well, I ve search the forum but cannot find any solutions
I love the photowidget from arc veryveryveryveryvery much but I just cannot make it work on my X10
my rom is the latest CM V06,
its said that this apk works on V053,but no works after 054
any ideas or solutions ?
After install
Goto system folder using root explorer and do the following in your build.prop file
Edit the following line
From
ro.product.manufacturer= "whatever name here''
To
ro.product.manufacturer= Sony Ericsson
Add a new line
ro.semc.timescape_keys=Sony_Ericsson_Xperia
Can someone post the apk ? And add the line after that changed one or at the end ?

well sounds difficult for me...
well, no "ro.product.manufacturer= "whatever name here''" in my build.prop, only"ro.product.manufacturer= Sony Ericsson"
so I add the new line above the latter one , then reboot
but still nothing works
add the line after that changed one or at the end

but the same problem~I can not install the apk!
Ive change the build.prop and still , I cannot install it
so I put the apk in the system/app and edit the rights
still nothing happens

very strange. I installed V54 good for>> V06.
I will try to give you a different version.

alright, but my rom is the CM6 V06 and I dont use software like ADW ,
so it must be a SE home right?

yes ,it working only SE home (arc or semchome (x10 2.1)).

it works for me if don't install the timescape but can't install after flashing timescape also it can't be restored in titanium. backup
if someone can find a way please let us know

copy photowidget.apk and paste it at /system/app (use Root explorer)
hold your finger on apk and choose Permissions
first column check all, second first box, third none
push OK
and install it

New owner of GT2 10.1 and first thing i did is to install CM10!
Great performance since then,everything works like a charm!
Only that i miss Allshare Play apk. wich is a must for me cause i use the Dual view option with my tv.
Can anyone help me finding the apk pls ????

Thank you my friend but im not new in forums.I've searched many threads using this "little search box" u mentioned
but if u read carefully my first post u will see that im interested in the Dual View function the stock Allshare Play app has.
The one u show me, misses this function .
I tried to extract the apk from a stock rom and install it on CM10 but i couldnt even if i "played" with the permissions.
Any ideas please?

Hi,
I just got the leaked Jelly Bean 4.1.2 ROM for Xperia T and extracted the keyboard, which has Swipe feature built in. And a fellow user, kristiancarl, already uploaded the Xperia S version previously, which was running fine except on where it had instant search enabled, like YouTube search, Google search, Play Store etc etc. But this new one works perfectly EVERYWHERE.
I am very new to this stuffs and in fact spent more than half an hour finding the proper libs and all, to get it working :laugh: but to me the main thing is that it's working and working damn fine :laugh:
CWM zip is attached. I am also uploading the files in a folder, kidnly place/redirect them at the right place

• Installation instructions:
1- Extract the downloaded file.
2- You will get three folders.
3- The system-app folder has two files inside them. textinput-tng.apk (English language) and textinput-chn.apk (Chinese lang I guess). If you want both languages or one, just copy them/one under system/app. Make permission rw-r-r
4- The file in system-lib folder should go directly to system/libs.
5- The folder xt9 under folder system-usr needs to go under system/usr. Copy the whole xt9 folder.
6- Reboot.
Done. You will now see the Xperia™ keyboard under language, and it WILL WORK. I am using Note 2, running on 4.1.2 Odexed, and it works, so I guess it will work on all JB ROM, and maybe ICS too.
Why should you use this keyboard:
- Has predictions.
- Has auto corrections.
- Swiping feature is great, if not better than Swype.
- Different layouts.
- Custom words can be saved.
- Multiple languages.

You don't need to install anything, just moving the files will do.

I'm using CM10 for Xperia X10 and I can't find the folders you're talking about in Astro File Manager. Also, can you please tell me how to make the permissions? I haven't done this before...

Hello sir, I hold no interest about CM, so can't say why the files are not there. They are there on any stock ROM.
I use Root Explorer, and there you tap and hold on a file, you'll get lot of options, one will be called 'permissions', hit it, then make the permission like the below screenshot, that's rw-r-r.

Hello. You removed the whole keyboard or just the "gesture trail" picture file somehow? If so, how?
To turn the swipe thing off completely you just need to go to settings -> gesture input.

Hello , I can't replace system apps ! Please Help !!
I rooted my Sony Xperia J (11.0.a.7.5) with UnlockRootPro And It did it successfully , An App was Installed "superuser" ! Then Using Root Explorer I Transferred an app called "Xperia Z Album" To System/app/ , I Set permissions , Then Mounted It R/W to R/O! When I Install It There , It still says "An Existing Pack Of Same Name With Conflicting Signature Is Already Installed." I Tried Setting Two different types of permissions too , yet I couldn't Replace / Install that App !! Are My Steps Right ?! Please Help Me , I'll Leave My Screenshots Here For Referrals ! Thanks In Advance!

Bro.. You don't need to install the app.. Just fix permissions.. Paste it to system/app mount permissions rw-r--r-- and then dont install it just reboot your phone..and then it will be done successfully.,
Dont forget to hit thanks if it worked.. It takes nothing to hit thanks...

It Still Didn't work .. Btw .. Should I Have to Replace the name of that "Xperia Z Album" to the original album name and then move it to system/app ?? The original album name is "SemcAlbum"

If moding apk file.
Remove Sony signature inside "meta-inf" and patch android-manifest.xml then signas normal app.
But may not work becuse some system app have external files needed... Like framework and jar file or /etc/permissions and more.
