Okay, so I don't know if my 4G actually doesn't work, BUT, on the way to work for the past three weeks the 4G service in one area has been solid. I have been modding hidden data menu settings, and recently my 4G is not turning on. Could be the tower has been shut off pending the official rollout or while other towers are upgraded.
Could someone check something for me though...if you go to your dialer and enter ##3282# (##DATA#), then go to "Data Profile", and look at "Device IP", is your address 0.0.0.0, or is there another numeric value in that field? Also, if you go to "PDN Setting", does the "internet" field have no value, is the "ota" set to "otasn", and does the "pam" field have no value?
Thank you in advance...need to make sure 4G works. Or, are there any other solutions someone can offer???
Everything seems the same on mine except in PDN Setting, 'internet' is n.ispn
My Device IP is also 0.0.0.0, and the others are as you described.

Would you be so kind to make sure your WiFi is turned off completely and check again? I believe that n.ispn may automatically be set on WiFi...thanks

Yep, wifi was definitely off, and i just verified it. I hardly ever turn wifi on..

And just to make sure, under LTE, for 'enabled', you have it On?

I work in an office building and i get horribly inconsistent signal - and i think the constant switching between H and 3G is killing my battery

I don't know about the others but I think we're looking for a widget. A widget will allow you to change your settings on the fly...
Maaaybe I didn't look hard enough but from what I saw that app [Phone info] only allows you to say which connection you prefer to be connected to.
But what if for example I want to be able to toggle between 3G at school and then LTE when I'm outside of school, and 4G HSPA+ when I am at home?
If I am correct, toggling my settings through the app is just the same as toggling the options in the Settings.
i recently had an issue with s beam. my girl friend has the same phone and all of a sudden s beam would not work. we kept getting a size error. i unf the issue that i thought i would share in case any one had a similar issue.

s-beam is only good till a certain size. if the file is too big then use the wifi direct thing.

Are notifications delayed for anyone else? Sometimes they'll come instantly. Texts are usually decent like just a few minutes late. Gmail messages can come 10 minutes after I get them on my phone. Why is this happening?
I got it so I wouldn't have to take my phone out of my pocket to read emails/texts....but that's not helping right now as I have to get my phone out to see what it is, instead of waiting minutes for my watch to tell me.
The app "Notification For SmartWatch" works INSTANTLY...but this app will only tell me WHO texted me or emailed me...not what the messages are.
I'm using a Nexus 5 and have tried it on stock and also SlimKat 3.8
Are you using multiple BT devices simultaneously during these delays?

I wonder if it's Kit Kat. I have a att lg g2 and when it had jelly bean, it worked great but now I have kit Kat, I notice delays and occasionally I don't even get a notification. I thought I read somewhere that the SW2 doesn't officially support Kit Kat.

Hmm, I guess that's possible. The only other device I have on hand to test it with is a HTC One GPE on KitKat :/
Also, I didn't get any notifications for like 45 minutes tonight, I think they just stopped altogether (yet they had already come on my phone) and so I restarted my phone and then they kicked in on the watch.

I really don't get why ppl feel the need to write this in a thread where the OP has a problem. It's like you're saying since you have no trouble, he must be doing something wrong, or his problem is not valid.
---------- Post added at 09:26 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:17 AM ----------
If you're on wifi, there might be some interference going on. Try getting on a 5ghz wifi network, and then you can also lock that network down to a specific channel in the router set-up, so it stays clear from bluetooth frequencies.

