I open this topic to ask about the Galaxy Y Duos Gt-6102. I have root in it and I wonder how to get the best performance of the phone. In my country there is no information on the ROMs, and other things.
I appreciate you tell me what is the best ROM for this phone and the things I can do to make it a better phone.

There is no best ROM or mods its a personal opinion there tons of ROMs every person may like a difrentt one

DDMC stock rom is the strongest firmware and nyc one according to my experience .I took tis one for cooking my custom rom.

Okay...my friend just bought a Galaxy R and he wants ICS on his phone...i am new to the Galaxy R forums...so can anyone tell me is there any official ICS for R or CM9 for R?
I tried searching on google but no help... I need urgent help so please suggest some ICS (Unofficial or Ported ROMs will also work) ROM
Just look at some topics on the top of this section, you may even try ctrl+F and type ics.....haha

Galaxy R is not having any ICS based ROM until now ... you can try some custom ROM which are having ICS themed like GLX-R, Titanium or Frankenstein's ROM's...

Hello, Am looking for the rom that will be prepared properely for daily user. However I'd like to speed up it slightly as well as user interface suppose to be in it e.g status bar. Is there anything that runs smoothly? MUST BE ALRIGHT FOR DAILY USE!!

If you're asking about the galaxy S3 i think it would be helpful if you actually used the galaxy S3 forum instead of the galaxy 3 forum.

For GS3, U shudn't post in dis forum as its a G3 forum...
For G3, there r lots of ROMs in froyo,gb,ics n even jb, out dere which u can try...
But i prefer GB ROMs over the others as dey maintain a strict balance between features and stability...
I've tried Kyrillos 10.6, Kisadworx ,CM7.2 n many more...For daily use, i found Pranjal's ROM v2.3 to be the best of all !:good:
Coz it doesnt compromise with performance and battery backup...as others do..

i know i heard there is no best room .... but i come from nokia and its a bit different... question is is ther a stable room i mean do all of the eoms can read contacs i know in the ace some cant...???

All roms at this point are mostly dd worthy, u will have kinks here and there but that is the world of flashing

Lol "keep a good attitude and behaviour," ur not a mod buds, chill.
As to the open however, u clearly know that "best rom" threads are not allowed so if u want specifics to bugs, read up on all the most popular ones yourself. See if any of the known issues are deal breakers or not for u.
We don't like to "spoon feed" here so ur gonna have to do some self research and reading, we all did at some point

As someone else stated, find one you think you may want to use then read up on it. I'm on CM10.1 is it perfect? No. Its the one I like to use its better than stock for me. But in the end you have to decide what's best for you and what you want out of it. Good luck

If you are looking for good clean rom, look at the supernexus rom or paranoid android. I am on pac right now and love it too. Supernexus was very clean and vanilla

little difference by him mean performance wise,but internal chipset are completely different.
well,i think since cm/aosp rom are not yet complete,i think it's hard to port any rom to this phone for now.

No,9100 released two years ago,hence got a big user/community/developer,making custom rom are easy to find,cause alot of people develop for it. Our device got small amount of user(vs millions of 9100 user),hence finding dev among us are hard .

true, but some operators have it for mere €29 (i.e. vodafone ireland when switching number, with possible €20 cashback from fatcheese) now, so it is great backup phone for around €10 unlocked give or take
that means there might be plenty of those around soon, while it isn't powerful device it isn't bad at all

How it is working? CWM is compatible with the device? And I see it is Android 4.1.1 with touchwiz interface like on Samsung devices. I am from Romania.
