HTC One X+ - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I had to get an insurance replacement phone and they sent me an HTC One X+, which was awesome (Tegra3 Quad Core & 64GB) and now I'm ready to root/unlock/s-off the thing, and I was wondering ... where do I go? Do all the same tools that work with the One X work just as well with the One X+?
Thanks

no - you will brick. go to the x+ forum.

Completely different hardware, despite the similar name.
And the X+ is actually easier to unlock bootloader and root (bootloader unlock is not blocked on HTCDev.com). Head over to the X+ specific forum.

Okay thanks

Question whether I have one x or one xl

I bought my HTC One X from Skizmcniz and was told I have an HTC one xl.... I'm confused because I was told the xl in the international, my phone is AT&T branded at the top of the screen and has a dual-core processor... Maybe someone can help me? I'm just confused lol.... And don't base my phone on my signature, its a custom Sig

You are in the correct forum you have the xl with the dual core not the x with the quad core. Stick to this forum like you have been for the past week and you will be fine. I've never even went to the htc one x forum one time since getting my phone there's just no point getting excited about things that brick our phones just because htc names everything f'd up

The AT&T branded One X is really a One XL. The L signifies LTE. This is further confirmed by the fact that it is dual core. The international One X is a quad core tegra 3. The One XL is a dual core S4 that's probably just as fast as the quad core tegra 3.

Can anyone just quickly tell me what the board name is for the AT&T One X. I know of the Evita but I'm not sure which one that is. Cheers!

So is the One X considered the "HTC Evita"? Like with my HTC One V it's board name is "PrimoC".
Yes it is the dual core htc one xl "evita". The quad core HTC one x is the "endeavor" stay away from anything in that forum

And you expect to get help with that attitude? If you have been here since 2006 you should know how to check your phone model. Even my mom can do that, and she doesn't even know how to send picture messages

just see what it says in the bootloader since you have been in here since 2006 you know how to get into your bootloader
Easy way to tell. Look right under earpiece. Does it say AT&T? One X. Just the globe? One X+.

[Q] HTC One X or HTC One S

Hi everyone,
I need some quick, friendly advise think I've bagged myself two good deals for these handsets going to be a quick sale for either of them today.
HTC One X or HTC One S
Which handset would you say is better? I'm aware the HTC One X records at only 24fps in 1080p, that doesn't bother me won't be doing much recording.
Looking forward to hearing your views, ty.
Is there any contest between these two? Is the One X clearly ahead of the One S? I'm can get them at nearly the same price which one is better for the money?

I have htc one X and must say that ic goood phone but only if you root thise device and install custom rom..
The one x is definitely the better phone. The one s is the younger brother of the one x and on the long run the one x is more futureproof.

HTC one X
Hi
I need help...!
I have a HTC one X, about a year old.
The proximity sensor is constantly on (until the phone dies), Phone is totally over heating and the battery lasts probably around an hour or so.
I have reset to factory a couple of times now with no avail.
Anyone any ideas..?
Have you tried running an RUU? Just to be clear, which phone do you have? Evita or Endeavor?

If I'm being honest i don't know much about the terminology nor the phone
I think is HTC Endeavor.. realised in the UK
I'd would however appreciate any help
If you do in fact have the Endeavor, you're asking in the wrong place. This is the One XL (Evita) forum, but you can find the One X forum here.

I thought the title said AT&T, Rogers HTC One X and Telestra HTC One XL? Or was I mistaken?
I was looking through this because I assumed it included specifically the AT&T HTC One X?
Edit: Nevermind, I understand the difference now. Dual core and Quad core. Sorry, overlooked that.
