Go Launcher with the right theme and the Idea Widget / LenovoLeWidget in the GB 2.3.6 ROM from cybermaus.
But unfortunately these files are odexed and I cannot use them on ICS. Is there any way to deodex or whatever needet to install them on ICS?
milocker has a great lotus lockscreen clone. Peep it out.
Thank you, good hint. I found lot's of very beautiful lockscreens but so far nothing that comes close to that Go Launcher lotus lock screen above.
Do you have any more hints or maybe a link?
Only launcher

I'm on DP Rom, using Zeam launcher. The clock is a UCCW widget.
The 't' icon, is the Nook bluetooth tethering widget.
The only problem i have, is that when i turn my watch on, there is a split second delay for the UCCW widget to update to the correct time
No device should be without the mandatory "show your home screen" thread
I like your idea of using UCCW for the clock widget but found that using One More Clock has some nice presets already. Anyway, all I actually wanted to ask is what the best way for taking screen shots on the MotoACTV are... I'm spoiled with the pre-installed tools on my TF101 and the Note II but i still have a tool I downloaded from here a long time ago.
Thanks!

How did you install widgets? I'm on the latest DP rom and every widget that I've install doesn't show up under the list (only the stock ones do) when trying to add a widget to zeam launcher or launcher 7. I just tried one more clock with no avail.

You have to go into Manage Applications and find your installed widget, then click the "move to phone" button.

Hello! Xperia tipo user here.
the phone obviously has the timescape app installed (because it shows up under settings/apps) but the icon is not accesible in the app drawer nor is the widget available.
I accessed the timescape app itself using the timescape share widget, if you hit the settings icon in the widget, then in the top left you hit the back arrow next to services, then next to settings, you get to the actual timescape app.

I was just wondering why I (or we) can't access it from the app drawer or have the widget.
I have had 2 other xperias in the past (xperia x 10 mini and xperia x10) and I always liked timescape. I'm currently using the tipo because my other phone got damaged and in a few months I can have a free phone from my carrier, so I got the tipo in the mean time.
I searched around XDA and I think the timescape widget and app is also missing from other phones with ICS (phones that used to have it). did sony get rid of it?
dont u have 1- Timescape Feed 2- Timescape Friends 3- Timescape Share (these 3 widgets) on ur phone ? Yes we dont have on app drawer.
I only have 'Timescape Friends' and 'Timescape Share' widgets
the phone is unrooted and untempered with.
download this pack and try installing normal way from storage ( only feedwidget first). and check widgets if its enable.
thank you!
now I have a (really simplistic) timescape widget, but still can't access the actuall timescape app from the app drawer.
but thank you for the widget though

Hello everyone.
I searched a lot for this Launcher since I got registered in XDA and I found it on a Custom ROM at another specific forum related only to Motorola devices.
This Launcher is named as launcher3.apk, deodexed and is expected to run on any device running 4.4.x (or newer).
The way this is different from the others is the possibility of customize number of Rows and Collums on the Workspace, enable or disable Google Search Bar, resize widgets like on the Samsung phones (due some google widgets can't be resized if 4 or less colums as default on any version), clear, smooth and low battery consumption.
It also has the transparent app drawer and transparent app drawer button different from the google now launcher and older launchers that appears the ICS google launcher or the Jelly Bean one. If someone wants to edit it and recompile so that it could work in 4.3 or older versions, feel free to do it.
I hope all you enjoy it. [emoji23] [emoji23] :good:

I don't like nova launcher that much. It has problems with the icons every time we restart the phone.
