Since I upgraded to JB,(currently using SUVI ROM V6 jupiter), when I plug the phone into my PC, it is no longer mounting the SD card as USB Mass Storage.
Please help!!
yeah usually problem occured in some custom roms . i would like to suggest u dow load official jelly bean use sp flash tool and upgrade it to jelly bean official ( by mmx ) 4.1.1 it will definatly gonna solve ur problem hit thanks if i helped

Can you tell me how to downgrade from jelly bean to ics? Or can you suggest me some good CUSTOM ROM with USB mass storage fix?

d-h.st/4BW You can dwnlod this and put it into sdcard>clock workmod>backup
then go to cwm recovery backup and restore>restore
then chose the folder
when finished you will be on ics

i have a rooted a110 canvas 2 which is running on jb after i have rooted i m experiencing this problem like the internal sd card is split into two parts
1.phone storage (500MB)
2.internal SD card (2GB)
but i want it to be one as the apps are getting installed on phone storage which is 5oo mb and i can move apps only to external SD which i dont want .. sir can u please help .. tahnking u in anticipation

This was on the original ics rom not on jb. Flash the latest jb rom v1.11. You will hav 1gb internal and 1.5gb external. Or u can use mtk partition tool as u have rooted the phone.

i flashed on V1.11 from there i rooted to reborn OS ! i was using cynus T2 jb !! then .. how can i ise mtk partition tool ??? i want internal combinedly as 2.5 please help thanking u anticipation ~

I recently brought a Micromax A110 (aka Canvas 2) i must say MMX has done a pretty good job!
But when i tried to connect to mobile internet data it didn't connect?!
even though it shows that data net work has been connected, when I go to settings>About phone>Phone status>Sim status>Airtel>Mobile network State still shows "disconnected"
I running on the Stock Out of the box Firmware and the phone is currently not rooted.
Please refer to the attachments if you did not understood my problem :crying:
Go to the service center they will upgrade your device on jelly bean 4.1.1 it will solve your problem ) ( free of cost just need a photovopy of the bill ) hit thanks if i helped

EDIT: i searched google and found a way to update it using V3 Rom, Is it safe?
ha ha i m lazy too but micromax dosn't launch over the air update . and if u want to upgrade it manually then at your on risk coz many devices are bricked totally dead during the process ( which is oprated manually even wid official jelly bean update dpwnloaded on ftp srrver of micromax website ) i will suggest u to forget lazziness abt some hours lol jus like i did and go to the service center this is the pnly way to do process in safe way they have special usb cable with hardware decoder . even i am also going today .. to update my 2nd device .

Not sure...I have an experience in installing firmwares on Samsung devices, but that is completely different ball game :silly:
if I update myself and successfully too, Then will my data be saved or I will lose all of it?

yeah i hv also upgrade my device many times and issue is wid baseband and imei which i lost during nv flash in my lg optimus 2x and yes you can do it manually anyone who has some lil knwldge of computers they cn but we believes on us but not on micromax devices ( indian company which has getting populer day by day jus about this device ) i have upgraded again my device through service center .. it will tk your 15 min from your busy life ..now its up to u you will lost all of ur data which is stored in phone memory or sd .. so trasfer all of ur data and apk's ( app backup and restore app is for non rooted devices ) to external memory card and enjoy . hit thanks if i m helpful

Bro there's no such risk....and a110 can never be hard bricked....
Try a ROM or the MMX official update....
Just Flash through CWM...
And about the data....just have a Titanium Backup...

I flashed Jelly bean Successfully.But, the problem still persists

did u do the upgrade urself or via service centre?, if you had got it done via service centre then ask them to do it again, and if you did it yourself, then reflash the rom, do a CLEAN INSTALL, i would suggest do it via sp flash tool this is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167244, if you want to do it via cwm, then clear data, clear partition, clear dalvik, format system(from advanced menue) then flash the rom, but i would strongly suggest u do it via sp tool

Flash a custom Jellybean based ROM....
I have tried download different versions of vold.fsab however post rebooting it does not recognize the external microSD card on the phone.
Does anyone know a fix for this..I would be really thankful to get a solution for this. My phone is rooted already on JB 4.1.1

Hello guys,i recently got a cynus t2 jelly bean 17.01 stock rom and i need root.
I read all post but not clear how to do it.
I need to change recovery via sp flash tool and later flash the supersu root zip,but sp flash didnt detect my phone.When i click "download" nothing happens...i am using windows 8,maybe that is the problem?
Do i need to change to another rom to flash CWM recovery? or with jelly bean stock is ok?
which is the best CWM for cynus t2?
Please,can someone explain me easyly how to root my phone?

Only way to root is install CWM using sp tools and than flash superSu zip.
Else you can flash any custom rom all are pre rooted..
Use newer version of sp tool if you think that window 8 is problem..
Try posting in queries section if you need help..

Hi Guys,
I Tried a very stupid step to update my Canvas 2 Jellybean(already updated from ICS to jellybean 4.1) device to upgrade to Jellybean 4.3.
I downloaded a Jellybean 4.3 stock ROM from XDA forum, don't remember the exact details about the ROM and the link now. But, will let you know all the exact details later if required.
The thing is while i was trying to upgrade the jellybean 4.1 to 4.3 SP tools gave a msg that you cannot upgrade. So, i replaced MT loader file for 4.3 with 4.1 and the bootloader file was missing. SP tool gave a warning even that the device my not work but still i started the process > after the process completed my device went dead completely.
Now it's not powering ON, no LED's glowing, Vol up+Vol down + Power button is also not working.
Then i formatted the device using SP tool and tried all options like download, upgrade firmware with jellybean 4.1 stock ROM to get back to previous state but nothing is working.
Now, even i am unable to load jellybean 4.1, which used to load easily in my device!!!
If you need any further information please let me know and is it possible i can make my device working now without going to Service center?

THANKS A LOT BRO, I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED IN THE THREAD DISCUSSION PROVIDED BY YOU AND I WAS ABLE TO RESTORE MY PHONE TO ORIGINAL STATE. PHONE IS WORKING AWESOME NOW AND I TRIED MANY DIFFERENT CUSTOM ROMS ON MY PHONE AS WELL. IT WAS REALLY HELPFULL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE!
