Google rolled out the official update to the Play Store App 4.0.25 which is based on the HOLO theme of Google. But it was available only for selected devices. Though the update doesn't quite look good on this device, and the app icons pixelate which you view from the screenshot in the attachment. But the design looks too good and very clean. Google would be officially posting the update over a few weeks but for people who want to try it out. Download from the mediafire link by GottaBeMobile here.

Wanted to install a Star Trek theme, Yes I know, but its for a bit of fun.
Was looking around and it mentioned I needed Open Home, but looking at the developers site and following the App Store link its gone.
Is there any other App that will work ?
PandaHome seems to have gone as well and a search for AHome brings up loads of 'themes' but not the actual App.

This site was just updated with the complete suite of Inverted Google Apps for GB (2.3.5), GB(2.3.6), and ICS (4.0.5). With Google constantly updating their apps, it's difficult to find developers who keep the Inverted apps current... well, here you go! Developer appears to be EVO focused; however, I personally tested both the Inverted Gmail 2.3.6 and Google Market 3.5.16v2 (PlayStore) on my Skyrocket running MHX-SUPERLITE 3.1 (GB 2.3.6).... and they work flawlessly! These versions are much better than previous inverted versions as the contrast makes it much easier to view/read emails and peruse Google Market. I also was able to use the Search function (couldn't on the other 3.5.16 inverted versions I tried) and also was able to purchase apps (which I couldn't on other versions). Website very organized (Home, Themes, Projects, Downloads)... go to Downloads where you can select the specific Google app and Version (235, 236, ICS). Both flashable zips and apks. Enjoy.

Bumping... for those who enjoy the Google Apps inverted look. Check out the link as it supports GB (2.3.5/2.3.6) as well as ICS (although it references 4.0.5) Inverted Google Apps. I've been running GooglePlay (Market) and Gmail for past 5 days and still working flawlessly on my SR (MHX SUPERLITE 3.1 GB rom).
Google Play [Market] just auto-updated from v3.5.16 to v3.5.19. If you're running or wish to run the inverted (dark theme) Market, this site just posted the the inverted v3.5.19

Click link in OP.... then select "DOWNLOADS"... you can then see all the Inverted apps... and all the versions available for each inverted app.

What is the "inverted" mean? I looked at the themes etc. I still don't get it

Inverted (Dark theme) Google Play 3.7.13
Google Play (Market) self-updated on my SR today (as it stealthly does) to 3.7.13. For those of you who were running an Inverted dark-theme Market (i.e., 3.5.19), Google will load their new 3.7.13 in /data/app folder. I checked the Inverted Google App Suite link (below), and they have already created an Inverted (aka, dark themed) Google Play Market 3.7.13. I downloaded/installed.. works great.
Again, anyone who wants to update or try out the Inverted Google Apps, click link below. They have not only updated Google Play (Market), but a host of other Google Apps.

Running great on my SkyICS 4.2F6 rom. My Google Play self updated yesterday to 3.7.15 and this site had the themed version ready to go today. Check out the full suite of Google Apps.

Hi all,
As you know Beautiful Widgets came out with a new version of their app. The new app, version 5.x.x is awful it's FC'ing like hell and all the widgets are messed up. I can't even use thier last update because every time I try to add 4x1 weather widget it's just FC.
I bought this app on google play and very pissed that they release a new useless version, a lot of their customers think like me you can see from their forums and last [email protected] play.
Unfortunately I didn't make any backup to the last working version (v4.12 afaik). Where can I found a legit v4.12 BW app for downloading (and it will be activated through google play) ?

Hey guys, i extracted this from the ASUS Nexus 2012 version. It has the fancy material design makeover. Works without a flaw on Kitkat 4.4.4. It also gives the white look on the Google Now Launcher (supposedly called velvet). It is unhindered.

The one which has been posted till yet with the material design makeover is version 4.26. This one is 4.28.
What are the changes in this over one posted earlier? Any changelog?

I didnt install the 4.26 version hence cant supply you with the changelog.
All noticeable that i can see is that there are:
material design makeover
the hamburger slide draw
the GNL integration with the visual changes
i dont use google now but perhaps there maybe some noticeable changes with the reminders available in the slide navigation drawer.

Go to google settings > Search & Now > voice > "Ok Google Detection" and disable all the the voice detections. This fixed my force closes