Yeah I get what you're saying but tbh he did provide good input, so that now we know it's possible for the SW2 to work correctly with KitKat.
And I am on 2.4ghz wifi so that may be the issue.
Another weird thing I noticed is that just now I got a text message, I waited a few seconds for it to come on the watch but it didn't...so I turned on the watch and opened the messaging app, and there it was (the new message) I got no notification about it the watch didn't light up or buzz at all. (and the event app / notification count on the watch still said 0, it's as if it was already read)
So maybe with texts there's no delay, the text is there it's just that I didn't get a notification. With Gmail though I'll have a 15 minute old email and if I look on the Gmail app on the watch it still shows nothing, it will just come in later delayed.
works laggy

Q&A for [ROM][5.0.1_r1][OFFICIAL][GPL] LiquidSmooth v4.0 - D850 - 12|8|14
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [ROM][5.0.1_r1][OFFICIAL][GPL] LiquidSmooth v4.0 - D850 - 12|8|14. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Bluebooth
I am so glad Liquid Smooth has a LP ROM for the D850! I have tried a couple of other LP ROMs and Bluetooth always seems to be broken. I was wondering if anyone can confirm that Bluetooth is working, specifically with Android Wear. If no one has tested it I might flash this later today and test it.
Update - installed ROM and it looks like Bluetooth is a no go right now!
Update 2 - Uninstalled Android Wear and reset the GWatch and now they are syncing. Seems to have been an issue with Android Wear, seeing both the phone and GWatch would pair with other devices.

Np, doesn't bother me
If I was a user I would want to know why and as a dev I gave a straight answer
For right now I'm having to use terminal emulator to connect to data on boot "su" "killall rild"
This is sort of strange... Both on this ROM and CM I occasionally see a star on my status bar just to the left of the WiFi signal indicator. Anyone know what that is?

Anyone have a solution for this yet. About 15-30 Seconds into the call the call drops both parties voices and you can not here each other..... Thanks for any help. Also looked in Q&A no mention.
skype on LS v4.0
Anyone having trouble with Skype calling.. it drops after a few mins and when receiving a call it only rings once.. Is it skype or is it lollipop or the Rom?
But besides that its running awesome.. going to use it as my DD..
Great Job.. can't wait to see the tweaks you guys add to the Rom..
I changed the dpi rebooted and all was fine. I rebooted again and bootlooped. FWIW, had this problem with early builds of CM, but that was fixed a few updates ago.

Thank you, I'll test this rom at more when I'm done with finals
So by all means flame away if that's what gets you to sleep at night..
I just want to share my issues
I'm still a user.. not lookin' to switch.. just sharin' the problems I have
A lot of times when I'm on a call & the screen shuts off.. I have to press power to get it to come back on.. even double tap doesn't work
I've tried disabling "Prevent Accidental Wake" & that hasn't seemed to solve it
I see the settings option about disabling Immersive Mode Messages.. buuut no option to enable Immersive Mode
No custom Power Menu Granted that may not be a feature anyway..
I noticed in the OP System App Remover was mentioned.. I'm not finding that.. :-/
If I had to guess I would say the double tap to wake / sleep working reliably is a stock rom thing.. currently in the works for AOSP roms yeah ? Double to wake works pretty consistently.. buuut the Double to sleep only works as the CM status bar tap setting rather than anywhere
What else what else..
Oh so I've got Skype installed.. & every time I try to make a call despite hitting Always.. I'm still asked if I want to use Phone or Skype
I'm not *****in'.. I'm not upset.. this is a forum.. forums exist for the purpose of discussion.. so I am sharing my experience & grievances using this as a daily driver..
Oh oh oh uhh.. also.. I can't seem to get the phone into silent mode now.. only vibrate for the quietest
/salute

Go to "more connection settings" it should be there
Call Sprint and have them remove, then add it back to your account.

So I called Sprint support and they couldn't figure it out being that it's a new device. I was advised by Sprint support to take the phone to a Sprint store to have them look at it.
i've got wifi tether, got the email that it's been activated, have the icon saying it's working but every time i call out i get either the girl or guy saying they can't complete the call. getting a free ac66 though!

If you use Nova, you can get to the settings through creating a activities shortcut on there, and then swap back to Touchwiz, or stay on Nova....it's a work around. This means since the app is installed it is a Touchwiz issue...go figure!
So, i reset to get it back, didnt work. Then I went to sammibile, downloaded the firmware and still no luck. Using Nova I was avle to get the wifi calling started, and then switch back to TW. Im just wondering what else is missing? Think ill just go get a new handset since its obviously missing features...
