Well, its like saying which is the best car in the market, will you get an apt reply, no!
Also the mobile manufactures are actually on a war to provide the best one with specs, but the thing is it won't be the best one forever. So if you wait for the best, you won't be buying anything. So it would be the best, if you go on with a Mobile phone which has many positive reviews, great feedbacks, great Manufacture support etc.

everything I need in a phone basically is my note 2. It has a fast (quad-core) processor, latest OS (jellybean) and most of all it has an excellent 8 mp camera. love it!
Nexus 4
if you want a phone - nexus 4 is the best. if you want a tablet then either nexus 10 or Asus transformer TFxxx

Hi, I'm looking for a good smartphone similar to Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) but cheaper (200€ max price). What you suggest?
Definitely the Nexus S.

wow, you're on the ball.
Just like the i9000, sept stock android. But, and here's the big one, he wanted under 200 euros. For that much man, idk anything.
Sony live with Walkman or Samsung Galaxy SL.
So I looked up some related info about Samsung Galaxy S (I9000), it said that: "Running Android 2.1, the i9000 features Samsung's TouchWiz 3.0 user interface and has an impressive list of features, including a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor." (ps: I don't which functions you hope it similar to)
And then I fine a cell phone, well, some of its function is similar to Samsung Galaxy S (I9000), but it runs Android 2.3, price is also under 200 €. I give you link and you check more details by yourself, and hope it can be helpful to you.
Well, I can not post link, so you go ohotdeal(dot)com - Android 2.3 Quad Band i-WIN 4.1" Smart Cell Phone
Maybe look at this one but I wouldn't buy this
I suggest you to find i9000 if you want it so much but maybe not new one..

IS the ZTE Skate (Orange Monte Carlo) close enough in spec?
It's only 800MHz, but does have a 4.3" screen and is 800 x 480.

It's available form £165 in the UK, so you may find it under your budget.

Hi All,
I have a Samsung galaxy R, i Think i have done a big mistake. i should go for SII but i decided to buy Galaxy R.. dont know why... its approx 6-7 month old now.
so i decided to have some fun with Galaxy R..
First: Dual Boot Galaxy R
Android Vs Android
Android Vs Windows
so, is there any way to make Galaxy R dual boot. if yes then how?
i saw some people in android group who put 2 custom os in S2 (dual boot)
i think we also can do that. but i dont knw, wait for experts reply
---------- Post added at 01:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:03 AM ----------
and BTW, good night, have to sleep
I'm sure-ish you can port Android to Windows but not the other way around.
Why was this Q & A thread started in the Android Dev section ?
Use the General section for such threads, post in the Dev section only if you know how to dual boot Galaxy R & not the other way around.
Oops.. Looks like you've done another big mistake..
Lol.. Relax buddy, SGR is a great phone for its price, we're just waiting to unlock it's full potential. So far I've not come across anyone dual booting SGR, do share if you find out how it's done
From my galaxy R
If the galaxy r is a great mistake for u, better u sell it and buy something else.

Be Proud Coz You own, Galaxy R, which is LIMITED EDITION Phone
Do not sell a Galaxy R except for limited support there are huge advantages when it comes to sound, as it has a wolfson dac audio chip which the s2 doesn't have
Secondly the screen on the S2 is better but when it comes to life the super amoled plus or anything that is amoled suffers from burn in which is only solved by changing the display(Which is expensive as well )
So, I would suggest u all to stay with R, I want to get a R as well. Can't find one now.
Btw Please post these queries in Q&A or General
Cheers

We can install 2 rom's at a time, i have seen Galaxy S2 with that,
just like Win7 and Win XP
the dual boot thing is tough job, and i dont think any dev is interested in porting that thing to SGR. and our devs have many important unfinished task than this. like CM, linux 3.x kernel, miui, etc.

SAMOLED+ is much nicer for me, but I must admit that lighter SLCD is much more useful on sunny days. Sometimes it's really hard to see something on this dark screen. But the problem you mentioned is not that common so I wouldn't overreact. Remember that it's very rarely that somebody keeps its smartphone for longer timethan 2 years. 2-3 years for SAMOLED+ is generally not a problem.

Hello all,
I want to buy a new phone, because I always do some experiments to my G3 and don't have sometimes enough time to recover it from bootloop or something... I also don't want to leave G3 comunity because you're the best friends now
So I ask, which phone would you recommend to me? As daily driver... I would keep my g3 for developing and tweaking . My requirements are the same as for this phone + root-friendly (if you know what I mean ) + CM available for it... Also it shouldn't be as expensive as sgs3 or galaxy nexus, etc... It also should have bigger screen...
So, what do you guys think? I thought about byuing sgs i9000 as it has almost fully working JB...

hi buddy this is just my suggestion as quadcore phones are already there and getting better every day and single core phone are about to vanish so i feel it would be better if you think about dual core phone as it will not only provide your better performance that single core processor but also will be future proof and supported with future editions of android phones.

Well, not fully agree
First - Nexus doesn't have slot for microsd card.
Secondly, the GPU is worse than the SII.
Thirdly - SII is more efficient.
Fourth - SII has better camera (8Mpix), Nexus - 5Mpix.
Nexus has higher screen resolution - 1280 × 720, but made in pentile technology.
Also, I'm wondering about these two phones, but more convinces me - Samsung Galaxy SII.
What do you think about Snapdragon S4 CPU and Adreno 225 CHIPSET? Just wondering how this will perform in Asus Padfone... I like the fact that this phone will get JB officially, but no forums here at xda...

Not yet, instead of it I have HP Probook 4540s as for the price of Galaxy S3 here in Czech Republic. It's for school now. I'm happy with it I'm now writing on this notebook. Perfect keyboard!
However, galaxy nexus will probably follow. I don't want the Nexus 4 for the "bad screen responsiveness" bug.

The pro book looks great and I also feel the same way about my g3 lol. I was thinking of getting a new phone but i decided to wait until marcelluse says if he's going to continue with cm10 development or any development on the g3. My parents gave me a tab 2 for Christmas so I'm not in a rush for a newer phone. I wished I could have donated to the devs for their work on the g3 for Christmas but I don't have a job I'm a student. I will try in the future

PS My Nexus 4 dosen't have any bugs.

Which galaxy tablet in specific?
Sent from my GT-I9100G using Tapatalk
In my opinion, the good thing about Samsung tablets is that you pretty much get what you pay for and there's quite a lot of Roms made/ported for them. The Galaxy Note series tablets has better specs than the Galaxy Tab tablets. So if you want to use your tablet for more than a year without raging in frustration because the tablet can't cope with newer games, go with the Note series.
But the bad thing about Samsung tablets is that some, if not most of the newer Samsung Galaxy tablets have knox preinstalled in them that will break your device if you install custom Roms in them. There are ways to remove Knox but because of that the development of certain models are stalled and slow compared to other tablets from other brands.
Another thing is that, one model could have a lot of different version. An example, the Galaxy Note 8.0 might have a lot of custom Roms made for it but there's also a 3G , LTE and WiFi version and the most supported model is the 3G version and you bought an LTE version with little ROM support? Too bad for you then because you can't flash custom Roms made for one version with another version without having at least an annoying side effect.
Tl;Dr once you choose a particular model, go to that model's thread and see how much developer support it gets before buying it.
